King Chef would have high ratings for nothing. They take pride to be one of the top chinese restaurants in the area.

The selection of dishes was vast. The staff were very helpful (too helpful honestly).

The price is mid-range but the quality is suberb.

The only complain is that they push for their Loyalty Card too much.

I recommend their chicken feet, wanton in soy sauce and fried spare ribs.

Even though we frequent on Chinese dishes at home, we still crave for dimsum and authentic Chinese food. Diverting away from our usual diner, we drove all the way to Banawe just for King Chef.
For appetizers, we ordered soup and dimsum.
128204Fish Lips Soup [PHP450 M] 110881108811088
128204Hakaw [PHP110 4pcs] 1108811088110881108811088
128204Pork Siomao [PHP80 4pcs] 1108811088110881108811088
128204Beancurd Roll [PHP105 3pcs] 11088110881108811088
128204Chicken Feet [PHP80 4pcs] 110881108811088
For our mains, we had the following:
128204Mapo Tofu [Php390 M] 110881108811088
128204French Beans with Minced Pork [Php450 M] 1108811088
128204Beef Hofan [Php450 M] 1108811088110881108811088
128204Salted Fish with Chicken Fried Rice [Php660 L] 11088110881108811088
128204Fish Fillet Taosi with Tofu in Hotpot [Php470 M] 110881108811088
My favorites were Hakaw, Siomai and Beef Hofan. I found the French Beans with Minced Pork and Mapo Tofu to be weird. Somehow the execution was not as good as my previous visits. Everything else was pretty okay.

King Chef Seafood Restaurant is one of those typical Chinese lauriat style restaurants with a wide range of food selection.

My sisters and I were craving for dimsum so we got some siomai, hakaw, beancurd rolls and chicken feet. Since there were 9 of us dining, we also ordered the default Yang Chow Fried Rice.

Our viands consisted of:
• Mapo Tofu |
• French beans with minced pork
• Fish Fillet with Taosi sauce
• Beef Hofan |
• Suahe
• Fish Lip soup

My favorites were the mapo tofu and the beef hofan. 128541 The suahe was okay, but when it was served it looked so pale! But we did finish the plate and my sister E, who loves shrimp, pretty much had like half of it. 128514

The place wasn't crowded for a Saturday night but they had multiple buildings and they also had multiple floors in each building so seating space is not an issue. Making a reservation beforehand also helps. 128077🏼

I also know they have a dimsum promo but that doesn't start until late at night. Hehe. Too bad we were here for dinner, else, I would have stuffed myself with tons of siomai and beancurd rolls. 128556128055

First time to eat here with my family. Celebrating my lolo and lola's anniversary. Sorry for the uy photo I was shy to take a photo. Don't want to look like it's my first time to eat here.
Our meal is plated. Peking duck came out first for the appetizer. Yuuuum. Then the fish fillet in soy sauce, fried suahe, sauteed garlic crab, etc. too many too mention.
But my favorite is the one in this photo. I don't know what it's called but it's like egg pooyong? Not sure about the spelling. But it's so gooood. It melts in the mouth. It is mixed with century egg, wansuy and shrimps. All the good stuff on that plate- HEAVEN!
However, won't go back here if i'm using my money since it's too pricy. P10,000 per table for 10pax. And their serving is not that many that you'll feel full after.
But stil enjoyed the experience!

Im a huge dimsum fan and Causeway has been a staple place to be when craving but we decided its high time to try another place so we ended up in King Chef. I've been aware of the dimsum promo so when we headed there at around 2 in the afternoon we were a tad bit sad that it'll take longer for the dimsums to be served. Thus the ala carte. I must say the food is good, not too salty and not too oily too. Price is a bit steeper compared to Causeway but still reasonable.

The avocado-strawberry shake is yum btw.

We went here to celebrate my dad's 50th lunar birthday.

SMALL COLD CUTS (480 Php) ★★★★☆

I love cold cuts! Especially the jellyfish (center of the plate).

HALF SOY CHICKEN (240 Php) ★★☆☆☆

This is very disappointing. Soy chickens are supposed to be savoury, and I did not expect this to taste so bland, like steamed chicken. Even adding sauce doesn't make it any less bland.

I loved this! It is waaay better than Causeway's, but mom didn't like it. Thus, four stars.

Same as all Yang Chow Rice.

This is my all-time favorite Chinese dish. I loved how they did not "tipid" the shrimp and I also loved the fried leaves(?) on the plate's circumference.

This is kind of disappointing because I expected highly from this everyone's-favorite Chinese dish. It was not sour at all, and the redness of the pork seemed to come from food coloring.

As the saying goes, "the best things in life are free."

This is the second-best dish in our lunch (next to the Hot Shrimp Salad). I like how the spiciness isn't so overpowered, and the garlic was perfectly fried.

I will, but my parents won't. They said they still prefer Causeway anytime.
