The place was fantastic however 3 of us got bed bug bites after. I would gladly give them 5 but the bed bugs on their loft rooms gave me peklat. Huhu

We chose La Luz Beach in Batangas to celebrate my mother's birthday. It's a great place to relax and have fun. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. They provide good services. Their buffet is delicious and have different kind of dishes. Aside from the great beach and beautiful sight seeings, you can do lots activities such as swimming, snorkeling, diving, jet skis and even play volleyball on sand. La luz beach resort also offers therapeutic massage for even a much relaxing get away. Life guards and first aid teams are always prepared for the safety of their guests. I can say that La Luz beach is a very good place to spend your vacation with friends or with family. Our stay at the resort is worth the time and money because of the beautiful place and their number of activities being offered. I will recommend this to other people who are looking for never forgetful experience and I myself will sure go back here again.

Death by ADOBO.
I could have given la luz 3 stars for inconsistency but since i got a whole lot 3 servings of this, you got me there.

We got to stay for 3D 2N the meal package includes Lunch when you arrived, Snack, Dinner and Breakfast.

The Lunch when we arrived was dissapointing, however all meals after that was good enough specially on dinners.
Minimum of 4 dish, and lot of fruits and juice.
Not the typical hotel type of buffet but for a stress free meal, they sure gave a lot of pounds.

Will definitely go back, i hope to get a handfull of adobo next time 128513

La Luz would always be that place where I would go if I want a quick beach fix. It has a relaxed vibe, and among all the good hotels in Laiya, this would be the most affordable for an overnight stay. I suggest you go snorkelling here-- its amazing how many varieties of fish you can see from just swimming a few meters away from the shore of the resort itself. Just rent a snorkelling gear at the resort for 75 pesos (its a full mask snorkelling gear). Their food used to be great but just recently, when I visited the resort, it wasn't that good anymore, and they increased the price for buffet as well, which was a bit disappointing.

I went to La Luz, a beachfront resort in Batangas, twice this year. Last March, we celebrated my friend's birthday here. I had a good experience then. So we brought the family here for an outing this December. I booked a premiere loft that should be good for 7 people, but could accommodate 10 people. We were required to get the food package for P1350 per person, which included our lunch upon arrival, snacks, dinner and breakfast the following morning. Food was good, by the way. We were all happy and satisfied on our food.

The kids decided to try Tribord, the full-face snorkeling mask, for P75/hr. Superhero feels.

Cabanas and beach lounge chairs are available for use. These are free of charge. At night, we stayed at the beach lounge chairs looking at the nighttime sky. Like a boss!

If you just want to chill somewhere near Manila, try to get your vitamin sea at La Luz Beach Resort.

Laiya, Batangas is a popular beach destination for both tourists and locals alike.

Last weekend my friends and i stayed a night in La Luz. It wasn't our first visit, but it was the first time to stay in a room. At first, we thought we overpaid for the room; but our experience was justified by the fact that La Luz has excellent service.

Eight of us shared a room and paid full-board. The room was small with tiny (but comfotable) beds. It was clean, but lacked basic amenities that i would've expected to be included. Bathroom was so-so. There was a period in our stay that the water pressure dropped and it was difficult to get anything from the tap. Everything in the room and bath was well kept, but it was abvious that the place has seen better days. It wasn't run down, but it didn't feel new.

The food included was actually good. The menu for breakfast, lunch, merienda, and dinner included the usual fare like: tapa, rice, egg, liempo, veggies, soup, grilled, fish, fruits, suman, etc.

There are cabanas and reclining chairs on the beach that you can either rent for the day, or use for free when you're in a room. The sand isn't very fine, but the beach is very clean. Overall "fairly decent".

Their staff should be commended for giving excellent service. They were attentive, polite, and accommodating.

It was a good place and we had a fun trip. I hope to visit again. 🙃

La Luz has been our go to day trip destination for as long as I can remember. Last Saturday, November 14, my team and I were there for a mini team building with one goal in mind. Relaxation.

What used to be a very bumpy ride in the stretch of Laiya is now a paved road. SLEX - Star Toll - Ibaan exit - following the signs of any Laiya resort will get you there. Took us 2 easy hours in our rented van.

Upon arrival, gave the receptionist the 3 different reservations we had and paid in full. Tip: for day trippers, if you reserve under 1 name, you all get 1 open air cabana only. This is why we had ours under 3 reservations. A day trip costs PHP 900 which already includes entrance, buffet lunch, buffet merienda and the open air cabana good from 8AM to 5PM. An overnight trip will cost PHP 1350 for the food package each plus the room rate with 3300 as the most inexpensive good for 4. Pets are allowed for a fee.

We brought drinks and chips from the town market before we went to the resort, we were not charged corkage for them. Buying from the resort will cost double.

The best thing about La Luz is the house reef. Just a few steps away is a marine sanctuary. Rent a snorkel set for PHP 100 for 3 hours or a tribord for PHP 75 an hour and off you go! We had fun swimming with a lot of colorful fishies. They also have a volleyball court, bikes, kayaks and board games for rent.

We rented pictionary and had a really awesome nap in our cabana before we went into the water. There is wifi but not so reliable. Smart signal was always H+ only.

Food - for lunch there was beef, pork, fish and veggies plis rice and dessert. For meryenda, sandwich, kakanin and pansit. Food quality is okay, carienderia level in our opinion. Nothing we ate wowed us but as all meals were buffet style, good enough! Juice and iced tea also available.

Over all, a great day trip and bonding trip with my work family and will definitely go back - for an overnighter!

A nice, basic/no frills but very quaint resort. It's a small beach resort with a strip of two-levels cottages/houses by the beach. They offer few activities like snorkeling, kayak & banana boat.

