Almost 1 month after my wedding, pinag-isipan ko talaga if I should post a poor review. But if I will not, pano ma-wawarn ang future clients and most of all this company? Kawawa kung sino man makaka-experience nito that left a negative memory sa most important event in our lives ng husband ko. Laging yun na ang maaalala ng guests pag naisip nila wedding namin! THIS IS NOT AGAINST KUSINA NI KAMBAL, THIS IS AGAINST SOME OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. I highly respect this company and the owner because if not, hindi services nila ang kukunin namin. Some of the people I know also know the company well. My friend even knows somebody from the family of the owner. Even her cannot believe na nagawa ng staff ang mga bagay na ishe-share ko. Unfortunately, the owners are not aware of what some of their employees can do that can bring their catering company down. KUSINE NI KAMBAL, PLEASE GIVE ATTENTION TO THIS BECAUSE YOU WILL LOSE FUTURE CLIENTS & YOUR CREDIBILITY IF NOT. May mga bagay na nangyari na talagang iniyakan ko talaga even while on honeymoon dahil napahiya kami sa guests sa wedding day namin. We had to go to relatives in different provinces just to personally say sorry when in fact di naman talaga namin fault lahat. Here's a rundown ng mga naaalala kong nangyari:

--- Ito ang pinakamatindi sa lahat. Sabi namin ng husband ko tipirin na sa ibang bagay wag lang sa food, dahil mostly ng guests from provinces pa. Syempre gusto namin maging masaya lahat at proud kami na masarap ang food ng caterer namin. Anong nangyari? TINIPID NILA ANG SERVING AT QUANTITY NG FOOD! MALAYO SA SINERVE NILA NUNG FREE TASTE AT SA BUFFET NILA SA RESTAURANT! More than 200 ang pinareserve naman at sabi ng banquet manager nila may ready buffer sila lagi na 2 tables ang equivalent. Pero NAGUTOM ANG ILANG GUESTS NAMIN KAYA MAAGA NAG-ALISAN ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM PROVINCES! DAHIL DAW SA NAG OVER KAMI?! PANO MANGYAYARI YUN E OBVIOUSLY MADAMI ANG VACANT SEATS! Those last tables na tinawag to get food pasta at yung mixed vegetables na lang ang matino nilang nakain! Even the fruits, kaya pala hingi ako ng hingi sa waiter wala maibigay! EVEN TO US NA COUPLE HINDI COMPLETE ANG NASERVE NA FOOD!

--- Another lie ng supervisor - lahat daw ng food properly heated, nidouble nya pa raw burner at may napaso pa nga raw. Then paano nangyari na sinasabi ng guests na ang lamig ng soup?! EVEN THE FOOD THEY SERVED TO US THE COUPLE WAS COLD! NAGSESEBO ANG SPARERIBS! AT NAKITA YUN NG SUPERVISOR BEFORE I-SERVE SA MIN! Pinalagpas na lang namin yun dahil sabi maaga raw nailabas at akala namin di ganun sa guests, pero ganun din pala! Sabi ko sa kanya, kung sayo iserve yun na nagsesebo, gaganahan ka kumain?! Pinalagpas na lang namin yun that time dahil ayaw namin masira ang mood sa celebration.

--- We brought our own lechon na dalawa pero even that kinuhaan nila! Grabe! NANGYAYARI PALA TALAGA ANG MGA NABABASA KO SA IBA NA ANG WAITERS, ESPECIALLY THE CHOPPER NG LECHON, NAGTATABI NG PANG- KANILA! AT MAY NAKAKITA PA TALAGA! Sabi namin sa relative na yun bakit di sya nagreact e may karapatan naman sya! TINIPID NILA ANG SERVINGS AND LILIIT NG HIWA and again even us na couple di nakatikim!

