It's been YEARS since I've been to Robinsons Manila and for one particularly important errand, I needed to go there by myself. I considered commuting all the way, parking midway and Uber-ing the rest but then finally decided to just drive and face the chaos that is Taft Ave.
Ok long story short, got there after about an hour or so and I literally felt like a fish out of water since I didn't know anything about the mall or where to go! Got there a little after lunch and I spotted Kyochon on the lower ground floor. Since #1 - I love korean wings, #2 - we don't have kyochon in the south and #3 - I've never tried it before, I decided to give it a go.
The place was small but well appropriated. Good lighting and it really had the feel of korean restos we've tried I'm Seoul.
Checked out what my seat mates were eating and I saw the kimchi rice (₱98) so i decided to get that and ten pieces of their wings (₱298). Eep not sure about the prices but I paid less than 500 for sure. It's a bit pricier than bon Chon cos it's actually a sit down resto. Also, the chicken is fried in a specific way in canola oil and brushed 75 times with the sauce!
Took about 10 mins but i was super entertained by the brand new k-pop videos being shown on the TV. What I ordered was just right for me and the chicken was really good, srsly! The skin was crisp and delicious and the meat was tasty and not oily! The kimchi rice was just ok, could've been spicier imo.
Service was nice too and servers were all polite and knowledgeable 128077 hope they open one here in the south soon!

I was looking for a good place to eat and I saw this Korean Resto with Lee Min Ho as their endorser.128525 So I decided to try it. I asked what their best seller was and they said it was the Honey series,so that's what I ordered. I ordered the small serving which according to the menu, it was 5 pieces, well I got 6. Yay! The chicken was crispy, tasty, and juicy at the same time and I liked it very much. I think if I would compare it to Bonchon, it was a little better (sorry). Hahaha I also ordered a salad with grilled chicken and you have the option if you want to have orange or blueberry vinaigrette. The grilled chicken on the salad has a lot of flavor and not dry; however, the blueberry vinaigrette was a little too sweet for my taste. I also ordered kimchi fried rice, which is very good in my opinion. I really like eating kimchi and I enjoyed eating the fried rice. It was a good pair for the honey chicken I had. As a fan of korean food, I would say that I enjoyed eating at Kyochon. I would come back when I can. 128515

It's actually my 4th time here.128514128514 I already tried the original, red, and honey series. And on my third, I had soy soonsal. But my favorite has got to be the photo above, Chicken Galbi Steak w/ Kimchi Rice and Side Salad because it is grilled and a balanced meal as well. I like Kyochon more than the other -chon. 9996

First time to try this after a branch opened in the mall closest to me.

Sadly, didn't like it that much. The chicken wings were super small. The original soy garlic recipe was a nope for me, although I kind of liked the honey one. The prices were also too high for my liking.

Also, the staff at this branch ignored me multiple times when I asked for a glass of water. As in looked right at me and then turned away. Hmp! 128513

If you had enough of their fried chicken, fret not because they have galbi steak, also a chicken dish but grilled, a healthier alternative, less oil, comes with a salad, rice and egg. Another good dish from Kyochon. 128522
