One of my favorite restaurants in BGC 10084

Food 1108811088110881108811088
➡️ The Bonifacio (Tapsilog) P270- really good tapa, big serving(hindi tinipid)
➡️ Acai Berry Smoothie Bowl P235- i love this! It’s not in the menu. For me, it’s perfect 128076🏻

Went back with my officemates, ordered the following:

➡️ Barista’s Secret P150- i love it! I’ll order it again. It tasted like your classic vanilla milkshake 9996🏻
➡️ Good Morning Adobo P285- medyo konti lang un adobo, medyo bitin haha

My offficemates ordered the white cloud mocha, I highly recommend it 10084️ We all loved it!

Price 1108811088110881108811088
➡️ You’ll get your money’s worth.

Ambiance & Service 11088110881108811088
➡️ I really like their interior. Their staff were very friendly. Place is instagrammable 128514
➡️ You don’t have to wait long for the food to be served.
➡️ Though the smoking area was separated, there were times I can still smell the cigarette smoke

Rigth after visiting St. Lukes, my officemate and I had lunch here at Kuppa. We were supposed to eat at Little Flour but I (kind of) want to go here instead because of their SMOOTHIE BOWL post online. I just had to try it! 128523

| My friend’s order: CHORIZO ARRABIATA PASTA (320php + 10% service charge)
- Spicy pasta w tomatoes, chili, garlic, bell peppers, and chorizo.
- TASTE: The pasta was al dente and generous amount of sausage/chorizo. Not spicy so you may want to ask for chili flakes. And lastly, if you like your pasta sour, this is for you. I don’t so I should stick w my usual aglio olio or pesto pasta.
- VALUE FOR MONEY: Too pricey for 350 pesos and for the normal (good for one) serving size.
- Worth the try? Yup? Haha, my officemate liked it. 128517128523

| My special request: TROPICAL SMOOTHIE BOWL (260php + 10% service charge)
- The base is made w mangoes and pineapple then topped with dried cranberries, raisins & dates, fresh avocado, granola, and chia seeds.
- TASTE: Too sweet for me (maybe because the mangoes were already sweet and they still added syrup/sugar/honey). The dried fruits were also too sweet and extra chewy making it a struggle to chew them. The granola was okay but too few and bitin. But yay for the chia seeds. 128517 And oh, the consistency of the base is almost like a fruit shake (not as thick unlike other smoothie bowls).
- VALUE FOR MONEY: Not super sulit since the serving size is small and you don’t really get to enjoy the fruity summery goodness from this one.
- WORTH THE TRY? Hmmmm, not really. SORRY.

SERVICE was good. Servers are very nice and accommodating. The smoothie bowls are still not yet part of the menu but they still prepared one for me. Yayyyy!!! 🤗

If you want crispy pata, why not get them for lunch AND dinner?

Dinner: Kuppa's crispy pata is valued at PHP 695.

Price: Cost is reasonably priced and goes well with 3 different sauces. Apple chutney, soy sauce and liver sauce. Where else can you get CP with default sauces as good as theirs?

Quality: Crispy and tender, good to be shared by 2-3 persons. It's a good place to hang out over a meeting or simply spend quality time with friends.

Repeat: Yes, good for sharing and sinfully good. If you're a first timer, you have to try their coffee. Ben's cappuccino!

I haven't been to Kuppa in a long while so when I saw that it's just right across Tori Ichi, I decided to drop by. I've got about an hour to spare before the rendezvoos so this was my place of choice to wait!

I wanted to get a cup of coffee but since I walked all the way from Net Lima, I scanned their menu for something iced. I wanted to get a Coffee Frost but the wait staff told me that it's ice blended instead of over ice so I didn't go for it. I asked for his reco and he pointed at the Nutcracker Latte.

I must say that it was a good reco! The coffee wasn't too bitter, just the right proportion of milk, not too watered down plus I loved the flavor of hazelnut and macadamia! It was refreshing and didn't leave me palpitating after I gulped the content of the entire glass! Not bad at 135Php!

I still love the overall ambiance at Kuppa! Very relaxed and cozy!

More places like these please. It serves almost everything from Breakfast, Lunch to Dinner. Plus a whole range of cakes to choose from. I’ve found myself having been here in different times because you can. Even better they have comfort food and healthy picks.

Seasonal Fruits in Yogurt I love through simple. The Vegetable Sandwich, Fruti de Mare Pizza. And yes, the range of desserts especially the chocolate variety. Can’t wait to go back.

First time to eat here. We have a meeting at 10am, and we were already in BGC around 8:30am, so we decided to eat first and Kuppa was highly suggested. First factors were because it has wifi and an outlet (trust me, for people who works-on-the-go, it's our version of heaven). Secondly, because food was amazingly delicious, and it was. BUT what I didn't like was how LONG it was served even if there were only few customers. It took 20-30mins for our food to be prepared and I just ordered a Spam, egg, and rice.

Regardless, I still love the ambience and the meals. Will definitely be back here.

Here for the second time.

I got The Bonifacio at lunch time and since it's a weekend, I was given a free drink. I picked hot chocolate. It was such a filling meal. The hot chocolate was so well executed! So legit, dark, and concentrated, I did not crave for dessert as the drink sufficed. 128153 Will definitely keep coming back. 128525

Ordered the breakfast linguine because many people here in looloo say it's what they had and that it's good. Yey it's true! Will definitely be back to try more of their entrees. 128061

It was my first time to try a rice meal in Kuppa so I was kinda excited. I ordered their Good Morning Adobo which include adobo strips, adobo friend rice and a hard-boiled egg. The dish was super flavorful. You’ll really know that the meat was deeply marinated/cooked. The rice was good and complemented the dish well.

