I'm not qualified to say whether the taste is authentic or not. What I'm sure of is that I liked the Seafood Noodles - curry based laksa - that I ordered. The soup was initially too spicy for me but I got used to it soon enough. I like the right balance of curry, coconut milk and hint of tamarind in the broth made even more flavorful and tasty by spices and herbs. There's a tinge of lemon grass too.

Not bad.

First time to try this place and went for the prawn with fish cake noodles with a curry laksa soup base. It's not too spicy so you can eat it without fear of burning your tongue. The dish itself is was fairly okay but a bit short on the noodle serving. One bowl is not really enough for sharing. The price? A bit too much for me. It's an okay place for a once in a while meal.

The waiter was a bit distracted and didn't get our additional order for a hungry nephew right though.

Sad, sad excuse for laksa. I’ve had laksa instant noodles that tastes WAY better than the Prawn with Sliced Meat Noodles in Spicy Prawn Soup Base I tried here. 128529

Try Singapore brand La Mian laksa instant noodles! It's so much better than the best bowl Laksa King can offer. 128077

Thank God for iphone! I was able to capture my moments in this new restaurant I discovered.

It was a rainy evening and ramen was overrated for O and I. We both agreed to shift our ramen mindset to Laksa for the cuddle weather. While exploring and driving down the road, I was caught by the sign Laksa King! Exactly what we needed :) Of course, no more hesitations and we ate our hunger with a hot bowl of Laksa!

Seafood Laksa- top of mind order since it was a Laksa house. O and I love the huge serving that's very tasty, creamy and spicy! Nothing hindered us not to finish our bowl of steaming hot laksa. It has generous toppings like shrimps, tofu and some crabsticks. The crabsticks were a little off at first but eventually made our soup more appetizing!

Laksa King is a small noodle house with no fancy designs. Simple and straightforward!
