Ah I miss you Komoro Soba! I just realized that they replaced their bento meals with set meals.

My sister ordered a set meal with 3 prawn tempura. It comes with rice, miso soup and 2 slices of orange.

Hubby ordered Katsudon, as usual. Still so good!

Father ordered the chicken version of Katsudon, forgot the name.

Mine was the cold soba with mini katsu. I was disappointed with the soba, it's sticky and it seems to be frozen then reheated. It was a bit difficult to separate the noodles. I had to use a fork to separate them all.

Been going since their soft opening. Food is good and cheap too. Service is fast as well and they are attentive to their guests.

Affordable. Big servings. But I don't like their tempura sauce.

Super sad that Komoro Soba opened here when I no longer live in the area! I love Komoro, it's my introduction to Japanese food way, way back when I was younger. I remember my eldest sister bringing us to their branch in Megamall after we bought our pamasko. Their decor then was very old school Japanese, floral wallpapers, high tables and chopsticks.

Anyway, I love their miso soup. We always order it whenever we have donburi. Katsudon is one of our faves. The tonkatsu is super tender, laging bondat after eating this. Their cold soba is good too. When I feel PG I always order it with mini katsudon hehe.

Just grabbed the opportunity of being here last night after an appointment with my dentist. When i entered the place, there's no customer except for a couple...never mind, I'm confident enough i love the food in here and so i proceeded. 128525

The menu is limited but the Japanese usuals are there--tonkatsu, soba, tempura. Tonkatsu was okay for the price. The price is good for students on a tight budget. 128522
