Heard many good reviews about this place here in |ooloo and since I was in the area, I thought of dropping by.

I was searching for the |ooloo window cling but apparently it was there. But when I entered, the table top thingy was seen at the counter. Because of the special use if their glass windows, (i.e. Christmas, Sinulog, Valentines, etc decorations) the manager/owner decided not to place the window cling 128533

So the place is famous for the warm brownie cups, but since I am not a fan of sweet desserts, I decided to try their mochi homemade ice cream and J tried their green tea silvanas (a bit similar to Dumaguete's sansrival). I like the mochi it was a bit larger than the usual size and I find it affordable whereas the silvanas was just okay for me 128522

I've been told that this is one of the best places to get dessert. People have been raving about their brownie cup. 128517

We tried it on a hot Friday afternoon. So how was it? Well, it was okay. Nothing really special or memorable.

But for Php100, I guess it's a good hot afternoon snack. But not something I'd come back for. 128513

Table looks nice though! 128077128077128077

I make sure that every time I visit Cebu I stop by La Marea. The café known for its warm brownie cup is a must-visit place for foodies and chocolate lovers.

Hello again, La Marea!

Since we were still full from our Maya dinner, R and I opted to share one cup of Classic Warm Brownie Cup (PHP110) and a slice of Frozen Brazo de Mecedes (PHP85) and Classic Sylvanna (PHP17.5).

First to arrive was the brownie cup. As always, it was a wonderful contrast of warm chocolate brownie and cold vanilla ice cream. It was delectable!

Next served was the frozen Brazo de Mercedes and sylvanna.

The sylvanna was nothing extraordinary and the cake was just okay. I still prefer the one I had from Spätzle.

This is a must-try in this place: Sugar-free Brownie Cup 128523 It wasn't that sweet and the coldness of the ice cream played well with the warm brownie. 128522

The brownie cups are overrated, the frozen brazo fantastic, and the caramel mango cake unmemorable. Great value though.

Craved a late night dessert and this place came through. First off, it's open late, and secondly, the classic warm brownie cup and frozen brazo de Mercedes were great! All at very reasonable prices as well.

Just ordered chewy chocolate chip cookies for Php135. It was sort of crumbly, not that chewy. Not gonna buy the same thing again. Maybe i should've bought a slice of cake. There's always next time. 128513

My friend Kim ordered their TDF choco chip cookies!! It's soft, chewy, not that sweet and not too chocolate-y. We also ordered their mochi ice cream which took 15 minutes since they had to literally dig through their chest freezer. Server was confused on what to get since I noticed the containers doesn't have labels in it. Anyway, love their choco chip cookies!! 128525

Had their famous warm brownie cup :) it's pretty much just moist brownie with a gooey center served with vanilla ice cream.
