A quick sundate in Clark once again. And its a Koko Buri kind of lunch. Well the name itself sounds korean: Koko : "chicken" , "Buri": food category. But its not, at a glance at their menu its a fusion of Asian, European and Western dishes.

The ambiance, its good especially in their Al Fresco... Since its a Sunday, place is quite jampacked by big groups mostly families.

We had Nagasaki Champon, its a soup with udon noodles, bean sprouts, clams, mussles, shrimps, squid immersed in a hearty pork broth. Warning, this is served in a hot pot good for 4-5 pax. Since its just the 2 of us we don't get to finish it to save space for the main course. I love this one coz its spice (as requested) 10084️

And right after, Garlic Soy Chicken is served. Its comes with a rice and shredded cabbage as side dish. The chicken’s skin is crispy and has a heavenly taste of sweet and garlicky sauce, its meat is just oh soo juicy. I’d definitely choose this over other Korean-style chickens. Well its bigger and tastier 128077🏻

Ps: grape slush is highly recommended.. Its just that I haven't tried it 128523

Best Korean soy garlic and chili garlic in the Philippines. Pizza is not bad too. Pro tip: ask for extra sauce on your chicken.

Bonus points for having draft beer

I discovered something amazingly good! The facade and the name of the resto is unassuming (unless im lost in translation) so for almost a year of my stay in Clark Freeport, I never really got interested to try it. Turns out we really shouldn't judge the book... we should cover it.128529

One day, I turned my sporadic switch ON and just went in.

Apparently, their specialty is the kind of chicken that's probably Korean's best contribution to our country (hehe) --- the crispy glazed chicken. Most people identify this kind of chicken as BONCHON. Lol.

This I think, by far, is the best. The crispness is at par with Bonchon's but when you slice it, the juice oozes out, the meat is tender, and the flavour is fantastic! The serving is big, too. Unlike the popular chain's tiny portions and dry insides which makes you just eat the skin. 128529

The vinaigrette-dressed side salad is undoubtedly the perfect pair for the taste of the chicken. And for this meal, I only shelled out Php160! Of course, excluding the refreshing fresh apple-carrot slushie which is a tad expensive but nevertheless worth it. 128522128522

I would probably long for their chicken and I've yet to try their other branches here in Manila. So.

The chicken was like the chicken in BonChon or KyoChon. But Soy Garlic was sweeter and Spicy one is more spicy. Also ordered the only noodle on the menu which I did not enjoy cause I have seafood allergy, but my husband said it was totes delish! Kalamari was also good, according to my sis! And the interior was very very nice. Too bad I didn't took any photo since I was holding my daughter. But I will surely go back here! 128527128077🏻

Calamares

My colleague recommended this when we conducted claims validation in Bataan. I have to give credits to him. It was so good! I particularly loved the crunchiness and the dip - perfection! Oh! The perks of traveling and working at the same time - I get to try different dishes. 128525

Visited this place here at Clark and I must say their chili garlic chicken reminded me of bonchon but it made me realize that koko buri's chicken is crazy good!!! The Nagasaki soup is simply the best spicy soup I've ever tasted hands down!!! :) this is a place that I will definitely go back to!

Their famous chicken is so crispy with a very creamy and yummy gravy. Unfortunately, their chicken is just like of bonchon, the only difference is their gravy so its definitely not worth the trip. But if you are nearby, why not give it a try. I heard Its one of the famous restaurants in pampanga.
