Rainy friday and craving for another round of beer. After a bountiful dinner, we dropped by here.

Just a very small place to drink and relax. You can have sisha outside but we preferred to sit inside.
Quite noisy though but it's fine, everybody wants to have a good time anyway127867128514

Last Monday we decided to try Kite kebab as per post we saw from "Masarap ba?'s" instagram. They said that their ox brain was yummy. We arrived around 2am and there were only 5 groups dining in. Friends ordered kebab meal while i settled for their beef shawarma. It was flavorful though the meat was kinda difficult to chew. I love their garlic sauce while their hot sauce tasted like those out from the bottle from supermarkets. Ofcourse we tried their ox brain, it was yummy, i prefer this better than U.M but I like M's than this. Their potato cut fries was really crispy!!!!! It was really addicting though the serving was sooo konti! 128545 Tried their grapes yoghurt shake for my drink.. asked first the server if they use powdered or real fruits. Real fruits was used, it was refreshing!! One comment though, there were still big chunks of ice. Hahahaha i had a difficult time using their straw as the ice got stucked to it. 128514128514128514
Price is okay for the meal and shawarmas though I find it a litlle pricey for the appetizers. Also, yes i know it's already late but the servers really seemed "lutang" that night. Hahaha
Ambiance wise, chill vibes inside, drinking/smoking sesh happening outside.

Personal favorites are the Classic Kebab, Chicken Liver and Ox Brain. With pita bread, because I am abstaining from rice. Pair it with a bottle of red horse, and it's all perfect.

Food quality was great and the portions versus the cost were ok. Has the spicy herb kebab at around 200 with Basmati rice. That gets you one kebab. Just right unless your looking for a big meal so best get 2 to 3 if you are. Loved their garlic and hot sauce. Especially loved the consistency of the sauce because usually sauces are too watery. Wasn't the case here. True enough with the theme of it being a streetfoood place the food was served in wooden bowls which added a nice touch to the place.

Service was awesome. I never had to wait more than 2 minutes in between ice cold beers. Price was also reasonable at 50/bottle. The food also came out very quickly even if the place was pretty full.

The owner himself even set up a table for us so we could and swapped out our stools for chairs with backrests when they became available.

Food Quality check, Value for Money check, Service double check. I'm definitely coming back to Kite. :)

Another mediterranean cuisine for my tummy. It'll be a glorious firework in the morning haha. Had Classic kebab P135 with biryani rice P65 plus their Kryptonite drink made of fresh calamansi and vodka P399 and additional falafel P50.

Service is slow. Waiters tend to forget what the customers are asking for. They need a little reminding although maybe because it recently opened about 4 months ago so they're still new(?). And they don't seem to care for the bill. Love the ambience though. It's chill.

Met the owner something K who happens to be a customer himself as he was mingling with customers on their table. LOL. He's already in ground zero management but couldn't seem to pick up the service flaws. Food is quite good although could've been a lot better. But but but, it was packed with customers so I'd say 3 points for that for ambience.

Got myself a falafel wrap with extra hummus. Yikes, doesn't even come close to Beni's! Ang layo! A bit dry and I could barely taste the hummus.

I got one to-go and no one was asking me what I wanted. I stood there for a couple of minutes and I just grabbed a menu because nobody cared to ask me if I was going to dine in or if I was planning to steal kebabs. There was a waiter by the bar and 2 people behind it. There were only 4 other customers there at that time. I even volunteered to take a photo of a cute couple because hey, I would've grown roots there if I didn't move.

The inside has no exhaust. Outside looks like a nice place to chill outside. Food was cheap but not sure if I'm coming back.

Palafel was cooked perfectly with balanced flavor and paired with Brew kettle and went with their Classic Kebab with Pita which is also good. Definitely coming back for Wagyu beef kebab 128522

The owner of Persia Grill is the owner as well of Kite Bar. If you love Mediterranean food together with beer, this is the place!

Their beef wagyu sticks are sooo yummy, together with their hummus with feta.

The owner (Kian Kazemi) is so hands on, he also gets your order when their staff is loaded.

Definitely my new fave place in Makati!

Love the Bel-Air/Poblacion area in Makati, so many good hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Tried this new place with my workmates for lunch. Furniture and dishware were wooden which really added to the cool, artsy, secluded vibe that I like.

We tried the usual hummus and pita bread with a side of tabouli, classic beef kebab, chipotle herb kebab (chicken breast), tuna kebab, and cubed lamb kebab with their basmati and biryani rice.

Kebab servings were a little small for me, but overall, I liked the quality of their food. Hoping for a little more variety and more options on their menu though.

The place is also probably a good place for after-office drinks because they have an extensive wine and beer list.