--- Nakakalungkot kasi EVEN SA SERVICE BAGSAK ANG CREW! Halatang kinatamaran ang event namin! ALMOST 4 P.M. (the start of our ceremony) NA NANG MAKARATING ANG HOSTS AT MAKE-UP ARTIST NAMIN DUN, PERO DI PA RIN SILA TAPOS MAG-SET! Kesyo umulan daw kasi sabi ng supervisor. But still, alam na nga na magpupush-through na, andun na ko sa venue pero bakit may mga di pa rin nagawa according sa napagkasunduan sa contract and meetings?! Nakakahiya rin sa mga nasa presidential tables dahil tipid din ang servings sa kanila at HALOS DI NAGSERVE ANG MGA WAITERS! Ang parents pa namin ang nag-asikaso!

-- From the very start I made it clear na ayaw namin ang may mga nakatayo sa ceremony, so I offered to pay extra para dagdagan chairs. ANOTHER LIE NG SUPERVISOR - kumpleto daw ang chairs! Hello! Marunong po kami magbilang at unang-una, di ako ang first na nakapansin nun! Usapan they will bring out chairs from the reception hall para LAHAT naka-upo, pero I was about to walk down the aisle na, tsaka pa lang nilabas iilang chairs, but still kulang pa rin MARAMING NAKATAYO EVEN THE KIDS NA ABAY! Nagtatakbo tuloy mga bata around the area during the ceremony. NAKAKALUNGKOT NA GUSTO MO MAGING COMFORTABLE SA LAHAT NG BAGAY GUESTS MO PERO DAHIL SA KATAMARAN NILA, PARANG ANG DATING PINABAYAAN NAMIN GUESTS NAMIN!

--- Even the simple things na anong klaseng table number holders ang gagamitin, EVEN THE SMALLEST DETAILS NA NAPAG-USAPAN AT NASA EVENT CONTRACT DAPAT SINUSUNOD! ininsist ng supervisor na framed table numbers and gamitin kasi mag maganda raw yun, PINIPILIT NYA TALAGA ANG GUSTO NYA WHEN IN FACT NAPAG-USAPAN NA YUN SA MEETING dahil we have a sort of a game for it. Kung di sya nasabihan ng brother ko na "bakit yung gusto nyo ang pinipilit nyo?" di pa nila babaguhin.

--- Another simple thing na dapat ginawa nila - ang big candles balot na balot ng plastic kaya nahirapan sindihan ng sponsors namin IT CAUSED A DELAY SA CEREMONY. Uli, kesyo umulan daw kasi baka mabasa, but then again, diba dapat nang pa-start na naisip na nila yun or atleast sabihin sa kung sino like our coordinator?

--- One thing pa na I remember na NOT FOLLOWING THE EVENT CONTRACT is the dove in a decorative cage. ANG DOVES NAKALAGAY LANG SA CARTON BOX! Ang mga details na yan at ang iba pa di ko na napansin, pero after the event na nang isa-isa na kami nakakarinig ng mga feedback. SOBRANG NAKAKAHIYA YUN ON OUR PART lalo na pinaghandaan namin down to the minor details at DI NASUNOD ANG MGA NAPAGKASUNDUAN! Going back sa binigay nila sa ming dapat included sa package, I realized marami pala ang di talaga nila ginawa or binigay - guest book/signature frame, menu cards, torch/sword parade, at bridal car good for 3 hours. UMALIS AGAD ANG CAR SO DI NA KAMI NAKAPAGPAPICTURE NG HUSBAND KO AFTER THE CEREMONY!

--- The supervisor said akala nya ok lahat dahil during the event daw wala nagreact. Una, natarayan sya ng kapatid ko, next ng tita at tito ko dahil sabi nya raw wala na natira food when in fact kahit papano meron pang mga pasta at vegetables na nandun! One waiter pa natulak at napagsabihan ng father ko na "umalis ka na sa harap ko dahil baka ano pa masabi ko". PASALAMAT PA NGA KAYO NA GANUN LANG NANGYARI DAHIL DI KAMI ESKANDALOSONG PAMILYA!

