I really wanted to try Pablo (I still do), and I just needed something soft and yellow to kinda make the craving go away hahaha! It was then that I saw Kumori after picking up our groceries and decided to buy one.

Krone P49
I liked this one. It had a crunchy exterior and dusted with powder sugar. The filling was made of chilled custard. I liked it because there was a balance between crunchy and gooey. The dessert wasn't sweet as well, and the taste chilled custard filling was satisfying enough.

Hanjuku Cheese P48
Yes, it's P48 for a small piece. I'm not really a fan of this, even though this is their "best seller". Well, it was pretty much just a moist mini mamon to me. It didn't tingle my taste buds in any way. I guess I was just waiting for a spark in my brain upon eating it, but sadly, there was none.

After a long day with my buddy, my BFF... MS Excel 128540...all ends well when you have these super 128523128523128523 treats!

Kumori's Toyohashi Pudding (original) and the Hanjuku Cheesecake (original and chocolate..to bad there's no green tea) is a well deserve reward for me! These delectable treats has just the right balance of richness, creaminess, and sweetness which doesn't give you the "umay" factor even if you had ate alot! No further things to say but just a solid 127775127775127775127775!

Just a 128221, if you have low EQ with dessert (like me) and your watching your food intake better not buy a box and limit yourself in buying just enough. The Hanjuku Cheese is so good that once you start it's hard to stop! It's so addicting! 128563

I've tried Kumori's Hanjuku cheese but I didn't really crave for it after. Now that they have a new item on the menu, and after seeing a lot of post about these cheese tarts, I just had to try it! I bought the 6 pc pack which costs P330, and I loooooved it! Every bite of it is just pure heaven. It's really tasty and moist, and just melts in your mouth. One small comment on the outer "tart" though, is it really supposed to fall apart easily? But nevertheless, I like it and I think I'm gonna finish all of it 128514

I fell in love with Kumori’s soft buns ever since I got a bite of it. It was the best part of the milk shake I ordered as it somehow offset the sweetness of the hazelnut chocolate. Though I had the whole thing for myself, I felt that it was not enough. I wanted to buy a pack of three (PHP25) then but R stopped me as we have a lot of food to finish or else it’ll spoil. Hence, I stopped myself from buying and heard my heart break a bit. But it wasn’t that long till I get to buy some of that lovely soft buns.

Hello, Kumori in Makati!

After enjoying my banhmi from Bon Banhmi, I roamed around for some dessert and figured that I’ll try Kumori’s Krone (PHP49 per roll) and buy a pack of soft buns for breakfast.

Wait. What?

A krone is a hallow, flaky, Danish pastry tube that is freshly piped with a creamy egg custard filling and sprinkled with a snow sugar powder (confectionary sugar).

My krone was given to me as soon as I paid and I just could not resist licking the custard filling overflow. I quickly took a few shots and tasted the filling.

It had a nice light and smooth taste. It was sweet but not overly sweet. Its smooth texture was well complemented by the crispiness and flakiness of the Danish pastry. Just think of it as crispy cream puff. Actually, that’s exactly what it was… a crispy cream puff.

It was good and one order was enough to satisfy my craving for dessert.

See you again, Kumori!

For a person with a sweet tooth, a meal wouldn't be complete without dessert.

Kumori's best sellers are the Hanjuku Cheese (which comes in different flavors) and the Kumori Krone.

As I gazed 128064 upon their glass showcase of yummy pastries and dessert, I decided to get one of my favorites, Original - Toyohasi Pudding. It also comes in Green Tea (matcha lovers must try this), Chocolate, and a new addition, Strawberry.

127860 Toyohasi Pudding - Nothing beats the original flavor - simple and classic! The silky and velvety texture of the pudding is divine 128525!!! The richness and creamy taste combining it with the bitter-sweet taste of the caramelized sugar syrup gives a different depth, relishing the flavors for every spoonful serving. This pudding can be compared to creme brûlée or our local version, leche flan. 127854

Overall this dessert is a solid 11088110881108811088️ for me!

Just a 128221, for me, this dessert is best eaten after buying or when chilled. 128523128523128523

One of the seven deadly sins.  Envy.  I have that lurking inside me.

It all started when Roy Lambert T posted photos of cheese tarts yesterday (via our Facebook chatroom).  I kept quiet but my mind screams,  i gotta have one of those.

