This is one of must tries when you go to Palawan! I mean the there are a few dishes that I suggest you try here--the tamilok and the crocodile sisig! But before revealing what tamilok really is, here are a few dishes to find here as well

128204crispy pata
There was less meat portion conpared to normal crispy patas that i have encountered.

128204128525 sizzling tuna
I love the mild spiced cubed tuna! It tasted good.

128204 pork sinigang
This is also ordinary. Maraming fat portions. Feel free to chop off 40% of the serving.

128204 pork liempo
One of the ordinary dish that i enjoyed. Very BBQ flavored.

128204128525 crocodile sisig
Wowsie. Fish and chicken infused. Very meaty. It's very satisfying to the taste. Careful of the hot plate. I almost burned my finger.

128204 tamilok
Now, people think this is a worm-- but thankful for curiosity and research it's not a worm! It's just called a wood worm or ship worm because it burrows in the wood of nearby trees. Tamilok is actually a clam. So expect it taste like oyster or something fishy. The cleaner it is, the the less "woody" or "earthy" it is.
The eeky part is the skin. It's super gummy and you'll have no choice but to just swallow everything because the longer it stays in your mouth, the more you feel/smell/taste the worm like structures and its stench.

Dip it in really sour vinegar. Their vinegar is not that sour; Pero carry on!

The place is a bar and it's alfresco. There's a large TV screen near at the parking for sports viewing (usually basketball). There's a billiard pool at 150 per hour. Also, there's pwedeng neat na na CR near the counter.

I enjoyed the stay challenging friends to pass around the tamilok. There are power outlets near the wall. It's kinda hot though good thing i was wearing sleeveless.

The place was a yes yes for those who say lets chill chill. Its more like a bar as you think of it and who knows it is, grilled foods liquor and exotic foods yes EXXOOTIICC its a great place to try new things you know. It is a must try place even with that exotic meal. But for sure in the end you'll end up with a thumbs up.

What they offer: good dinner + chill drinking with friends. I think that aside from being famous for their great food, they are also famous for being a sports bar. They have a wide LCD wide screen there where you can watch sports with your friends. We watched the PBA game there while having seafood dinner. Great right? The service however, is quite slow. We waited for about 30-45mins for our food. But nonetheless, we enjoyed our chill night here.

Had gising gising and sizzling fresh tuna here in this Puerto Princesa favorite seafood place. Great food, with a pool table and good service. The place is packed at dinner time, and you might have to get the server's attention several times. When you taste the food, though - you will forget your initial irritation. Highly recommended!

Food is great, but service is really slow. So don't come when you're very hungry.

They also have a large outdoor projection of MTVs when we were there. It added a cool vibe while waiting.

Was curious about their croc sisig, but it was just plain and nothing extraordinary.

The go to place in Puerto Princesa to satisfy your exotic food cravings. The resto bar is open from 6pm to 2am.

I like the taste of their crocodile sisig, it's like pork or chicken.

You should try their tamilok or wood worm. Soak it in the soy sauce to lessen the after taste.

I was impressed with Haim Chicken Inato but not with this. If you ask locals about the best restaurants to try in the city, Kinabuch, Sa Badjao and Kalui would be the most recommended. I expected so much because even in blog sites, it's always in the top 3 list.

I ordered, Crocodile Sisig, Sizzling Mixed Seafood and Shanghai Rice which were suggested by the server. The crocodile sisig was okay. Their sizzling mixed seafood was lacking flavor. It was too bland and there were few seafoods to eat and mostly sauce. It has squid, shrimp and fish.

I ate the worst shanghai rice as well. It was too wet and starchy. I think they used leftover rice from yesterday and threw it in the pan with some hotdog, ham, egg and peas.

No wonder this place is always jam packed according to the tricycle driver. They served really good food and such a chillax place to hangout after a very tiring tour around the city.

Tried their crispy pata and definitely the best one I had. The meat is cooked to perfection, tender and a little crispy while the balat is really crunchy. It is also meaty not like in Manila mas prominent and buto. The sauce is a mix of sweet, sour and spicy so every dip is just heavenly. We also tried their gising gising. I am used to a milky more gata gising gising but theirs is creamy. And instead of beans, they used sliced kang kong for their gising gising what a unique experience.

A must try when you're in Puerto Princesa!

1st night on town, we go satisfy almost a year long craving for 'tamilok'... Yummy! 128540

Tamilok tastes like woody oysters, have a beer ready to wash it down. Just don't think its really a worm, it's really not. Your visit will not be complete without this, LOL!

Tried crocodile in ginataang adobo, not bad. Taste like dried pork. Loved the ginataan sauce.

Nice place to hangout at nights. They got sports bar, another bar for 'nagmumuni-muni', open area with a large projector screen showing from sports to movie ala parking lot in movies where couples dated in the 80s.

P.s. This happened last September, been really busy since I got back from vacay... 128532

Kinabuch
- one of the best restaurant in Puerto Princesa as per the locals.

The place has a smoking and non smoking side. And its quite big. Every turn I can see a wide LCD screen. Hehe

Must try! 128150
Grilled Tuna Panga!
- it was super yummy! The tuna panga is surprisingly well marinated! One order is good for 3-4 persons, Php345. Sulit! Sarap!

Gising gising
- their gising gising is super delicious also, it was kangkong with pork, shrimp and coconut milk with a slight kick of chili! Ang sarap talaga! 128522128523

You should definitely try this resto!
