Why in ???
Cebu is like my third home secondly with manila n boracay.
This is my second time to eat in larsian. Larsian is a group of street food almost like talipapa. The food was just normal but the price is like eating in a casual fine dining. Its very expensive. We are only 2 pax but our food cost 750 pesos. Man for the price of street food this is very expensive.

The place is unique and perfect for Barbeque lovers , all you have do is pick and they'll cook it.
Its not exactly a resto because they have multiple stores that sells everything mostly on stick, from pork, chicken, liempo, tilapia, squid, shirmp, isaw, chicken liver, chicken skin( my favorite and better if fried) and shirmp, the famous cebu longga and even tulya. They failed to cook my order the way i want it (not so raw) even if II informed the lady who take our orders 128078🏻 so Im not that happy in this first visit 128513. I may go back since I can still order the same menu to others stalls there.

Price: affordable -pdeng tumawad for
bulk orders128077🏼 check my orders below.

chicken skin- 10pesos/stick
isaw -5pesos/stick
cebu longga -30pesos/stick
liempo -180 per order
squid- 150 (we got it 2 for 250)
rice -5pesos/pc

Place: because there's BBQ smoke everywhere,
you dont really have to shower before you eat here

My DIY itinerary in Cebu includes a date night, not at the famed Crown Regency Hotel or an equivalent at that, but at this BBQ place named Larsian. I‘d like to take a break from fancy things once in a while, so this is a good idea. Also, one tip I always get from travel blogs to maximize your stay as well as money is to eat where the locals eat. So I took after this tip. Since our hotel is just a few blocks away from one of the main roads in downtown Cebu, Osmena Boulevard, we made sure that we won’t miss this spot. A few steps walk from the Fuente Osmena Circle and we came across Larsian. As soon as we entered, vendors are already right infront of us trying to win us to eat at their stalls/stations. They spoke in Bisaya thinking we were locals, so I went “Ate, Kuya, Tagalog lang po.” They all have good offers, like free kimchi, free 1 liter of Coke, and the like. Still, we haven’t decided on where to eat. We tried ignoring the ates and kuyas and walked around the area trying to survey which station would be best to finally sit and dine. But some of them were really persistent, we finally gave in to Kuya from the white colored tables.

Chinese chorizo, blue marlin, squid, liempo, and of course, BBQ, you name it, they have it! They’ll guarantee you everything they serve is fresh and if not, they’ll give you back your money 100%. Since I like eating at Dampa’s and banchettos around Manila, this place is a sure hit for me. Take a break from the utensils and indulge in the fun way of eating your food using your bare hands. Don’t worry, they provide plastic wraps. And I’m surprised the rice was served in an unusual manner, a handful is served in a woven green leaf (banana/coconut leaf, I guess, I’m not sure). I used to think that what’s inside is suman or rice cake. I guess I had 7-8 of those!!! 128170🏻

Again, if you dislike the idea of smelling like BBQ after eating, then this place isn’t for you. Grilling station is right in the middle and the place is a little confined, so expect to smell like that. Anyway, total damage for everything we’ve had is Php500 for 2 pax, inclusive of drinks already. Such a great deal!

So for today's dinner... we chose to eat at Larsian just cozz... ISAWWWWWW!!!! hahaha
We had a difficult time finding the place as I think we already asked 3 locals for directions but nahhhh.. they dont know. So I trusted the ever reliable waze and rode a multicab bound to Fuente, multicab with 17D sign. So upon reaching the fuente circle, you have to alight in front of BDO then walk a little then you will find this barbeque haven. Actuallyy nung nakakita ako ng usok, confident na ako na tama kami ng pinupuntahan. Hahahaha
Upon enteringgggg... Woahhh, vendors flock and they will try to win your heart to buy at their stall. We didnt had a difficult time chosing which stall, I chose the one with attractive colors but not masakit sa mata and yung malayo sa entrance plus may tv. Kaboggg. 128514128514
We ordered around 15sticks of diff bbqs like chicken liver, isawwww, spicy chorizo, chicken leg etc... personal fave was the spicy chorizo and isaw, ofcourse! The others tasted actually the same as they use same sauce for all of them.
I ate only 3pcs of puso because I had to finish the barbecues.. my friend had 5 puso and only few of our bbqs. 128514128514 Total damage was only 360php with 2 softdrinks na. They also dont have utensils so you have to use your hands, they give naman plastic to use.

