Service and Rice saved the day!

Garlic Fried Rice will make you love what you don't like. In my case, it's the garlic. I have never tasted garlic this good with rice. Bravo!

The Kalederetang Kambing and Calamares were fine. The taste were pleasant. However, it isn't the kind that I will look for nor crave for. The Bottomless Iced Tea is too sweet for me. I have to add water to reduce the sweetness.

This restaurant excels in their customer service. After eating, you can tell yourself that you have been taken care of. The people are welcoming and very accommodating.

We were supposed to watch a movie but the only available tickets were for the screening that was 5 hours away. We decided to roam around the mall and by late afternoon, hubby wanted to cool down w/ Halo-halo or ice cream. We spotted this unfamiliar Filipino restaurant and went right in when the server confirmed that they served halo-halo.

When the Halo-Halo landed in front of us, it kinda looked sad. They said that the milk was already poured in but if we would like some more, they would give us some. Hubby wasn't too happy even after the extra milk. It was bland.

He enjoyed my Turon with White Chocolate Dip more than his Halo-halo. My Turon tasted great even without the sauce. The dipping sauce was diluted and it lacked the rich chocolate taste of white chocolate.

I just noticed now, after zooming in the Halo-halo picture that there are small black specs on the ice. I hope that it isn't dirt or something more gross. There was a fly in the resto, weird since we were inside the mall.

The servers were very warm and pleasant but they could be more alert. They served us water only when we requested (or maybe they are conserving water). They forgot to give a spoon for the Halo-halo but quickly retrieved one when we pointed it out.

Hubby's Halo-Halo craving was not satisfied. I'm not so sure if we'll come back for their main dishes. Maybe in a couple of months when we want some Filipino food.