--- Lesson learned, WAG PADADALA SA MGA MAGAGANDANG SALITA AT FREEBIES! EVERY SINGLE THING NA PAG-UUSAPAN DAPAT RECORDED AT WELL-DOCUMENTED. IF YOU CAN TAKE A VIDEO, MUCH BETTER THAN PICTURES & CONTRACT. Akala namin ng mother at groom ko OK kausap, MGA MAPAGSAMANTALA PALA ANG STAFF! Wala kaming kahit na anong proof, it's up to you whoever na makakabasa nito, if you will see this as a legit complaint to warn you or not. I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME WRITING SOMETHING THIS LONG especially that we know na malabo na namang may mabalik pa sa amin.

AGAIN, THIS IS NOT AGAINST KUSINA NI KAMBAL. We patronize even ang eatery at restaurant nila, at years na silang kilala especially in Marikina. BUT THIS IS AGAINST SPECIFIC EMPLOYEES NILA NA SISIRAIN ANG COMPANY DAHIL SA KALOKOHAN NILA! If you want to know who, SEND ME A PERSONAL MESSAGE. Mabait pa kami dahil ayaw namin totally siraan and supervisor at staff nya. At I'M SURE DI NILA GINAGAWA SA IBA ITO, ONLY TO CLIENTS LIKE US NA MASYADONG MALUWAG AT WALANG NAGBABANTAY SA KANILA! So sa mga nagpaplan to avail of any catering services most especially sa wedding, DON'T BE TOO NICE. BE A LITTLE MORE STRICT, TANDAAN LAHAT NG DETAILS NG CONTRACT & ANYTHING THEY WILL PROMISE THAT THEY WILL GIVE TO YOU FROM THE START. IF POSSIBLE, MEET THE OWNER AND GET HIS/HER DIRECT CONTACT NUMBER. With the supervisor we had actually may mga nangyari na pinalagpas na lang namin before the wedding like mali ang mobile number ko na nailagay sa contract namin and may 1 meeting kami na nag-antay kami ng husband ko pero di pa rin nakarating ang supervisor kesyo emergency daw. Another one is contact ako ng contact yun pala wala na dating number ng supervisor kesyo nawala raw phone nya. Kung di pa ko tumawag sa office nila di ako ma-iinform at di makakareply sa email ko. Dapat pala hindi pinalalagpas mga bagay na ganun. Even those dapat pinaparating agad sa owner or head nila para malaman nila na di pwede silang gumawa ng kahit na anong di maganda during your event. LET MY BAD EXPERIENCE SERVE AS A WARNING!

Hubby and I went on a morning walkathon and biking along the Marikina Riverpark. We're quite hungry after hours of burning fat so we opted to have brunch in Marikina bayan. I thought we could go back to Krung Thai again since we can't dine there with our picky princess. But we saw Kusina ni Kambal across Krung Thai and realized that we haven't dined there yet. This branch is near the market. different from their sosyal version called Cocina restaurant in Kapitan Moy just a few blocks away.

This branch is more of a carenderia/turo-turo style, self service and pay as you order kind of place. They only have 5 tables, 3 of which are good for 2 pax only. There is a stairway on the side but I'm not sure if it leads to another dining space. Medyo dayukdok na kasi ako kaya hindi ko na tinignan. When we arrived, I saw one of the lady staff bringing out fried fish fillet fresh from the (f)kitchen. (oh ha, ang daming f words) and immediately ordered it. Feeling healthy lang haha!

Hubby ordered beef teriyaki. Nagulat ako may beansprouts pa. Medyo soshal haha. I forgot to ask how much for each dish but with two rice, our total comes to Php150.

Yung BEEF TERIYAKI nila, PANALO! ang sarap niya pero konti lang ang serving size. Pang 1 1/2 rice lang.

FISH FILLET - masarap siya at marami yung serving size. Nagpapak pa ako ng natira nung naubos yung rice ko.

May free soup din pala na masarap. Hindi ka nila bibigyan unless you asked for it.

For roughly 75php per meal, masarap siya at babalik-balikan. Medyo mahal lang para sa presyong "carenderia".

Another thing is that it's an open place kaya may mga namamalimos kahit na kumakain kami. I really hate it because it makes me feel guilty that I have food and they don't and it just spoiled the dining experience for us. 128533
