Kung Fu Kitchen is a Fil-Chi restaurant located at the John Hay AyalaLand Technohub. It has an ambiance as if you were in a scene from the movie Kung Fu Hustle. They present Fil-Chi cuisine favorites that leaves your appetite satisfied all the time. From dim sum to then some, this is a sure hit by many.

On my visit, I ordered orange chicken, hakao shrimp, and pork & shrimp siomai.

The orange chicken is my go-to chicken entrée. Crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Although the sauce is good, it was a bit gooey. It's not a big deal, I mean, I keep ordering it, but I had always hoped that it would be a little runny so that the sauce can be evenly spread.

Their dim sum is always good, again, nothing out of the ordinary.

When I visit, I've always enjoyed my meals here at Kung Fu Kitchen, but to be honest, though the food is good, it's a little pricey, and I feel they don't have standout dishes that will compare them to other Chinese restaurants here in Baguio City (Rose Bowl, Fortune, Central Park). But all is well! This place is always busy week nights and weekends, so they're not doing anything wrong whatsoever!

Happy Eating!!!

If you're in Baguio City, starving, and would really love to get away from the mayhem of the town and of that mall (yes, THAT mall), Kung Fu Kitchen in Ayala Technohub in Camp John Hay is the place for you. This place has everything you'll find endearing in a Chinese restaurant -- cheap food, quick service, an expansive menu. And while you wait at your table or tap on the live crabs in the fish tank, you ask yourself, "is that a poster of 'The Godfather' on the wall I just saw in the barbershop?" No, that sure is a movie poster, but of Wong Kar Wai's films. Feel free to mix and match any two fruits in a shake, and enjoy the brain freeze while listening to the background music that takes you to old Kowloon district. Do not miss the fried spring rolls to prep your stomach acids.

Service is fast and friendly. We ordered the pork and shrimp with brown rice, beef brisket rice, and jelly fish with century. We were happy with all the dishes. Portions are a bit small though but their prices are very reasonable.

To sum it up, the ambiance is comfortable even if some parts of the restaurant is a bit dim, the service was fast and friendly, and the price, quality and quantity is perfect! Would I be coming back again? Of course! I can't wait to try their other dishes here! For my detailed review please visit my blog eatinbaguio.blogspot.com
