I think this is chicken turnover? 128517 Not sure, but the filling is chicken! 127831

I was absent at the office yesterday and I was surprised that one of my officemates gave me this. 9786️ hihihi I feel so special cos I usually get free food from them aside from the client. Haha. Perks of being the "only girl" at work. 128077

Crunchy soft texture but you'll only taste "bread" on the first two bites-- no filling yet. Hahaha. 128541128530 Filling has big chicken chunks but it's too bland for my tasting and a bit dry also. 9786️ Anyway, still thankful because it's free! Little things. 128584128522

Mi favorito, their PASTA SALAD. For people who are into dieting; better try this bowl of cold pasta. With sliced chicken chunks and big cabbages on the sides. They have the sweet mayo sauce for the twisted pasta 128513

My mom's favorite bakeshop! Haha, they give "buy one take one" during weekends and holidays. And give discounts during mall closing hours. Okay, so what I'd recommend you to munch on? Try their Milk Bread (buy a loaf), their Baguette (with pesto spread), order for their Pasta Salad (cold pasta with veggies) they serve coffee with free cookies too! Their turn-overs are the best! Better get the Chicken On Mushroom flavored one! Try their danish breads too!

We were early for our appoinment at Nail Tropics so we decided to eat a light dinner. (supposedly haha)

We ordered the Baked Penne with Hungarian Sausage and Three Cheeses and the White Choco Bacon Crisp Croughnut. The penne was okay. I liked the sausage but the penne was splitting in half when forked and the cheeses were almost not found. The croughnut was not flaky and a bit hard but the bacon and white choco was okay, nice combo! I think I would really like this if it were freshly made. 128527

Is it just me or do my cronuts/croughnuts(??) look squished as compared to what others got? Lol I still have yet to try Wildflour's but I was attracted to the flavors from this place. It was almost closing time and I wanted to give it a shot.

The glazed bacon flavor was okay. Kinda meh since I still find it weird to eat sweet things with meat 128046128055 I liked the other one though since I love berries and there was cream cheese in between the dough.

I find it a bit small for 89 pesos but then again since I got two that pretty much amounts to one whole cro

After trying out Wilfdlour, my cronut standards have increased. 128517

This smores cronut looked so much better in the picture (as do all products)! Lacked flavor, lacked sweetness, lacked flakiness, lacked everything!

I don't know why I even suggested that we try this. 128563

Italian Beef Turnover for takeout. It was buy1-take1 so good deal for less than P100.

My problem was that it was served cold, I forgot to ask them to re-heat because the girl in the register hates her job so much and was so mataray to everyone. The old lady in front of me almost threw a fit at her.

I was planning to consume it on the drive home but because it was cold I just saved it until I get home to pop it in the microwave.

Nope, I didn't try Le Coeur's croughnut because I've seen bad reviews. Instead, I went for the buy one, take one (around 7pm) fresh fruit tart :) not bad! Dessert for 2 for only P65!

We also ordered Black Truffle Cream Linguine with Rosemary Chicken (P300 with iced tea) which is also good but some may probably find it pricey. The pasta is bland but the chicken is oppositely tasty. Just ask for parmesan cheese and you're good.

At long last was finally able to taste the cronut. At 89 a pop, it's kind of over priced for me. I like the custard filling in the bread. The chocolate chips are kind of clumped together with chocolate as well which is good 128525 It was still a bit chewy when I got home hehe 128516

This is weird, I thought I already submitted a review with their Double Belgian Chocolate and Parmesan. Anyway, here it goes! 128517

When we first tried their Mixed Berries, I liked it! And i was really happy when I saw that there's Parmesan and Chocolate available. 128513

I thought I will like it since it's Chocolate. But no. Twas just okay. I dunno. I prefer the Parmesan than the chocolate. I love the combination of cheesy salty and sweet flavor it has. For some reason, it's more makunat than the first time I tried their Cronuts. I had a hard time eating it already. I liked the Mixed Berries most!

Oh well, atleast I tried. On Saturday, I will hunt for more cronuts! 128516

This is the Cronut champion for me❗ (So far) 128077128540

Each piece is P89 which is quite reasonable since its slightly bigger and more filling. I tried their chocolate flavored one. Grabbing it with my hand, I immediately noticed that this cronut is baked with much precision and love. 10084
As I sunk my teeth in through the layers of this deep fried croissant, the flavors of the chocolate chunks and the cream filling explode with much exuberance.

There were no lines and no pre ordering. I just walked in and I got my cute little Cronut within 3 minutes. I don't understand how can anybody NOT notice their entire display shelf filled with deliciously baked Cronuts. They also have a blueberry flavored one which I still have to try out.

It's also a matter of personal preference. Their Cronut has a more "mainstream" taste. Wildflour's has a more "homemade" taste. While Chatime's has a more "fast food" taste.
It proves that the most expensive is NOT always the best. 128539

Overall, this is the best Cronut for me. It's cheaper. It's easier to get. It's easier to eat. It has just the right amount of sweetness without overwhelming your taste buds. It's baked better as well. Go check it out and see what I mean. 128523128556

I dont know how to bake, but I know if it doesnt taste good.

I cant understand the taste. And this is not the taste that is memorable. It was like meeeeh.

It was hard. I think its a leftover of yesterday's display, considering that we were the first customer.

-2 points because the ate was masungit. My friend, who is allergic to strawberries, asked her what berries are included in the mixed berries. She just said "madami eh" and turned her back on us. Rude.

And the search for the best Cronut continues...

Le coeur de france's version is more chewy (i wouldn't say tough) but it was pretty good for me.

My first of the Croughnut/Cronut craze. For only 89 php i tried this one. Is the cronut really a bit macrunut? (Makunat? Get it?) it was in the middle of chewy and tough to eat but hey, I found it really delicious. It was room temperature and the cream cheese is a bit melted. Yummy combo of the berry jam and the cheese. It was dripping when I was walking cause when i bite on it it drips on the other side. I think this one is decent enough. I wanna try the Wildflour version though.

Ugh. Their croughnut is hard to eat. Its feels like biting into rubber. 128547 The cream and whatever it is they put tasted nice but the bread is just too tough. Doughnuts and croissants are never that hard. Lol.

Trying out the Croughnuts at Le Coeur de France. They bake their cronuts so they're not oily. It's like eating rubber though. Blech.
