We were already stuffed after Gibb’s but we had one more place to try in Banilad area. There’s this little cafe called The Last Course Cafe and it is the only cafe in Cebu that serves Mille Crepe Cakes! (Well, except for the one from Starbucks…) Checking on the map, it was just about 10 minutes walk, so we decided to go for it. 128569

We might have walked a little longer because we were in slow motion, having been super full from our meal in Gibb's Hot Wings Streetscape. The location of The Last Course Cafe is basically right across Sto. Niño Village in Banilad. 128568

We practically owned the whole place when we got there. I remember I wanted to try the Matcha Crepe Cake in Paper Moon in Manila but they ran out so we ended up having the Ube. (Which turned out to have worked really well!) Anyhoo, the crepe cake flavors remaining when we got there were Matcha Green Tea, Ube and Mango. I wanted to try 2 flavors but J said it might be too much. He was actually right. 128569

We went for the Matcha Green Tea and I actually loved it! I could really taste the Matcha! 128571 There are a lot of dessert places coming up with Matcha green tea products and some of them are more of the me-ma type... (Me-magawa lang, nilagyan lang ng green food coloring Matcha na hahaha 128569...) The Last Course's Matcha Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake was moist and flavorful, with a bold roasted tea leaf flavor and had just the right sweetness! The texture was really good too, and it was actually a very pretty cake! 128571

I would love to come back and try other flavors of their Mille Crepe Cakes, even some of their other food items. 128568
