My recent visit was the worst. I thought they'll be changing or improving at least, but oh they are so terrible! 128548

I visited there many times and I was just very patient and considerate before. But this one is really to be hated. Same experience to be honest.

We entered the door and no one approached us to offer a seat even menu. We settled on our own and asked for the menu. After a while, we wanted to order and no one is entertaining us. I then asked and gave a hand sign several times to a lot of crews there but it seems they really didn't want to give us any service; not at all. We still waited but no one is really moving closer as if we don't exist. One server there signed at me that he'll be there in a sec but took its toil on me to stood up and wave goodbye. Before it happen, I still asked for a manager on the counter but still no one seemed to bother talking to me.

Everytime I visit there, it really gives me nerves to be irritated. I definitely WOULD NEVER visit any branch anymore. Ever. Enough chances were given. Not worth of it.

Their food is just okay, not to die for. Sometimes unsatisfactory. It's better eating my Dad's home recipes. I just thought they will be able to improve their service but they consistently suck at it. So nasty. Don't eat there please.

I just had the worst experience with them in a lifetime. Totally not sorry for hating them too much. 9996

The ambiance was excellent, there were crates on the wall with books. We had lunch soon as the mall opened so we were the only people served. The food was okay, serving size, however, per dish was small IMO.

Bringing Filipino fusion to the mainstream, and to the masses, is what I would think Kuya J's mission is. My mom and I had a light lunch here of their Lumpia Presko, Creamy Seafood and Corn Soup and Saba Banoffee with Coffee Cream. Everything was delicious, but the combinations surely caught us a bit off-guard. Alfalfa sprouts in my lumpiang sariwa? And a green wrapper, at that. Squid and shrimp in corn soup? Puréed bananas with graham crackers and coffee? It all worked together nicely, tho.

I love the now-chic crates-as-shelving accents, the upscale furniture, the big, wide mirrors. It's a different approach than, say, Gerry's Grill or Josephine's. It's for the masa but a little bit hip.

I've yet to try the other stuff on their menu. The table next to us ordered some crispy pata and it looked hella good!
