I tried the gorgonzola with honey (Php 85) first so I decided to try their original (Php 80). I still prefer the first one better but it’s still good.

Cheese tarts are in and expect more food entrepreneurs to bank on this current interest. Pablo may have ignited it and Lava could sustain it altogether.

It’s original cheese tart sells at Php 80. Its crusts firm enough to hold the really soft, almost melted cheese inside it. The Gorgonzola Cheese with Honey variety at Php 5 higher has the same elements but its taste was bolder with nice contrast of sweetness.

I also got to sip fresh Buko Juice at Php 50 while enjoying my twin tarts. Not bad for a snack combination.

I fell in love with it at first bite. I got gongorzola & honey (Php85) and it was divine! I could finish a box it's pricey but worth it. Cheesy creamy goodness in every bite. 10084

Moaaar cheese tartssssss!

Decided to grab two original tarts and one honey and gorgonzala all packed in a nice red box. Each one was 85 php.

The stall doesn't have seating so you have no choice but to haul your tarts elsewhere and prolong your face-stuffing. 128514128514128514 Or you could also just eat them as you stroll, no judgement haha.

I tried the original first. By the time I got around to biting into it, the cheese center had already settled and the texture wasn't liquid-y. Cheese taste was sharp while the crust was quite crumbly. The gorgonzola one presented a stronger flavor hit followed by the sweetness of the honey drizzled on top. I liked this one better than the original.

Yummy cheese tarts for take-out! I love how soft the center while the outer shell almost crumble on my last bite. Sadly, their Megamall branch doesn't offer coffee and tables to dine.

A piece of heaven here on earth! That's just the first thing in mind when I get to taste Lava Cheese Tart. I know I'm quite late over the cheese tart craze. I'm glad that they opened a stall in SM Megamall (Bldg A, near National Bookstore)

Right after work last Thursday, I went straight to Megamall. No queue when I dropped by at around 6 PM.

These delicious treat costs P80 per piece. Well, quite pricey for a little piece. But, for the experience I bought 3 pieces (to share woth my mother 128522). You can buy it per piece, but for 3 orders & up, it will be placed in a box. I ordered 2 Original and 1 gorgonzola (toppped with honey).

Cheese tarts were perfectly baked to golden brown outside and inside, its rich and gooey. Read that Lava suggests 4 ways to enjoy: Molten ( fresh out from the store), Frozen ( just like ice cream), Chilled ( out of the fridge) or Hot ( from toaster or microwave)

Verdict: Love the rich "cheese" taste that melts in your mouth. Mild taste that lingers.. no "umay" factor kind of taste. Crust is baked to perfection. On first though it may seem to be pricey, but compared with other brand, Lava has a competitive pricing. Quality taste to satisfy the tastebud. Will definitely go back and reward myself with this kind of goody.

Newly opened and there was a long line before lunch. Passed by around past 8pm and the line was manageable. They only have 2 variants: Original and Gorgonzola & Honey. Tried both. The cheese custard was a bit runny and ended up mostly on my hands. It was tasty but was expecting it to taste really cheesy. The crust was crumbly just like lord stows.
