Kubyertos has a very homey feeling, once you're inside you'll feel like you're just in your own dining room. Though once the place is packed with people, it's hard to have a good conversation with your friends because of the noise. The food are ok, not bad but not that great as well.

Nice interior. A clean well-lighted place. The menu tends to excite BUT falls short of expectations. Not a pricey restaurant but not what you'd call "sulit" either. An OK place to chill out.

Simple no-frills place to have simple no-frills Filipino food.

They have salads with Pinoy twists, rice toppings with Pinoy meal staples, dishes to share like Bagnet, Chix BBQ and Boneless Pork Ribs, pica-picas that goes with beer, desserts still with Pinoy touch. We tried their Kubyertos Tapa (beef tapa on rice topped with a sunny side up egg) served Mangkok style (in a bowl) at P160. It was a bit dry but still ok. The rice was lovely white and of good quality almost like Japanese rice. Also tried their Arroz ala Cubana (P155) which is rice with giniling (minced meat) and saba (deep fried plantains). It was good but nothing extraordinary. Their Boneless Pork Ribs (P140) which is actually grilled liempo with their BBQ sauce is just okay. The Chorizo Cuenco (P140) which is native leaner and of the salty variety chorizo served with rice and sunny side up egg. It was another just-okay dish too. Like I said, simple ... no frills.

They currently have a promo of 3 bottles of Coors Light beer for just P99. Not bad! I also saw some hard drinks like tequila and vodkas on their shelf. So I guess they serve those at night. I have a strong feeling that this place will be packed with young artsy crowd at night since it's at The Collective.

Kubyertos is a nice and cozy Filipino restaurant in The Collective at Malugay. The Chicken Inasal we tried was delicious. We ordered their Bagnet as well, it was okay but it could be better if they made it crispier. Will definitely be back to try the other items in their menu.
