Went here for my brother's 23rd birthday. Since I like roasted duck, he ordered one whole and had it served in 3 different ways; duck skin carved and wrapped in chinese pancakes with hoisin sauce, diced duck meat served with iceberg lettuce and lastly, the salt-and-pepper duck. I must say, all three were delish! I liked the diced duck meat the most because it was so flavorful. Aside from the lettuce wrap, i ate it with rice. It was really good when partnered with Yang Chao rice, even better than the lettuce wrap. All 7 of us were not able to finish all the duck we ordered so we brought it home . I feasted on it the following day. It didnt lose its flavor and quality!

My 2nd chinese resto for the week.. Both are my first time.

Chinese menu are always yummy and house tea is what i often look for. It just simply complement with the food.

I love the platter that we ordered. It has century eggs, hainanese chicken, lechon macau, and parang may noodles din..and hello! Yang chow is always the best kind of rice

It's my third time to eat in this Resto with a group.Ordered the usual Chinese favorites such as beef with broccoli and oyster sauce, pork with sweet and sour sauce, Chinese fried chicken, hakao...nothing exceptional...average check is P350 per person

It's hard to miss Kirin, their whole window blurred by falling water, if you're walking down High Street. It's like a huge Zen display that is even more inviting in the summer time. The interiors are okay too. We had the Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Tausi Chicken Hotpot, Salted Fish Rice, and Spicy Ribs. Food was okay, but I expected something more. It is very comparable to North Park's or Hap Chan's lineup, except it is pricier. The service was mediocre. So hard to call the attention of the waiters when there was about 6 of them, not including the manager. Plus there were only four tables when we went. Water was not immediately refilled, condiments on the table are incomplete, and they tried to give us food that was for another table, twice. Mind you that when they did, we were already done eating. I won't go out of my way to go back there again.

Average Chinese fare! Nothing special. Except its location in the middle of Bonifacio High Street.

A not so authentic Chinese resto and expensive. Try the lemon chicken & xiao long bao. Oh, house tea is so so for a umm Chinese resto.

As soon as you approach Kirin, the ambiance greets you with its cool colors, and the smiling maitre d'. Its interiors are a throwback to classic Chinese restaurants, and when you actually go in you don't have to look very long to see that most everyone inside is Chinese. (Their happy faces a stamp of approval).
The quality here never disappoints. I know I'm always going to great Chinese food like Polunchay, their Spicy Chicken, Salt and Pepper Pork, Sweet and Sour Fish, Seafood Noodles, and of course Siomai! Most of the dishes take a while to get to your table but it's all worth it when they get there. The price is steep but for food like what you get in Kirin, you won't begrudge yourself.

Safe choice for Chinese cuisine. Pricey but has budget meals for lunch. Love the steamed fish in soy and garlic and the lemon butter chicken. Service is a bit slow but manageable. Just make sure you don't go when you are super crazy hungry
