Ambiance is nice. Food is good. Dessert is alright.
Bit pricey for other finds in menu, but nice place to dine in and get your comfort fill of good food.

A little average for what it is, but I do appreciate the idea and comfort it brings..

127860 Fried Chicken & Buttermilk Waffles
- Chicken fillet was of good portion, crispy on the outside, juicy in the inside. Too bad the waffles that came with it were overcooked and rock-solid. Struggle to cut!

127860 Hawaiian Loco Moco
Filling, but ordinary. Zzz..

127860 Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp
Love this Asian-inspired flavor! Delicious sweet-and-savory combination of the pineapple rice and zesty sauce dipped shrimps... Kinda reminds me of Laksa. Yummm!

PS. Going up the stairs was a challenge- no no if you're with elders.

La La Fun Land has all the stuff I have been craving! I ordered some poutine, a Juicy Lucy burger, and their signature Blue Chocolate Shake.

The poutine was just right in terms of size, and had enough cheese to my liking drizzled all over the thick-cut chips/fries. The white-chocolate and vanilla shake was delightfully blue and thankfully not too sweet, making me even more curious about their other blended offerings. The Juicy Lucy was thick, both because of the sweet buns and the chunky beef patty. Even the fresh vegetables came in thick cuts, imparting a homemade or hotel-made flavour to it.

The place was decorated in mostly blues, whites, greys, and blacks, wood grain and red pipe light fixtures adding more touches of colour. It had calming, chill-out music perfect for the Filipino and American comfort food they serve. The sisters who run the place were gregarious and welcoming, making sure guests were comfortable and satisfied with their meals.

Parking and stairs might prove challenging, but their full menu of classic eats is worth a try and subsequent visits. Try sitting near the counter to stay cool, and hang your bag on the many bag hooks graciously attached to every table.

One of the chalk art boards hanging above their counter reads: 'If I Can't Go to Heaven, Take Me to La La Land!' I want to go back to this near-heavenly land of comfort food that bears an unusual name.

La La Fun Land is a casual dining restaurant with a cool laid back vibe. Their menu stretches from burgers, sandwiches, pastas, asian tacos, rice entrees, finger food, salads, desserts, milkshakes and more.

On the table
🔹Buffalo Poppers - crunchy, cheesy, flavorful and slightly spicy. My favorite from all of the dishes we ordered. Nicely plated too.
🔹Bacon Quesadilla - magic word, bacon!!! Great portion and ingredients were evenly spread out. I love how the tortillas were very thin yet didn't break. I loved the salty cheese and the bacon bits. Sour cream was good but I snagged some of the Bleu Cheese dressing from the Buffalo Poppers too.
🔹Grilled Chicken Salad - generous serving of chicken. Light salad that served as a breather from all of the rich flavors of the other dishes. Not sure if they mixed in some vinaigrette dressing as I detected something that resembles that.
🔹Hawaiian Loco Moco - 2 huge all beef burger patties that were heavy on the stomach. We couldn't figure out what seasonings they used but we weren't too fond of the flavor profile.
🔹Campfire S'mores Drink - I totally forgot to taste my sister's drink. By the time I took a sip, there was barely any left. They said it was ok but not wow. They've had better, thicker and creamier milkshakes.
🔹Chocnut Milkshake - Chocnut flavor was barely there. The drink just tasted of milk or melted vanilla ice cream. I regret drinking this at the end of the meal since it became warm.

PRICE - Total damage was around P1,200 for all of these. The three of us over ordered because we were famished and having late lunch. We brought home half of the Hawaiian Loco Moco.

SERVICE - One of the owners was there and made us feel relaxed and welcome. She was very ma PR and while chatting we discovered that she went to the same University as all 3 of us. She was in the same batch as my sister and they even had common friends and professors. They had fun reminiscing about the good old college days.

I would love to go back for the Buffalo Poppers and try the Burgers, Asian Tacos and I want S'mores Brownie Skillet.
