Tried this ramen house in Fisher mall and no doubt the wors... Not the best one I had. Tried the beef shoyu ramen which is their best seller according to the menu. This ramen is far from being a ramen itself and can honestly be called beef noodle soup. Like those you can buy in the street with the padjak on the side. The soup tasted weird like water and medicine and noodles is for sure not hand pulled. I honestly expected a little more for its price. (300!!!)128584

Dynamite roll is okay. Edible. Like California Maki with tuna on top and some sesame seeds voila dynamite na sya. 128513 We also tried their spicy tuna sashimi and it is also okay. The cut is chunky cubes as in big cubes not like the high end type na thin and pantay pantay. This is literally a spicy tuna sashimi since they just sprinkled some chopped sili just to make this dish spicy. Ayos. 128584128517

Will I be back? No.

Ramen-kind of Night! 127836

Minimum of 300php for a Ramen. Nothing special. The food and the place was average. It's a bit expensive thou. But will surely full your hungry tummy!! 128055128586128556 (I didn't finished mine, so the 345php for HAKATA KARAKA which I ordered was somehow acceptable) ✔️ 128521

Only food I like in this place is their Spicy Tuna Sashimi. Their ramen tasted like instant noodles.

Just checked and realized I haven't made a review for Kokoro wherein I have eaten here a number of times already.

Initial order will always be ramen, makimono, and gyoza because why eat little when you can be a glutton each time?! My friend said that after Taiwan's dumplings and Ramen Daisho's gyoza, Kokoro's gyoza are the best bet for your money.

This time their ramen had the pink ginger on top which was weird. It was already good that they allowed me to swap chashu for more menma (those chewy-crunchy bamboo shoots) but the ginger was a no-no. Noodles were nothing special. Don't order their tantanmen if you have tasted Ukkokei's because you will be disappointed, but their other ramens are forgivable. (Wherever you go, miso ramen with butter and corn forever! 128513128076)

How about the chirashi? It was okay. 128528 Friend said it was not fresh but it was okay. At least they were using sushi rice! If not, they should drop running a Japanese resto altogether. They still serve house tea and they give you a whole pot. Yay.

I used to be excited going to Kokoro whenever I get the chance to visit Fisher Mall, I can give it 4 stars. But now, I'm better off eating at Teppanyaki Express or Gerry's Grill.

Verdict? An okay place to eat if you're in the area, but it's not something worth the trip/effort/gas/ligo if you want mind-blowing Japanese food.

I was so full so I just opted for the other items on the menu other than ramen. Tofu steak was ok, shrimp tempura was good. Spicy tuna maki tasted weird. It had siling labuyo, I was expecting hot sauce or chili powder mixed with mayo, dynamite roll was ok, lacks the oomph factor. I better stick with the hakata classic next time I visit.

My dad and I tried this ramen place and we ordered their shoyu ramen (265php) and tofu steak (115php). The ramen tastes ordinary with clear broth. Maybe il try their other ramen next time but definitely not the shoyu anymore.. Good thing they have fast and efficient service 128077

Seeing various posts about this ramen place made me curious enough to try it myself. Serving was not bad, nor was the price. However, despite the variety of choices, their bestseller apparently lacks some flavor that is unique to ramen.

I tried the California maki which came in 8 pieces per order. It was good and I appreciate the fact that it was generously filled with kani strips, mango slices and topped with a dot of Japanese mayo with an order of this four large pieces Ebi Tempura deep-fried 'til perfectly crisp and crunchy. Both are so yummy while the platter meal is a so so and the beef ramen is just okay.

Ordered the Shoyu Ramen for merienda/dinner. I also ordered extra chashu, which was totally worth it because you get 5 big slices for only 50 pesos! Their iced tea is also great but I don't think it's too house blend because it was slightly powdery.

The ramen's soup tasted okay for its price, 245. Average size that could fill the tummy. Had a lot of fillings. One of my problems was that I couldn't seem to slurp it. Meh, maybe my fault. Overall, the experience was good. Servers were very attentive.

The dynamite maki and california maki were both good. My boyfriend had their Hakata ramen, its quite flavorful and just the right amount of serving except for the pork slices which looked like just scrap pieces. I also ordered the tori karaage which by far is the "sorriest" quality of karaage I've ever had. Chunks of chicken fillet that they probably have forgotten to season then drenched in flour and fried. Will not visit again anytime soon.

Ordered the Hakata classic, california maki, spicy salmon sashimi and tempura. The ramen was okay, and for the price (it was 300+) It's quite filling on its own. The spicy sashimi had actual sliced red chili and sesame seed/oil and is good for two. The california maki tastes exactly like the one in family mart, there was no mango in it :( the tempura was so-so.
