Kowloon is known for their siopao and siomai. Was surprised that they also serve rice meals.

Since Shawarma wouldn't be enough to feed everyone, we also went here to buy their favorite, the Beef Brisket Rice with Egg (75).

This was good. Imagine your usual beef mami. Beefy and very malasa (and masebo 128517) but oh so comforting. Same taste but instead of soup + noodles, this is the fried rice version. We all liked this especially with the fried egg. Sarap!! Parang pares! Or tapa. 128077🏼

Only downside was this was TOO oily. Hindi "healthy". 128517128518

We would often pass by this store but I never really paid that much attention. "Ahh, siopao and siomao lang naman tas ang liit pa ng store." But when I heard a foodie friend say that the siopao and siomai here are "legit" and "authentic", I made sure we try this ASAP. But it was only last saturday that I was able to try this. This is just along tropical ave., beside the car wash and Our Store and across Cafe Alezon. They also have a branch along El Grande, near Ann Arbor. 128513 We tried the Siopao (2pcs for 60pesos) and Pork Siomai (55pesos). I don't know or have any idea how the authentic tastes but they were both good. I enjoyed eating the siopao especially the bun (mantao?). The siomai was good but I still like Hen Lin's! 128513
