Craving for gambass that day so hubby and I went on a quick date in Alabang.

The staff were friendly and assisted us to our seats at once. They noticed that I was not comfortable with our table (it was near the door and was too small) so he transferred us to another table 128077🏼

Anyway, we ordered gambass and the seafood platter.
Gambass was okay and I feel that it lacks flavor. The seafood platter was also okay. We asked the staff whats the difference of the two dips that comes with it. He explained it but when we tasted it, it was just the same lol.

Celebrated here with mom just this March. We ordered

1. Paella Valenciana 100841008410084
2. Callos 10084️ too fluid
3. Churros 10084️ kinda dry
4. Frozen Brazo 1008410084️ - too sweet

But definitely loved the ambiance. 128077

First time to have dinner here. Actually i never knew that there is such place that exists until it was recommended to me by a colleague who is not even from alabang.

Authentic spanish cuisine.
Good service.
No service charge.
Paella valenciana- oh so great!!! Saffron rice cooked to perfection with a lot of seafoods and meat.

Crispy lechon kare kare- lechon kawali and kare kare hybrid. Unique and yummy.

Sangria- oh this made me tipsy.... Bona fide sangria......

There's already another branch in BF Paranaque serving your favorite Las Paellas dishes!

Just some comments:
- I miss the senior staff in the Festival Mall branch who are more attentive and who can speak Spanish 128553
- Was i just imagining it but the canonigo in the Festival mall branch tasted better! 128523
- BF Pque branch is more spacious though
- BF Pque branch ran out of churros by dinner time

I never learn from my mistake.

Feeling super hungry and didnt like to eat at the foodcourt, i decided to eat here.

Previous experiences were not satisfactory already yet i went here (Duh? Whats w me?)

I ordered the callos w rice for lunch, and upon serving to my table...i knew it wouldnt taste good :(

My taste buds were nagging me ..Why? Why? Why?

Maybe i'm a masochist who wanted to waste my hard earned money on no-good stuff or i was just freakin hungry and wanted a decent place to eat.

Anyhow, the callos tripe/beef were obviously cooked or boiled separately from the sauce as it tasted bland.

The sauce was paprika ridden and drowned everything else of flavor.

To myself "Never Again" i hope

My 2nd visit confirmed that this will be one of my fave restaurants ever! I had carbonara on my 1st visit and I'd rate it a 4 out of 5 stars. That in itself is a good sign being the white sauce pasta scrutinizer that I am!
Then comes my 2nd visit.. Friends wanted a Spanish dinner and so there goes Paella Valenciana, Lengua Sevillana, Callos and Tapas after 20 minutes or so. EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT! I'm not a paella fan but Valenciana made me go gaga over its authentic Spanish taste. Lengua Sevillana is TO DIE FOR with its superb tenderness! Callos and Tapas were wiped out by my friends as I literally didn't have space for it.
The best surprise after an amazing dinner? It didn't hurt our pockets as much as it damaged our diet! BUEN TRABAJO!