My officemate and I were thinking of going somewhere "far" around BGC and I remembered there's a Kuppa Cafe, which I discovered in Bacolod, somewhere in BGC. Good thing I checked looloo so I got directions on where it was located! Yay!

I ordered the Breakfast Linguine and I liked it a lot! There was a generous serving of ham and the poached egg perfectly matched everything else! 128076🏻

Medyo nagsisi lang, I saw the table next to us eating tapa, and it looked delicious! I checked the menu and they have The Bonifacio, which is a Classic Filipino breakfast of San Andres tapa, 2 eggs, and fried rice. 128525

Oh well, I have a reason to come back next week! Haha!!! 128077🏻

My team (including one of our new hires) had dinner here last Friday. I love the ambiance here at Kuppa. Not formal, but not too causal either. I remember I used to like their Squid Ink pasta, but it's no longer available in the menu.

I ordered their Breakfast Linguine. It has poached egg, ham, bacon, and shaved Parmesan. Not really expecting a lot with this, but this was surprisingly delicious! I liked how the poached egg added twist in this pasta dish. The generous serving of ham slices is also a plus.

My officemates ordered their Chorizo Arrabbiata. This is their version of my favorite Sausage Arrabbiata from Pasta Roni. It was spicy because of the chili and bell peppers. This dish was flavorful but I like Pasta Roni's version better. We also ordered Prosciutto Cotto e Funghi pizza. This has mozzarella, ham, and mushrooms.

Overall it was a good dinner.

P.S. Aside from the Squid Ink, I love their Frutti di Mare pasta. You can choose the sauce you want: tomato, cream, or oil-based. Me? I prefer half tomato, half cream. 128517

Had their flourless chocolate xx. Plating was good but taste was just okay. I also ordered their White Chocolate Dream for my drink which came in a very interesting cup - a tall and slim cup. We were already on the second floor when I got my drink. I had to re-order a new one because a fly immediately rested on top of my drink. Good thing the drink tasted good. The mix of coffee and chocolate was delicious and the serving felt a little bitin.

Take note also of the dirty glasses! Ask the servers to replace them before they pour water on it. I noticed this on the tables in the second floor only. There were no glasses on the first floor so no problem there.

Firstly,

Affogato ,
that not even on the menu, i like restaurant that full of flexibility to meet the customer satisfaction and somehow they really have a good espresso that perfectly well blend with the vanilla ice cream,

Second,

All day breakfast!!! The simple omellete mushroom & caramelized onion is very homey food & taste really good with cheese and fragrance of eggs that perfectly blend each other.

No other words to decribe further more, just go try yourself.

Had the opportunity to visit rare coffee shop in the city. Based from my research most of its branch is at bacolod city.

You could feel the modern coffee shop vibe upon entering, woody type with coffee aroma. Everyone is welcoming and would assist you right ahead.

I ordered Lemon-Basil sparkling soda9996🏼️ since i had coffee in the morning already. Taste is quite interesting and refreshing herby and citrusy ended with a burp. (128522because of the soda effect)
Salted Caramel cake🙂 i liked the chocolate ganache but can't taste the salted caramel on it plus it has almonds (dont like nuts128543) the bread texture is somehow similar with muffin kinda rough but not so sweet.

Chorizo Quiche is creamy, buttery and yummy128522 worth the price.

Will visit again soon.128077🏻

Well hellooloo!!!

It has been a while since I wrote a looloo review. You can blame my food & travel vlog, Hear Me Rawr (which you can find at YouTube.com/alwaysdianne bahaha) for taking up my time. Or my recent wedding for occupying my brain space for the past year. Or laziness. Yeah, probably laziness.

Anyway!

This place has been around for forever but I understand it was a community favorite around the time looloo started. I believe there was a looloo eatup here that I wasn't invited to (bitter???) and I noticed a lot of people checking it out and writing reviews. I FINALLY got to try it last Saturday and it was easy to recognize its allure.

The interiors are Instagram material, for sure. Lots of photographable details and the ambience is laid back. We had brunch and ordered the following items:

Classic Caesar Salad
Frittata with Salsa Brava
Chicken & Waffles
White Cloud Mocha
Flat White

The Chicken & Waffles were served first. Honestly, I've had better. (Like the one at Borough! And the fried chicken at Locavore! But the latter doesn't come with waffles. It's just really good fried chicken. (#relevant) It was ayt.

Next came the Frittata which I enjoyed. The Salsa Brava was enough for a few bites though. I was like, if I ask for more salsa they're gonna tell me it costs extra. But I asked anyway. And you know what? They gave it to me for FREE! WOOHOO!!! Hooray for small victories. 127881

The Caesar Salad was the last to arrive. That was kinda weird since it's like the easiest thing to prepare. But my husband Bjorn C (oh my gosh I have a husband?!) liked it a lot.

Oh! I dropped my knife at one point and they immediately replaced it with a clean one without me asking. I appreciated that.

As for the coffee, it looks like they know their shiz. You can request for specific coffee beans (not that I would know the difference.) The White Cloud Mocha is good for those with a sweet tooth. A mouthful of sweet teeth. Dude that thing was sweet. But my friend loved it. She's sweet. I liked my Flat White (shown in photo). It got the job done.

I give Kuppa four stars because they're awesome and there's room for improvement. They were quick to respond to my knife drop, but when it came to our hand raises, all the servers were looking elsewhere. But hey thanks for the extra sauce!
