Yesterday, Annechile S and I went to this awesome place, The Lazy Bastard! We were immediately greeted with a smile. Good thing we're early and I think we're the first customers for the day.

I got the Bacon Cheese Burger with Tots and Calamantea (310Php). The burger was great and the bacon made it fantastic. The tots was really good. You can really taste the real potato just like their fries. The calamantea was refreshing. I wish they have a bottomless option. 128514

She got Honey Parmesan Dog and I had a bite. This was the OMG experience! I wasn't expecting that the dog would taste like that. It was marvelous. The best dog ever! This is something that I will go back for.

Been wanting to try their food for a while now, but the place is just too far for me. Finally, our feet brought us to UP Town Center. 128512

I ordered:
| Honey Parmesan Dog (200php) added (90php) for the sides, chose fries and calamantea.

The cashier had me at bacon wrap and arugula, who would have thought that I would find arugula on a hotdog meal. It was really, really good! It was love at first bit! 10084️ Yay! The fries were a little overcooked, but I didn't mind as it was flavorful. Didn't ask for a salt to flavor it. The calamantea was super good!!!! Refreshing!

Jonathan R ordered Bacon Cheese Burger (220php) and he also added sides. He chose tots and calamantea.

I had a bite on the burger and it was good too! I really tasted the bacon and the patty was really flavorful. The tots were good as well. We dipped them in mayo, additional calories lol but worth it.

The staff were attentive and nice. They were smiling when we placed our order and also when they served it.

The place was a little small, as it's in the cinema floor, but it became jampacked in no time. We got lucky that it wasn't busy yet when we got there, we got to enjoy the place for ourselves for a little bit.

It was a really nice and filling meal. Thank you, Lazy Bastard. Until then!

CMA and I had a mini food crawl at UPTC last Saturday and Lazy B is one of the joints we visited.  This wasn't planned as we have been to Lazy B x number of times.  He was craving for potatoes.  Uhmmm, potatoes...let us see.  I ain't sure if there are steak places in the vicinity.  Then it hit me...potatoes = fries = Lazy Bastard

Craving is synonymous to binge eating.  Why do i say this,  you ask... Well,  we got a boatload of potatoes.

Tater Bombs x Fries.

True to its name...ze tater bombs is the BOMB!  These are potatoes wrapped in bacon....  Gah!  This is delightfully sinful.   The fries is awesome as expected,  this ranks number one of my list.

Peace Out!

I was literally lazy AF yesterday as I woke up at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Talk about 16hrs of sleep.

Anyway, my high school friends texted me for a Doctor Strange movie date. However I already watched this with Cindy S and Edison A last Saturday, so I sadly said no. But since I don't want to miss our biweekly bonding, I joined them for dinner and yes, for another movie - Ouija. LFS at U.P Town Center at 9:40pm, I found myself queueing for 50php milkshake from Lazy Bastard at 9:25pm. They have this promo for yesterday only. The line was not that long considering that this is a great deal. Since I don't want to be late for the movie, they offered to just deliver my milkshake to the cinema. My first impression was wow. Good customer service they have there. After 30min of watching, still my milkshake is nowhere to be found. Another 30min, still none. I asked my friend to follow up. Then my order arrived 15min after. I had their chocolate milkshake and it was delicious. They were right. It was thick AF. I loved its consistency, and sweetness. It is the milkshake that can make you fat in an instant, but you'll still drink it as it's yummy. If only this arrived earlier than 1hr and 15min, I would have given this review a higher rating.

I think Lazy Bastard's branch here is bigger than its counterpart in Makati. It can accommodate more hungry diners. Of course their famous Long Live Bacon sign is still there. I would definitely be back for their burgers and hotdog sandwiches.

P.S. They also served Vanilla milkshake yesterday.

LONG..LIVE..BACON!

Lazy bastard is a ridiculous comfort food, located here at the new building of UPTC near the cinemas. For the most ridiculous, greasy, delicious comfort food in the Philippines.

