Whenever I go to Kyochon, I always opt for their drumsticks instead of their wings because of its size. Their wings are usually folded so the whole wing experience isn't there while the drumstick are bigger and has more meat. Just like most glazed or Korean style fried chickens, Kyochon's chicken flavor is 90% on skin, 10% inside.

Their GH branch had a lot of tables, making the area so crowded. I had to check for the person behind me when I'm gonna stand/sit cos I might accidentally bump her.

The restroom also can use a little TLC. It's so small and dirty. It's so hard to move inside cos it's just enough for 1 person + there's a toilet and sink inside. To give you an idea on how small it is, if I'm on the throne, I can't even lift my feet cos I'll be hitting the door and I can't stretch an arm. They can consider removing this and just redirect customers to the mall restroom.

Ordered Kyochon's Chicken and Tofu Soup. Their food is okay but if you order the spicy meal it really IS SUPER HOT! Didn't loved it though. Not a fan of caramelized ulam for my main course. But good enough for the price.

Avoid their Soy Bulgogi. They don't seem to be freshly made like their fried chicken. Came sour with starchy, clumpy, water-depleted bulgogi sauce. At least they did not ask me to pay for my barely touched meal. Wasted my time though.

Everyone probably had been to Bon Chon already, which is quite similar to Kyochon. The little difference they have though is that Kyochon seems to have more choices of how they cook their chicken, such as they have Red Series, Honey Series, Original Series and Soonsal Series.

Our pick were Honey, Original and Soonsal Series. We didn’t get the Red, cause we assumed that it probably will taste kind of spicy, and not everyone who was with us were into spicy dishes. As for the other flavours we ordered, all were deep fried to perfection, as they weren’t dry on the inside and were coated differently depending on which series we ordered for.

HONEY SERIES was marinated 24 hours, deep fried and coated with honey sauce, so it had that sticky coating which made it sweet and it complimented the taste of the marinated chicken which had a slight hint of saltiness to it.

ORIGINAL SERIES was deep fried and glazed with soy garlic sauce, which gave it that hint of garlic, sweet and salty flavours.

SOONSAL SERIES used chicken breasts, dipped in special batter, deep fried, chopped into strips. We ordered SOY SOONSAL from this series, so our’s had a salad bedding, chopped soonsal chicken on top and poured in with their soy vinaigrette dressing. So it gave that sweet, sour and slightly salty taste. Better get this dish since we all know that chicken breasts is one the driest part of the chicken, so the sauce really prevented that from
happening and made this dish taste really good. Actually, one of the best dish i’ve had that night.

What i love about this place too though is that even if the chickens we had were deep fried, all of it were still juicy to eat.

We had dined here with my auntie, sister and cousin a few months ago.. 128513

Everyone's getting crazy about their chicken and so we decided to give it a try. 128069

What we had for dinner was the 25pcs Chicken mixed with both flavors which is the Original and Spicy. 128522 We also had their Soy Soonsal Chicken. 128076

The Original flavor was good but nothing special about it it tastes the same like whats in BonChon and 4Fingers. 128077 The Spicy flavor was really not for me it was a wrong choice coz guess what it was way too spicy to the extent na "nakakasakit na sa puso yung anghang" hahahah!! Lol! Too much spiciness going down there!! 128514

The Soy Soonsal Chicken was great at least!! The breading was crispy!! The dip was good they blend well with each other. 128588

Service was good crews were attentive and courteous. 128513

I like Kyochon better than Bonchon! Although their wings are a bit small. I like their soy garlic wings. I didnt like their side salad, the dressing was too sour for my taste.

I'm such a fan of Korean chicken. This is better than Bon chon. They don't scrimp on the sauce and the chicken is so tender and tasty! Definitely dreaming of this and will be back!! I loved my food so much I wasn't able to take a photo! Haha. Oh btw, the rice was good too!! Nice and soft and sticky. 128523

We got a take out of their red drumsticks and I can't really tell if this one's better than Bonchon because we ate our chicken after an hour so I have to go back and maybe dine. Their spicy chicken is really spicy which I like very much. I was looking for the crispiness like Bonchon's. I like their packaging, it's very Lee Min Ho.

It's my first time eating here. Since, kumakain lang ako ng kanin kapag weekends, sinulit ko na. I liked their food but what made me like this place more is their service. I only ordered 2 pc drumstick to go with my Kimchi rice. They gave me 3 pcs of chicken since their drumsticks are smaller than usual. Also, I requested the egg to be scrambled but they were honest in saying that they can't do it for me and politely apologized. It's really about setting expectations. I left them a tip with a smile on my face. And yes, I rarely smile in person.

A high end and yummier version of Bonchon chicken.128539

Pricey, but its worth trying since they have an excellent customer service and flavorful chicken. Will definitely come back for more chicken!! My eyes started to shed some tears when I finally tried their spicy chicken (it's flaming hot) 128076

P.S. Don't forget to try their Honey chicken series! 128020

No wonder KyoChon keeps getting a lot of good reviews! Their chicken is so good! To top that off, their service is even better!

From the moment we walked inside the restaurant up until we left, we were treated with so much enthusiasm! We were asked how our food was, the servers introduced themselves, and no glass of water was left unrefilled.

Their chicken here seems to be more flavorful than most double fried chicken. Maybe because the skin is thicker? Unlike others though, it's still flavorful even as you get to the actual chicken meat.

Tried the spicy chicken (Red Series), could not taste anything! Way too spicy! I recommend getting their Honey Series chicken.

Annyeonghaseyo!!! That's the first thing you hear from EVERY worker when you first enter. It makes you how automatically it's so overpowering.

Better than Bonchon! Spicy chicken was REALLY spicy! I love spicy, but the Honey Series won my tastebuds over. :) Price was excellent and the restaurant was clean and the staff was very attentive to their customers.

Es war SUPER LECKER. PUNKT! :) #bonwho?

Way better than Bonchon! The Yuza Sparkling tea is like lemon sparkling drink with the rind blended into it. Will stick to water or soda next time.

Finally, I got to try Kyochon in Greenhills after several weeks of raving about it ever since I saw this branch open.

I went to Kyochon with a few friends since some haven't tried it yet. I was even proud to say "Once you've tried Kyochon, you'll forget entirely about Bonchon." So we decided to order one set meal and medium sweet honey wings (10pcs). The set meal comes with 10pcs wings (can be half original half red spicy), 2 rice, 2 drinks and a salad (yes, two of us are on a no rice diet). When our food arrived, I noticed that the set meal wings are smaller in size as compared to the regular wings. Though, the taste still remains the same as my previous experience in Megamall. The sauce (whether original, red spicy or sweet honey) is still delightfully rich with flavors. The meat is not bland unlike other korean chicken stores.

I will definitely visit Kyochon again but will avoid the set meal. Nobody likes to eat small chicken wings, Kyochon!