DUN DUN DUN DUNNNNNN.... I SAW a BIG "JERRY" LURKING AROUND THE VICINITY. I almost died!!!!!!!! off all animals, why youuuuuu!!!!! 128545128545128545 how polite of you to show yourself after I finished eating. 128074128074 Natulala ako when I saw you, my friend asked me what's wrong as I seemed lutang but I just told her Im thinking where we can have dessert.. but deep inside, I wanna run and scream. Hahaha Should have been 4 127775 but nahhh minus 2 127775 for the not so hidden mickey. Coz it's a BIG NO NO! and i hate r*ts!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 star will do buttt I love the chorizo. Hahaha Laboooo 128514128514128514

Not for the faint-hearted. If you prefer eating with spoon and fork, peace and quiet, and aircon, I suggest going to malls instead. But if you're adventurous, this is the place for you.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was upon entering, the servers will approach you aggresively and offer you 2 liters of softdrinks for free if you eat at their station.

We decided to order from the far end para malayo sa ihawan. It's a station owned by a Korean guy. Got 2 liters of Pepsi for free but I don't drink softdrinks so I asked if they had iced tea but they only had bottled water and softdrinks. Sad. 128550

Ordered BBQ, Isaw, Chorizo de Cebu, Squid, Blue Marlin, then I forgot the name of the fish we asked them to make Tinola with. I loved the Chorizo and Squid. The squid kinda looked raw but it was cooked just right. 128522 BBQ was meh. Matigas. Isaw was not cleaned 'cause it had a foul taste inside. Tinola was great. I had around 4 or 5 rounds of puso. Hahaha! I actually wanted to order more Chorizo but my pudra just said we'd buy from the palengke para iuwi sa Manila. (Yesss!)

Our bill was around 860 pesos. Yes! For 8 adults! Very cheap! 9996

I think I enjoyed myself a little too much at Larsian. Here’s a breakdown of everything I ate: two stick of chorizo, two sticks of pork barbecue, four parcels of rice (the locals call them puso), and a bottle of mountain dew. I was about ready to burst after our dinner here! 128061

My favorite pick of the night was the chorizo. These little plump balls of pork were so juicy and flavorful! I would’ve eaten five more sticks if only I had more stomach room. They went so well with the rice I didn’t even notice I had scarfed down four parcels already. And I don’t even like rice all that much!

Eating with my hands and getting downright messy was an oddly satisfying experience. I also loved the whole ghetto ambiance of the place. It was a nice break from all hipster restaurants of Metro Manila! 9786

TIP: Picking a stall to buy from will be an overwhelming experience, mostly because all the manongs and manangs will be vying for your attention. And it’s pretty hard to choose because it seems like they all sell the same things! But I heard that it’s best to buy from the stalls with white lights because that way, you can give the meat a closer look to see if they’re fresh. It’s pretty hard to examine meat when there’s deceiving neon red light altering their color. 128077

This is a grill heaven! Affordable food and simply delish! I'm just not a big fan of pusò (rice wrapped in coconut leaves) or maybe I'm just used to eating the one cooked in a rice cooker or kaldero..hehe 128514

Busy as a bee as can be! All the good barbeque in one place! It is barbeque heaven. The food is great and affordable. Good place for food lovers along with your barkada. The stalls are arranged so as to have all the tables at the center and the grilling station at the farthest corner. The only thing that's a bit down for me is that due to a lot of stalls here most of the vendors would be the one to greet you and lead you to their respective tables sometimes very persuasively or aggressively. One can't blame them because they are just earning their living. But on the other hand, should there be an assessment so as how this matter could be addressed in the future accommodating both customer and vendor?

Very Famous restaurant in Cebu.

Larsians is very near to capitol and Robinsons.

You have to choose your own bbq, and I recommend chorizo ( taste like longganisa) and their rice is called Puso/hanging rice. There is no fork and spoon, only plastic gloves.

The famous Larsian or I must say the famous local grilled place in Cebu. It was just a typical street foods. I don't know what the hype is all about. When we went there during lunch time, it was like I was in a Talipapa because of the place was so untidy. There were just only few of us who were eating there, but during dinner or past dinner they say the people there are jam-packed. We ordered barbecue, chorizo and the famous rice in Cebu I forgot the name. I was disappointed of the taste of their barbecue, we were expecting a marinated barbecue, it will shrunk when you bite it. Also, the chorizo was burnt. It was too small for the price, not worth it. But at least we tried and experience to eat there.

Friends love to eat after drinking even we're that drunk so when I'm in Cebu I really appreciate Larsian for it's very cheap "after drinking meal" I can't find any like this here in Manila. 128557
