Hot pot is one of our family's favorites! Everyone in our family enjoys a good hot pot, which is why buffet hot pot restaurants like King One is a good choice for us.

The food is good. They have a wide variety of ingredients to choose from, although sometimes they run out of stock fast! One thing to look forward to here in King One is that they have live suahe, however during this visit, the live suahe was not available. At first they told us that it hasn't arrived yet. "Wala pa pong suahe." But eventually, we noticed that the out of stock board by the conveyor belt suddenly had the live suahe on it. 128546

So my sister was very disappointed and so was my dad.

But live suahe aside, it was still a good visit. I got to eat lots of meat anyway. 128516128514

Sulit talaga dito! Included na ang unli drinks even at dinner for no additional charge! I suggest you ask for a table adjacent to the rotary so you wont have to stand up to ask for ingredients. Also, If it's not on the rotary you can ask the people preparing it directly. Service is fast! Although they can be very noisy. Also, the small cockroaches are still there lurking in the corners. 9996128513

Better than any other hot pot/shabu shabu I've had. A bit pricey but worth it for me if only for the selection that they have and everything's fresh and good. The balls (beef ball, meat ball, cheese ball to name a few) are all good and good quality even the sliced meats and the fresh vegetables. The shrimps/prawns are even still alive and jumping. I can't say it enough, good quality, all fresh, plenty of everything. Broth was tasty and good as well.

King One definitely is one of the best Hot Pot places I have ever eaten at. For starters, it's good value for your money. At 600 pesos, you can hot pot all you can. You have to add additional for drinks (which are also unlimited) and rice (if I'm not mistaken).
It's a rotary due to the fact that at the center of the restaurant, there is a rotating (surprise surprise) belt with different meats and noodles. Only some tables can benefit from this though. If you're not lucky enough to sit next to it, relax. The waiter will take your list of desired hot pot items and bring it to your table.
The staff is very nice and accommodating. They make sure the soup in your pot is always filled and that your cups are never empty.
The place is nice though it tends to get really hot because of the on-table cooking.
Suffice to say, it's a great restaurant to eat at. You'll definitely enjoy your stay here.

Treated my family to this place last week. Went there specifically for the mozzarella cheeseballs. 128516

We availed the eat-all-you-can hotpot. Food and service were great! Even though the staff were extremely busy due to the fact that the resto was packed, they still served us our orders pretty fast and with a smile, too! Price-wise, it was sulit for us. Really depends on what and how much you order. We leaned more on the U.S. fat beef, lamb, golden mushroom, and live shrimp. 128522

My Secret HotPot Place. Hidden away in a dark portion of Macapagal in Pasay. We come in at 6pm and finish at 10:30pm.. Sulit ang almost P600 per head 9996128513

Satay Soup is the way to go. We only order Mozzarella Balls, Fat Beef, Suahe, and Spinach. And ask for them in bulk since it's eat-all-you-can. Their meats are freshly cut, the suahe most often are live! 128077

The staff are attentive and is fast enough to cater to your additional order of ingredients.

Only complaint is the cleanliness of the area. There are small cockroaches lurking about in the dark corners of the tables. I'm still alive though so I guess no harm no foul. 128513

All-you-can-eat hotpot? Why not!

They offer a wide variety of seafood, meat, vegetables, etc., which are all served fresh.

They also have different kinds of soup base to choose from. The ones I've tried were satay and the original (I think), and I've also tried the Hong Kong style from a previous visit. One of my qualms about eating shabu-shabu is the soup being too bland. Not the case for this place. The three I've had were all very flavorful. I didn't even use soy sauce or other condiments anymore.

Experience: Open for lunch and dinner. There's less people during lunch, and we were lucky to still get a table before their cut-off. You might want to come earlier for dinner, though, because it's usually packed and they don't accept reservations. (Once, I went there to get my name on the waiting list... I was number 31!)