I've been hearing a lot of Lazy bastard and everytime I go to UP Towncenter I'm always curious about it and finally last September 25 finally tried it before going home.

Had this Honey Parmesan Dog🌭 Forget the diet! Damn so good. Perfectly paired 128077 Shaved Parmesan, local honey drizzle and arugula. This is a bit fancy-pants, we know and paired with onion rings and Calamansi Iced Tea but it's so good! It cost around 200-300 but it's totally worth it! Love the onion rings, so hot , crispy and big!

Guess what? They are even accepting food deliveries when you will watch the movie at UPTC, you can ask them to deliver it to you at the cinema, considering this one when I watch movie at UPTC coziest haven't tried it yet.

Very satisfied, surely want to come back and their hotdogs is a winner!🌭128077

Love the set-up of this place but their milkshakes are a rip off 128557 I hope they used like really good quality ice cream for it because I paid P160, but still wasn't good. ☹️

Plus it took awhile to get to us in the cinema.. there was no other customer na nga the time we went.

Saturday night.  Albeit the bipolar weather,  we found ourselves at UPTC.  A visit is not complete without grabbing some grub at Lazy B.

I introduced him to Lazy B and he is now hooked.  I take all the blame.  We are both addicted to their fries.  What's mind-boggling is that,  there is nothing special about the fries,  it looks ordinary but for some reason we cant stop munching on them.

He likes the cheeseburger as well.  I didn't take a bite as i was busy devouring the plate of fries.  He said the the bun is yummy, they  use brioche buns perhaps.  To complete the meal,  he opted to get a drink that would clog our arteries -  Vanilla Milkshake.  This is love at first sip.  Smooth,  creamy and oozing with vanilla goodness.  You know what's the best part,  it is not too sweet!

Be warned.  This is not gonna be my last review of Lazy B,  we will swing again.  I had my eye on the totchos and tater bombs.

It's so good to be back home! Manila, in spite of your horrendous traffic, there is still no other place I can call home compared to you! 128571

The BF and I wanted to try the new cinema in UP Town Center so we set a movie date night there. I arrived a bit late than was agreed because of the traffic, so we didn't have much time for a long sit down dinner. We decided to eat in Lazy Bastard instead, which is right next to the cinemas already. I must say, location was very well thought off! 128568

We asked the waitress her recommendations on their bacon wrapped hotdog sandwiches and she mentioned the Avocadog and the Honey Parmesan Dog. I wanted to try the Chili Dog too, but for some weird reason I wanted to try the one with avocado more. 128569

The Avocadog was really good! The bacon wrapped hotdog was nicely cooked, but tends to be salty. This is perfectly offset by the avocado with a hint of creaminess of the rich fruit. It was a well thought of dish! The Honey Parmesan Dog was delicious too! The flavor of the parmesan cheese chips is heightened with the honey and compliments well with the bacon wrapped hotdog. The hot dog buns they used were apparently buttered brioche buns and it was absolutely delicious and soft. 128571

We availed the combo, both with their Calamantea and a choice of side dish. The drink was so refreshing, and it had kind of a brewed taste from the tea. I really loved this! For sides, I had the Onion Rings and the BF had Tater Tots. Both were kinda greasy, but well seasoned with salt. They were also very generous in serving size for this, so I'm not complaining! 128568

All in all, we were actually surprised to be full, and ready for the movie! It was a nice experience and we will definitely come back to try the other recommended items! 128571

I've read mixed reviews on this place and I'm glad that I didn't need to travel all the way to Jupiter to finally try them out. After the long wait.. my verdict? They're just okay, and truly, not the best there is. We opted for the chili dog; we liked it but the hotdog was a bit tough and overcooked. The onion rings were drenched in oil and needed more seasoning. Overhyped, in my opinion.128563

Lazy Bastard.  I am absolutely in awe of your fries.  These fried babies are so addicting,  i can finish one order in less tham 20 minutes.