Went to landmark to do groceries and i saw cheese tarts!  Hallelujah!  Kumori has cheese tarts!  I ogled at 'em for a couple of minutes.

Gah!  It is so friggin good!  I haven't had a lot of cheese tarts in my lifetime but believe me when i tell you that these babies are addictive.  The crust holds the cheese mixture together,  it didn't crumble when i took a small bite.  The cheese is heavenly.

Get 'em while supplies still last.  Hurry.

Everyone will surely love these soft and sweet little buns from Kumori. I got the same fluffy bread even after 2 days of storing it.

Kumori products have been my favorite since the first time I’ve tried it. So, allow me to share with you some of these heavenly Kumori goodies that I have grown to love. Careful not to drool. Haha!

Kumori has now 2 kinds of rustic bread which I got me all excited the moment I saw them.

Ciabatta (Php48.00) - This good ‘ol crusty, slightly-golden flattened white bread goes well with soup, stew or sandwiches. But at home, we pop it in the oven to give it a slight toast and then slather fresh butter on top. Classic!

I also made my mother-in-law’s Chicken Liver Pâté which goes perfectly well with the Ciabatta slices! Yes! I didn’t hold back and was immediately in bread heaven! Nothing beats having a good round of hearty country loaf.

It was my first time to try the Cranberry Yuzu (Php78.00) and I immediately liked it! I popped it in the oven to get a pleasantly crisp crust with a chewy interior so that when you bite into it, it’ll be much more enjoyable. Slowly you’ll taste a slight tang from the cranberry with a hint of citrusy yuzu.

Crabstick Bun (Php58.00) is my default go-to delight. Soft bread bun with crabstick mixed with creamy Japanese mayonnaise. It’s just so good that it reminds me of my favorite Kani Salad.

Custard Butter Bun (Php45.00) with a rich egg custard in milky buttercream comes in a close second. But it doesn’t mean it’s any less delicious. Bite into the soft, light, fluffy and almost cloud-like bread that encloses the filling, ah! It’s just delightfully sinful!

If you love croissant like my husband, you will definitely like this Apple Cheese Danish (Php59.00). Take a bite and just enjoy this flaky Danish pastry with luscious cream cheese, topped with caramelized apples.

Truly, every Kumori delight is like a bite into clouds.

Julie J. i am thanking your for introducing me to Kumori. I've never tried it yet til today, durr. Read Julie's review on how we got here. What attracted me more was the pudding P98. So I got one and tried their small cheesecake for P58.

We got this to go and went our separate ways since we had groceries in tow. I started eating the cheesecake in the office. This is FLUFFY! It's so FLUFFY, i'm going berserk. These are the desserts I know I could give away since they're light and easy on the palate. I know why a lot of people rave about it.

I got really curious with this classic pudding so I opened it shortly after. The pudding itself was yummy but when I dipped my spoon in to get the sweet stuff out, it was arnibal lang pala! Haha! In short, this is bottled leche flan. I was expecting the pudding of Green cheese! Tee hee! Don't get me wrong I like flan, too, but I think some places sell a whole llanera already for P100.

You can't fault the Japanese for their design - always clean and bright. At least I have an idea on where to buy fluffy cheesecake that's closer to me. :)

After lunch at THW, passed by the grocery with Yina M to buy some stuff... we find ourselves standing in front of Kumori after paying... Haha... Not by accident I assure you 128514 although i prefer to think it was 128541

Yina offered me Hanjuku Cheesecake which I politely declined since I was already too full from THW 128055 but then I spied with my little eyes something new inside the display shelf 128064 Cottage Cheese!!! I knew I had to try a piece 🙄 thank goodness It did not disappoint! It was soft, smooth, creamy and not too sweet 128156 Another winner from Kumori! A little steep @58 each 128184 Thanks for this Yins!!! 128536

If I can give a star higher than 5, I will. Epitome of a Japanese cheesecake. Definitely not a mamon like. It truly melts in your mouth. Too bad though it's sooooooo small so super bitin. This tiny piece of heaven cost you 48php by the way.

It's because of Looloo i found out about this! Been eating at the Landmark foodcourt but never gave Kumori a second look, thinking there was nothing special. Lo and behold... what seemed like glorified mamon turned out a whole lot more creamy and cheesy in taste! 128512

Wasn't an avid fan of japanese cheesecakes before, but now i'm a convert! Best. Japanese cheescake. I've tried. Ever. At least so far haha! 128077128077128077
