the bf and i went out for a night walk 2 weeks ago while on vacay and decided to get coffee in albay. legazpi is lonely even on a Saturday night. 128555

i got the bf the pili frappe and i got myself an iced latte. i think they don't have an artificial sweetener so i just used brown sugar.

nothing really outstanding with our drinks. pili frappe was okay. the pili nuts gave it a twist.

place was chill. they have chairs and couches inside and a few tables outside for smokers. parking is okay. around 8 parking slots shared with a bar on the second floor and a small convenience store.

Kudos for this Pili frappiccino from La Mia! We even went to embarkadero to grab a cup of this goodness but that branch is already closed (and embarkadero is already like a ghost mall with only Biggs diner and res toe run open unlike before when this is still the IT place when you go to Legazpi ) so went asking for another branch then found this along Rizal St. Generous serving of Pili nuts which paired well with coffee like hazelnuts but this one is not in syrup but in bits so you can really taste how good their pili + coffee is.

Definitely worth the visit when you are in Legazpi. 128522128077🏻

La Mia Tazza is kinda overrated, I guess.
Most of the time, some of the flavors I order are not available. And the baristas needs more training on how to serve "nice coffee".

I am Starbucks coffee lover and I thought La Mia would satisfy my craving for coffee at least.. at least there's a coffee shop. Rather than having instant coffee, you can settle for La Mia.

This is the place where I first fell in love with coffee.. My fave hang out every time I come home to Legazpi City.. I just love the coffee here... Good ambiance, good music and the Baristas are so nice...I believe they are the first coffee shop to open in Legazpi and has been operating since 2001.. Best to try their Pili Ice Blended Coffee, and cappuccino Topped with crushed Pili...and the blueberry cheesecake is so good..Today's guilty pleasure is a cup of Cappuccino and Pili cake... 128522128522128522128522 this is life! Happy Holidays everyone! 992410052127877127877127877127876127876127881127881127873127873

During my time in Legaspi, I've been trying whatever has pili nuts in them. So, as an avid coffee drinker, I checked out La Mia Tazza, and they have Pili Cappuccino. I had to try it, which I did and it did not disappoint. The aroma coming out from the nuts was so potent, it made the cappuccino smell real good. Each sip contains bits of pili, it's great. For 108 PHP, it's definitely worth it.

In the span of my inactivity on looloo, I have visited La Mia four times, I think 128513

La Mia Tazza Cafe might be the first-ever legit cafe here in Legazpi, or even the whole province. Legit, being that it is a coffee-and-pastry haven for people who want some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the city.

My usual order here is their blueberry cheesecake. For the record, my usual order at any place which offers blueberry cheesecake--would be blueberry cheesecake. 128540 Theirs is light and creamy, unlike other cheesecakes I've tried which are mostly solid thick and chunky. But that isn't a drawback at all. In fact, theirs might as well be my favorite blueberry cheesecake. Melt-in-your-mouth goodness for only P75!

Well, that paragraph didn't have enough of the word 'cheesecake', did it?

Of course, it wouldn't be called a cafe without coffee. Being a true, blue (well, not really blue) Bicolano coffee shop, La Mia utilizes homegrown Bicolano coffee beans for their different coffee creations, which, might I add, includes their very own Pili Tazzaccino: a frappuccino topped with crushed pili, intended to deliver the nutty taste of the Bicolano delicacy. I stick to their lattes so I've never really tried the stuff. It's mostly for tourists, but hey, come get one when you happen to swing by!

They also offer pasta and sandwiches. Their chicken cannelloni is starting to become a staple for me 128513

In those recent visits, the building which houses the cafe has been under major renovations. And it's reflected inside the cafe. An unpainted cement wall. Newly installed wood framings. One time I even caught up to two workers with their hammers and whatnot. It wasn't that disruptive to the cafe's chill vibe, though, so s'all good.

Surely these constructions will give way to more restaurants, and word on the street is one of them's BonChon!! It's been long since my last BonChon meal and I do hope BonChon-Albay will bring the next 128513
