Best Pinakbet I've ever had!
I don't know if it's because we were in Vigan and all the Pinakbet taste really good? But this was the best Pinakbet I've ever had and I don't even like Pinakbet.

We're bound to Abuelita's restaurant for lunch upon arriving at 12:30pm, October 26, Sunday. But it was closed that day. 128531 Asked the tricycle driver where's the best restaurant around. We were drop off to a karinderia style. (I trust him on taste but I wanted an ambiance). Asked another driver for restaurant that offers bagnet and longganisa, he suggested Lampong's. The good thing here (for a 1 1/2hr lunch in Vigan) was the restaurant was at Calle Crisologo #HeritageSite

Orders take 10-15minutes to be served. We ordered Bagnet Pakbet P120, Kare Kareng Bagnet P220, Vigan Longganisa (half order) 140, and Meaty Rice with Longganisa P80 (I only like this one!)

This experience decided us not to buy Vigan Longganisa and Bagnet. It ruined our excitement.

I am with the 2 former great cooks of La Milagrosa Catering Services that still caters at Malacañang Palace. They weren't satisfied with the Pakbet and Kare-Kare. It lacks something. Vigan Longganisa has strong taste of not sure, but im a fan of sweet-style longganisa, this is not in any way sweet.

Meaty rice with Longganisa was good, can be shared by 2-3.

If you're feeling peckish yet unsure on where to eat amidst the varied options around vegan, then Lam pong's is the place for you!

Don't let the simple food plating deceive you, let the flavor do the talking. Lampong's offer quintessential Vigan 'must-try' meals like: miki soup & vigan longganisa combos (where the subtle taste of onions and the meat itself burst into a distinct laid back style) at affordable prices.

Our longsilog meal; that involves the longganisa being wrapped in an omelet served with a side of tomato slices, guaranteed to satisfy one's hunger despite the lack of rice, is priced at an affordable 60 pesos. For those who consider rice is an absolute must, Lampong's certainly has more combo options of other meat & seafood. Our longganisa rice meal cost us 90 pesos.

Lampong's not only offers the exotic, but also the tourist and family friendly 'all day' breakfast meals. Ready to serve the needs of all those hungry.
