Did you know that the Visayan word Lahus loosely translates to "you can pass through and through".

Lahos is our second stop during our Caramoan escapade.  The island is relatively near Matukad.  Why the name Lahus?  The main beach is spread across the island  reaching both the eastern and western sides,  while sandwiched by picturesque rock formations to the north and south.

As per our guide,  the island is the home of coral snakes.  Locals call 'em walo-walo as individuals who gets bitten may die in a span of 8 seconds to 8 minutes.  No,  i havent seen one while we were in the island.   Coral Snakes are not territorial as the others,  they usually keep to themselves.  They are pretty though,  saw one on cable,  vibrant colors.

I am not gonna describe the water.  All of the islands in Caramoan has one thing in common - Crystal Clear Waters.  Each island in Caramoan has that one characteristic that makes them unique and incomparable.  Trust me when i say that Lahos is beautiful in its own way.
