Kuya J has been my family's favorite restaurant. Brought a friend to try it. We ordered:

Kare Kareng Bagnet P399
Grilled Scallops P230
Spicy Pork Sisig P195
Unlimited Rice P60

Filipino food at its best. Always order the kare kareng bagnet.

Went to this place for dessert. We got the leche flan, the mango cheesecake, and some halo-halo. Everything was okay. Nothing extraordinary. Might go back to try their mains. 128522

Scallops!!!!! They may be small but their yummy! I also like the grilled squid and tuna belly. Oh and their fried rice is good for 4-5 people. 9786

Went to SM City Marikina last Saturday with fambam and I have been to all the restaurants there so I'm having hard time to decide. Then I thought of Kuya J Restaurant, I've tried there Megamall branch so since my family haven't tried it yet so we decided to eat here for lunch.

We waited for 15 mins then another 5 to 10 minutes for them to clean a table of 5. Kuya J Restaurant serves Filipino comfort food. We ordered the ff:

Crispy Pata Regular- 437.50
Sizzling Sisig- 169.64
1 calamares - 160.71
1 Kare-Kare- 356.25
6 plain cup of rice- 187.50

Total amount: 1,311.60 for five persons.

All of them have generous serving and good for sharing and reasonable price. Their specialty is sisig mapapa sigaw ka sa sarap and their crispy pata mapapapata ka talaga.

Jericho Rosales is the owner. I loved their good, they have wifi here but service is bit slow compare to megamall and the megamall branch is much sosyal compare to this, this branch is smaller than megamall

Comfort filipino food with presentation. We ordered bagnet kare kare, sizzling sisig, garlic rice platter and unlimited rice. Enough for 4 persons and we paid P849 for everything. Winner ang kare kare bagnet.

This new resto at SM Marikina serves good Filipino food!

I definitely loved their Chorizo Dinamita Sticks and their Chicken Wings servings were huge enough to be shared by 5 people!

Their desserts are also so delicious!

Tried the baked scallops (super tiny) and crispy dinuguan (konti!). Quite pricey for the small serving, but taste is ok.

The walls are amazingly covered with wooden boxes as book cases.

Will still try some of the other items on the menu when I'll be at SM Marikina.
