I was surprised to know that Kopi Roti already serves rice meals now. Well, I am not sure if it's dependent on their branches.

Anyway, this branch at Resorts World Manila has dull lights and a look that's not updated look --- from their menu counters to their tables and chairs. The establishment needs a lot of improvement most especially on their menu.

I ordered their Five Spiced Chicken and it was boring. It was tasteless and the serving of the chicken was so small, not even enough with their rice serving. I asked for some soy sauce to just make it bearable.

Sad! I guess they should have stuck with their buns and toasts.

Before heading to Mckinley Hill, I had a quick merienda at Kopi Roti located at the top level of Newport Mall. I got Hot Tea Tarik 11088110881108811088️ 4/5 and the mouthwatering Kopi Bun 11088110881108811088️ 4/5. 9749

Celebrated Papa Jun's birthday here! We ordered Yang Chow rice, Porkchop & Sweet and Sour fish.
In all fairness, yang chow rice was really good! Porkchop was okay but sweet and sour fish was too sweet naman haha!
They do not have free wifi and even the mall's free wifi does not reach this branch haha! 3g doesn't work here either, nakakainis.
So 3 stars lang ganon! 128514128584

More than their always yummy hot milk tea and kopi buns and kaya toasts, I really love the ginormous siomai here! A great deal for four big pieces at only P60. Just order rice and it's an instant meal. But since I was extra ravenous tonight, I tried their spareribs toppings (P140) which was also yummy! Wish it was a bigger portion though. But taste-wise it did not disappoint! Came with vinegar dip which was perfect.

DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was supposed to be a special date for me and hubby!!! We were even here with dad-in-law...a very special day for us!

We ordered this Set meal wherein you can choose whether to have coffee or hot choco with French toast and 2boiled eggs. It was all good until we were done eating and just having our hot drinks...
My poor hubby just suddenly spit out something on his hand and just threw it on his plate sabay dura all the hot choco on his mouth(excuse for the word, but if it was me i'd even puke on the plate!!!!!!!) and we were all terrified from what we saw....IPIS!!!!!!! YUCK TALAGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After then, to our dismay, my dad and I stopped drinking what we also have.128543

hubby ran to the nearest bathroom and wash his mouth! After seeing it, we called the waiter and showed it...no manager or other staff approached us but the waiter who served us...he said sorry but what can we do? This is just unforgiving!!! Even removing my hubby's meal from the bill wasn't
enough!!!128548128548128548128548128548128548128548128548128548128548128548128548
And btw, this branch is located in Resorts World that's one of the elegant malls in Manila pa!?!?
I don't think you deserve to be here!!!!

Kopi bun plus kopi (with condensed milk). Straightforward joy!

The bun had a nice crust, soft inside, and buttery center--perfect! The concept of coffee with condensed milk would sound odd to a black coffee drinker like me bit I have been intrigued about it for the longest time. I actually liked it! Strong coffee with a sweet, creamy spike from the condensed milk. I hope to one day try this drink in Vietnam and Singapore.

The place looks simple, almost like a hawker's place inside a mall. It's fine, you go here for the bun and coffee. Also noteworthy that this is the most affordable place in Resort's World--this and McDo. Other places are expensive and the reviews are mostly so-so.

We were in Resort's World for the media launch of Toycon 2014. It's my first time here since I live in the north and there really wasn't much in Resort's World that attracts me. So we took the opportunity to go here for something. My first thought was that it looks like one of the bigger airports I've been in. Nothing special, just a bunch of shops selling high end stuff that are available in a lot of malls now.

Had fun still. The Toycon 2014 proper was in Megamall, so that's a relief. Thank goodness for Kopi Roti and the good, affordable food!

While waiting for movie screening, we decided to grab something to eat. We had about an hour and a half and it was so late that most of the restaurants in RW were closed. I wanted some milk tea but Serenitea was closed already. Luckily, we saw Kopi Roti and noticed that they serve milk tea! Feeling lucky! 128518

Their menu has milk tea ever since but now, they also serve the usual oolong and Wintermelon with pearls. I tried their Wintermelon and ordered for a Kopi Bun.

The milk tea was okay. Nothing special about it. The pearls were a little hard in the center.

The Kopi Bun was perfect - as always. Served warm with the welcome smell of coffee in a crunchy shell. Once you take a bite, the soft bun will greet you together with melted butter. You won't be able to stop once you start.

They also serve different sorts of toasts, soft boiled egg, dimsum, variants of coffee, tea, homemade iced tea, milo dino and puffs.

Had my favorite peanut butter toast and iced teh Tarik! Still delish, as usual!

I still love the peanut butter toast despite discovering how yummy lotus speculoos crunch can also be hahaha!

Got siopao bola bola on the side but was disappointed with the sauce... Its tasted old like menthol moth ball :( the siopao bread was too moist that the bottom became too sticky to hold.

Well, despite the siopao experience, its still my cheap escape in this expensive mall :)