There is nothing special in the fries,  it's fried and lightly salted.  That's the beauty of it all,  how a simple dish can taste this good.

Lil Bastard is mediocre.  I've had better,  what's commendable about this baby is tge serving size is ideal for those who has a smaller appetite.

Finally, no more travelling to Jupiter for a decent burger!
Though this time around, felt the need for a change and ordered the Good Morning Dog.

Apparently, its normally topped with a sunny-side egg, but I asked it to be scrambled instead - which goes well with a smothering of mustard, Tabasco, and mayo.

Food is okay as usual but the neat thing really is the assortment of toppings you can possibly put in your burger/hotdog.128076

So the extended family went to watch ICe Age at UP Town Center for the first time. I decided not to join them and just eat while waiting for them. I tried Lazy Bastard since I was also feeling really LAZY! I ordered their burger LiL' Bastard combo which came woth a canned soda and onion rings. The burger costs 120 and you add 90 to make it a combo. The birger was quite small, more of a slightly bigger burger mcdo. The taste was okay. The onion rings was served in a brown paper bag and well it lacked the taste and was a bit oilier than I expected. Good thing there was a mayo, catsup and mustard condiments readily available plus the huge Tabasco Bottle! The review may sound a bit low in rating but I think their specialty is their hotdogs. I will give them a try again since they are on its soft or rather say "still lazy launch". Oh yeah the bug that crawled on to my plate after finishing was also an understatement. Sorry for this review but I will still be back to give it another chance.

I had to teleport to QC to rendezvous with Lazy Bastard.  Odd eh?  I didn't know that they have a branch at UPTC and they share the same floor as Manila Creamery.

Dinner at Lazy B then.  Not much options for ze burgers,  they only have Lil Bastard.  Understandable as they are on soft opening.  Good thing they have a couple of options for hotdogs.

Lil Bastard for him and chili dog for me.  We opted to get the combo meal as the greasy meal wont be complete without more grease.  Fries and soda and we got ourselves a trifecta of unhealthy eating.  I initially ordered Calamante but the chick manning the counter said it wasn't available albeit the big ass mason jar strategically placed on the counter.  I couldn't decipher her answer.  I appreciate the fact that the crew is trying their best to communicate in English to cater to the Hipster crowd but speaking in Tagalog is fine if this will aid in explaining stuff clearly.  I figured the iced tea-ish liquid inside the mason jar aint iced tea (pun intended) I picked Sarsi.  She then said it wasn't available as well.  And what do you know,  there were stacks of 'em stashed below the counter.  If you are of average height,  you will not miss it.   I politely pointed that it is available and all she has to do is to turn her head and look down.

Okay,  ordering food is excruciating.  We got a table and patiently waited.   Food was served in a couple of minutes.  Both the burger and dog is placed inside aluminium foil whilst the fries in brown paper bags.  I like their choice of crockey.  The white thingy that you usually see in local movies,  the kind that Lupe and her paralytic mom used in Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig.

The chilidog is huge,  good for two people.  Generous servings of chili con carne which is by the way not spicy enough for ze Dragon Lady.  Thr dog wrapped in bacon... Jesus H.  Christ!  (i mean no offence,  Altar Boys and Girls).  The dawg was so good,  Boo!  But it can get a lil cloying after you're halfway through.  This is when i realized that the dog was a lil salty.  The fries is the "tanggal umay"  element.  They were good,  those deep fried little buggers...hmmm...crispy and lightly salted.

Lil Bastard is just okay.  He said,  the caramelised onions saved the day.  The burger patty is not remarkable,  he said Snack Shack is still king.  On the bright side,  he said that the size of the burger is ideal -  no burger coma after and it will satiate burger cravings sans the guilt.

Three stars for now,  Lazy B! i believe in second chances.   Food is good,  the services is not as bad and needs a lil tweaking.