My weekend here was very relaxing. It was not crowded despite it being the long weekend. Very relaxing to stay inside the cabanas fronting the beach. The staff was really friendly. You have to pay a mandatory fee for the food and I found it sulit. Php1350 for lunch, merienda, dinner & breakfast buffet. Dishes were basic but passable to the tastebuds, especially the price - really affordable.

Since the guests occupied the whole resort area in Acuatico, we decided to sleep in the nearby resort.

This is a go-to place where you'll be back from the old times; no Television, just the bed, bathroom (minus the toiletries, so make sure you bring your own), Air-condition, and thank God for the Wi-fi. 128077

It's like being one with nature.

During the night, you can stay in their cottages with mattress and you can rent boardgames and order a round of beer to their 24/7 staff. If you feel like you wanna relax, you can avail of their body massage for only Php 350.00/per person.

In the morning, try their breakfast buffet while watching the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. 128170🏽 Hahaha

Then go for a swim because it is next to the shore. 127946🏽

Nice place to go to, if you want to get away from the city for awhile, on a budget, but without comprising quality of stay. We went here for a day trip, so we stayed in the cabanas by the beach, 9-5pm. It's not the best beach, but it's still a beach.

The service was good. The people were really nice and accommodating and we even got really good buko pandan upon arrival. It was really good but I didn't finish it cause it was a little too sweet. 128513

Only down side is the food... You can't really bring food from outside and the food that they do have inside isn't that great. Oh and it wasn't sunny. It was nice that it was cool but I just wasn't expecting to feel the need to wear a sweater while walking along the shore.

Will we go back? It's not a no but not a definite yes either. Maybe.

Been visiting the place several times in a year. Service is nice and we always enjoyed our stay there more so now as their food buffet has greatly improve. Despite the shower not working sometimes i'm still going to rate this high as the overall experience far outweighs the minor nuisance. Cheers 127863

Directions to the place were so accurate. Felt like i was such a good navigator! 128526

It was my second time here. And this was just the place i needed! Time away from some stress and the hassle of city life. For a while,I was not able to take my time lounging on the beach or spend a day or two just lounging and chilling on the beach chair. It was heaven. Bitin ang two days, though. I didn't get dark enough. 128547 BUT it's okay. Heehee i'll be back anyway.

Let's talk about the whole experience.
Staff was friendly. They were accommodating and they make sure you're all right.

Room was pretty clean. A/C was cool, banyo was clean, beds were well made.

Food was nakakabusog. Buffet style. Haha with the room fee, there's a required fee for the meals per person, per day. That covers lunch when you check-in by 9am. Then, snack. Then, dinner, then breakfast the next day... Until you check-out. Didn't mind being a little bloated before hitting the beach and soaking up the sun rays! 128523128523128523

Another plus is that this place is pet friendly. Yes,you may bring your dog. We did that the last time we were there. 128054

Will definitely keep coming back here :) it's become a favorite already! 10084

Great for a weekend beach getaway. We stayed in their Annex Loft. Nice clean room and comfy beds. They need to improve their showers though, clogged and very low pressure so you couldn't really take a proper bath, takes to looong to rinse.

Beach is rocky but they have a great spot for snorkelling128031128032.

Food is buffet style, good selection but taste is so-so..

My family and I stayed at La Luz in Laiya, Batangas last week.

The resort was fairly big and spacious. There were cabanas fronting the beach as well as recliners on the shore.

The rooms in Laiya are affordable. They're very simple but are clean and spacious.

Rooms may come cheap but to stay at Laiya it is compulsory to pay for meals there. Unfortunately, the food was only so-so but then you get 4 meals (buffet style) and unli juice/water the entire day (and coffee in the morning), di naman lugi. Haha. There's definitely room for improvement. You can't bring your own ulam or grill but you can bring chips and snacks.

The beach was awesome! At first I didn't like it because it was pebbley and not sandy but I learned to appreciate it. No sandy feet (and other body parts!). Be warned though, it gets very deep easily. It's more of a place to go snorkle actually. The reefs are pretty and the fish are plenty. There's also a cool rock formation on the side of the beach.

They rent out snorkles (100/ 3 hrs), kayaks (200/hr) and other stuff like jet skis and banana boats. I think they also have a sunset yacht thing.

I got a massage at a cabana at night (p250) The waves + the moon + massage = awesome.

Overall, it was a great, very chill trip. The resort was quiet and the beach was pretty. Rooms were clean and spacious. Food was just okay but the beach really makes up for everything.

Cheers to the summer and unexpected escapades.

Such a secluded area for time with the loved ones. 128077

Prices for an over nighter with full board was fair. At 5k++ for two. With free beach activities and available bike trails as well as hike trails for a very good price.

I love the cabanas that have long mats for guests either taking the day tour that aren't getting rooms and for massages by the beach.

The massage by the beach at 250 for an hour was heavenly, the combination of the sand, the smell of the ocean and a maaaaaaasssage. 128077128077

The rooms while we stayed at the annex is small and a wee bit dark but the room for two can fit a family of four. Snugly. No refrigerator though but other than that the room was good.

Food, like I said we took the full board package so it was buffet mirienda, buffet dinner, buffet breakfast and buffet lunch. And food was good! Down side was that if you want to get ice for your drinks in your room or even by the beach it costs 35pesos for a bucket of ice.

The beach. I guess depending when you go is friendly enough but if it's insanely hot like when we went jellyfish infiltrated the shores.

The photo 128070 taken from a little cliff? I guess from the end of the beach which you can climb easily to catch the best view of the place.

Over all. I was just really happy to get out of the city and escape.