Once you get a table, they give you sheets of paper from which you can choose your soup base, your food, and other extra orders. You just have to tick your choices on the list, then they serve everything to you. If you're seated beside the rotary, you can also just grab plates that pass by, haha.

During this visit, we were accommodated by friendly staff. They were still very attentive even while we ordered tons of food, trying to make it before the 2:15pm cut off.

EDIT: This is just probably 1/4 of our orders during this visit. Our hotpot was filled to the brim, and more orders kept on coming! Our bill came up to around P1,600.00, good for three.

Every shabu shabu restaurant have this special sauce that they let you mix before you start cooking, primarily garlic and chili and I guess this varies from which restaurant you eat and this what makes each shabu shabu restos differ from one another.

And I guess King One's on top of my list. That sauce really makes everything just tasty and flavorful.

And with this unli cheese balls + the special sauce = 12805512805512806912829312807712807912858810084

The food items were fresh and really good!! One of my chef recommended this place if we want to try hot pot as we are discussing Chinese cuisine. So I thought maybe today this place will be a good place to go since everybody might be all in MOA to celebrate 10084 day. We arrived here at around 11:30am and there are a few people eating there but as the time comes closer to 12nn the place was already getting full. Maybe the people who eats there eats like hulk that the forks in there we bent. Even the people in the table beside ours wants her bent fork changed. We got the satay and super beef broth and it has a rich flavor. Then there is a free short order where you can chooses only one dish from the choices and we chose the salt and pepper spareribs which has a crunchy skin but is moist inside.128077 You can just request for rice if you want to. The servers were very accomodating that they would assist us while we choose what we would want in our hot pot and tells us what is included in our meals. I love the beef so much. It is thinly sliced and very tender. As far as I can remember I got the beef, pork belly, fresh scallops, salmon head, shrimps, seaweed, noodles, the mozarella cheese balls 10084, kani and others. The food was really good but as you eat more the taste of the broth that clings to the food items in the latter part will make you have the "umay" feeling. There is an iced tea that is included in the meal which is refillable by the way but if you want other drinks they will charge you 65 for it but it is already a drink all you can. The servers gave us a plate with 3 kinds of fruits as we are almost finish with our dish. The fruits were all sweet. The pineapple though made my tongue feel like it's bruised 128557We paid 998 for two here and I think that our money is all worth it because of the food quality that they have and the overall experience. We are so full and satisfied when we got out here that I am already late for my next class 128542(but atleast my tummy is happy128540)

I miss looloo! Didn't realize it has been months since I opened the app 128542

If you're looking for affordable quality chinese hotpot, then head on to the very reliable and consistent King One 128522

I honestly care only about the broth, beef, and vegetables and they don't disappoint. There are about 5 broth choices and we chose the spicy szechuan (for the brave) and satay (very tasty). You can sit by the 'bar' and pick your menu choices from the rotating bar or seat by the window (or wall) and just order your choices. Either way, I think it's fun. There's a lot of choices really - seafood, meat, vegetables, innards.

Lunch rate is 499 inclusive of refillable drinks and bonus fruit platter for dessert. Will definitely be back.

Make sure to go there early during dinner time since it tends to fill up after 6 especially during weekends. Best table location is by the rotating belt of ingredients for your hot pot. Also, if you're a seafood fan, they have live suahe (shrimp) that are still jumpy when you try to take them out of the bowl. :)

Weekday Rate: 560 per head
Drink all you can: 65 each drink
Free short order (rice, dumpling, etc)

I'm not a fan of shabu shabu place. But I am making King One an exemption. Food here is incredibly good. Their soup choices are just tasty, salty but still tasty. You don't need sauces or seasonings soup is just tasty as it is making all the dishes also very tasty.

And my favorite dish here, cheese balls!!! Can you see how gooey and cheesy and enticing their cheese balls are? I can eat 20 pcs of this without getting fed up. This is just sooo good.

600 pesos for their eat all you can shabu shabu. All worth it.
