Been here because we attended a convention. The place was comfy however on the venue of the convention there is problem with their lighting. It was not conducive because the lights were not bright so when the speaker is talking in front she was not seen very well at the back. Hope they would resolve the issue because that will affect on the over all result of the evaluation. :)

The royal lancaster cafe of lancaster hotel manila is quite good if youre check -in and want to have a little romantic dinner with your partner though not that spaciious and dramatic, the ligthings and the table set up and candles make it great, and the staff are very helpful and will really make you feel your in a 5- star hotel, though nothing exciting on their menu, i heard ther lechon kawali is a bomb so we tried and though a bit pricey for that serving but it taste like a real lechon plus the sauce really taste different!

Very accommodating staffs, good service from hotel staff to dining staffs. A place where everything is there .Nice pool esp. at night, nice city view, free news paper in the morning. Though its not a 5-star caliber hotel, the basic amenities of the room and building made it just fine to suit my needs, Location is great since its near ortigas CBD. Aircon is cool and with clean breeze. Price is cheaper when you book it online rather than doing walk-in style, the breakfast buffet on the sunday is just great!

Very nice accomodation i had last week! The junior suite I booked was awesome, it has a mini kitchen so u can cook there, mini ref, electric kettle, toaster! The room is clean and neat including the bathroom as if youre in a newly built or renovated hotel rooms, service is ok though parking lot is under renovation, there are a lot of guards that will make sure u can park your car with ease. The breakfast buffet was awesome too, from fried rice, fish, meat and there is a counter there when u can order what kind of omelet u want! Plus unlimited coffee and juice! The pool is not that big but has a scenic view coz its located in the rooftop! Dining there is also romantic plus you will surely enjoy their lechon kawali plus wifi is awesome in the room, in the lobby and in the resto :)

Stayed at Lancaster recently for a workshop and the rooms are great because it has a kitchen, decent bathroom... However, the wifi sucks. Food is not good at the hotel (lacks salt all the time) except for some of the desserts (ginataang mais was great, custards were good). They did not have all the beers they listed in their cafe menu (no Hoegaarden... Very sad... So my friend drank San Mig pale during one of the nights we were "decompressing" from work). They know how to cook their lechon kawali, though.

Parking is not ideal but it's there. The parking area is under renovation so it looks kind of chaotic.

Major upside of this place: the staff are very helpful though receptionists can improve how they manage room assignments and the like for large groups. They're all very helpful, pleasant, they will try to address your concerns as much as they can.

Another upside is: if you don't like the hotel food, you can order from restos outside and the bellhop will gladly bring your order to your room.

Great place for balikbayans who want a relatively affordable place (compared to other hotels near the area) that gives you the freedom to cook or eat what you want and still have a feel of hotel service. The fact it is close to two golf and country clubs makes it advantageous to golfer-balikbayans. Shopaholics will also have a grand time because it is a stone's throw away from Shangrila Plaza mall, Starmall and a quick ride to SM Megamall, among others.

They need service elevators though (I understand they are expanding/renovating soon to have this) because they only have three elevators working and sometimes one is out of service to accommodate deliveries or other hotel requirements... Not good especially if you're servicing over thirty floors!

So, there you are... Four stars. Good people. Facilities need improvement. Events people are very good to talk to or deal with. Will go back to this place if I needed to just shack up for a conference nearby (versus getting an expensive room at the Ortigas center area).

It's strategically located near the corner of EDSA, making it very near San Miguel avenue (just across the flyover) and other key spots in Ortigas and the San Juan area.

I expected too much because I booked for a Suite room. I was imagining something like at least the bed was separated from the kitchen but I was surprised. The stove was just 5steps away from the bed. But at least it was fairly clean and had a view of the city. So I just moved on just so I'll be able to enjoy my stay. And so for me to further relax I thought of a hot bath because there is a bathtub, but my hot bath just became a semi warm bath. After calling front desk for 15mins they transferred me over to maintenance which nobody answered and disconnected my call. So I tried again but front desk seems to be disconnecting my calls on purpose. After trying for at least 30mins to have this hot water issue with them the maintenance guy told me it was the hottest it could get. Oh well. Yeah, wifi is slow to not even working at all had the IT guy fix it for almost half the day. Pool was so small and not even inviting. All in all, not a recommended hotel. Not worth the stay. Not worth the money.

Good thing this was a treat to us by officemates. If i shed even a peso i will be really frustrated right now!

Where to begin with this horrible place?
Parking of course. First ramp is going straight to a big whole which i think is aimed directly to hell 128121128121128121 ganun kalali yung hukay. Then a sharp turn to their ala-hostel ala-insidious ala-exorcist vibe of a parking lot. It was dark, cramped, smells like garbage (paglingon namin garbage disposal pala talaga nila 128576) . Then a one way spiral ramp where you have to horn your way down or up hoping there are no cars going towards your direction.

Bfast buffet:
Imagine hotdogs but cold, imagine hotcakes but cold, imagine tocino that is cold, some omelette and fried fish. If you could do that then you could already imagine what they have to offer. Half of the buffet table is already in your mind, half of it contains a toaster that doesn't toast your bread the first time (you have to press the toaster again). A small table of salad, three fruit choices coffee and two juices. Thats about it ! Nothing in this buffet table comes close to a one star rating.

The only thing warm in this place is their dining area ( what the f127881127881127881) sa lahat naman ng iinit ung lugar pa ! Inde man lang kahit isa sa mga food.!!! Aircon was busted at that time .... 128562128565128562128565

No table napkins, water is give after a lot of us asked for it, servers reaction to all of these: meh 128530

The only saving grace is their manager who is very accommodating inspite of the whole group really showing how pissed we were with what was served and How it is being served. Manager promised a better experience next time but i doubt any smart person will be going back after this shitty experience.

I have attended birthday parties, award ceremonies & team building activities in this 3-star hotel. Decent for business & leisure purposes since it's near Starmall, Megamall, Shangrila Mall & MRT. So it was a no-brainer when I chose them for an overnight stay just to make sure that I will not miss my flight to Kalibo last week.

Rooms are spacious and have:

✔Cable television
✔Coffee/Tea maker
✔Kitchen and dining facilities
✔Individually controlled air-conditioning units
✔Safety deposit box in each room
✔IDD & NDD telephone connection
Complimentary Newspaper
✔Access to roof-deck swimming pool

Only two things I want this hotel to improve on: (1) Their complimentary breakfast buffet as I find their food selection limited. And (2) the way to their parking area is like being in a horror train since construction is on-going until NOW.128123
