1. They should wash and wipe their plates well, super stinky, we had it replaced, same thing.
2. I ordered beef brisket noodle soup, can't eat the brisket, so I ordered beef flank on the side hoping it'll be tender but BIG NO.

One of the better vietnamese restaurants in the Metro. Service was a bit slow but the food is great. The spring rolls were average but the Seafood Pho was excellent. It looked like sinigang at first but once you taste the soup, it was heaven. The squid heads and the grilled ribs were also tops. But my most favorite was the seafood rice. Cooked perfectly, it was very flavorful which was made more interesting was the crunch you feel after each bite. It was like having my favorite tutong rice mixed into the recipe. This place is a winner!

My friends and I had dinner here a week ago. We were all hungry and deciding which resto to try was very difficult given the budget we each had.

The appetizing menu was what made us try this place.

We had:
Beef soup noodles -- 128076
Steamed fish with soya sauce
Beef with lemon grass -- it was among the two best sellers (between the bbq ribs), the waitress who took our order suggested that this is much tastier and good for our group of 6. The taste was okay except the meat was a bit hard to chew.

The service was fast. The staff were attentive to our needs. Overall taste was okay.

We just didn't like the food. AT ALL. The seafood soup was just awful.

Their service was quick though.

Their salted-chilly baby back ribs were good. The spring rolls and their special beef noodles were ok and filling. But I had better.

For a Resto in the classy section of SM Aura, this place falls short - in taste and in customer service. Your regular Vietnamese Resto like Pho Hoa and Pho Bac have better tasting noodles and sprig rolls. For the whole duration of our meal, not one of the service crew smiled. They looked tired and unhappy.

The pomelo salad was the biggest disappointment for me. As an appetizer, they served it last - about almost an hour after I ordered it. We were halfway done with our meal when they placed it on our table. The taste? The pomelo was dry and bitter; the fish sauce they used was not the premium kind. It tasted like your regular patis - too salty for this salad.

Will I come back? No. Unless the owners improve their dishes and train their staff on better customer service.

We were choosing between Tamarind or Le Family. We chose the latter.

We had their Grilled Prawns. How can you not nail a prawn? It was tough and tasteless, except when I added vinegar to it.

Their Seafood Fried Rice was just bad. No seafoody kick but rather charred.? They mixed some rice crispies but it didn't help at all. Was I eating sand? No flavors and you get these weird crackles.

We also had their Crispy Squid for appetizers but it was just Calamari. I hope they didn't change the name when they can't live up to it. The batter was too soft and chewy.

Lastly, their Baby Back Ribs. Mercy. All bones. Bulalo?

Not worth even typing a sentence. When we came here we read the reviews but wanted to give the place a chance but lo n behold! Looloo reviewers were right! The food seemed like it was cooked three times today and served warm just so they can call it "freshly cooked". The food we ordered were bland, didn't have any hint of vietnamese and the service was very poor. I will never doubt the viewers here again. Lol! This was one of the worst places I've ever eaten in a restaurant set-up. Sayang! Sobra!

I read the reviews- but I was really craving for fresh spring rolls so we still tried. The fresh rolls had cabbage 128516, the peanut sauce wasn't yummy, the deep fried spring rolls we got for my toddler who loves anything crunchy wasn't able to eat it because it was rock hard and the beef
Pho was bland. Thank goodness for their sriracha sauce- it made the soup better.

P.s. Whoa- too much backlog I wrote 10 tonight! 128516

Vietnamese Sunday lunch with family

I liked what I ordered.. The rest were just ordinary

I ordered the set meal... But what kind of set meal is this? No drinks. I thought it was a set.

I ordered the roasted chicken 'set' meal. I like the tenderness of the poultry. The rice is with coco milk. The egg was plain sunny side up. Atchara on the sodes was too sour (i really dont eat atchara.. It was my first)

I also ordered pork roll... Weird. The wrap was neither crispy nor fresh... The pork was plain.

All orders: broccoli with garlic, pho, chicken salad, ... Ordinary.

The best thing was just the venue.

Service was bad too. Because they keep on forgetting what u tell them.. Besides, they only have 2 servers? 3?

I rarely give out bad reviews for any restos but this was a lil bit too much to shove under the rug.

We ate here today and tried their food. I hace so much qualms about service and taste.

First, the steamed chicken was bland. Altho the sauce was good, the chicken didnt have any taste at all. Be it salt or pepper, nada. It was disappointing after getting a taste of the chicken's sauce. The entire meal was dependent on the flavor on the sauce. Paired with plain rice,it was just too bland.

Second, the Grilled fish. After about 20mins we followed up our order because it was taking a tad bit too long. A waitress told us the food would come out after 2 mins. Seriously, the food came out after about 10mins after her notice. Okay, i guess the cooking time took too long, but what makes me cringe is the wrong advertisement on their menu. The grilled bbq fish on their menu looked like a fillet fish steak thats good for 1-2persons. Prior to ordering, we asked what fish was used.we were informed it was red tilapia. What came out was a thin fish. Something you wont consider as a large fish but not small naman. It was disappointing to see picture on menus that differ from the actual plate.

Third, they obviously forgot about the honey chicken we ordered. The first waitress we asked said that in a few minutes time, food will be served. But again, it didnt. We followed up our orders again. Until the waitress said, "it is being rushed already, would it be okay to wait a few more minutes? Or would you like to cancel your order?" Ofcourse we cancelled. Food was not worth waiting for at all.

We finished lunch still feeling hungry because of really really bad food succession. This was just too much to let go. We waited longer than actually eating. Food was cold before the order was completed. Even eating a few bites here and there didnt do it.

We left very disappointed.

Dining here is clearly one of the worst restaurant experiences i had.

Fresh shrimp spring rolls 128548 who the hell uses cabbage in a spring roll? It wasn't even sliced well and all i could taste was cabbage! Their peanut sauce was also a bit sour.

Their barbecue honey chicken was tolerable but the dipping sauce was.. I don't know. Di talaga bagay.

The prawn in sugarcane? Didn't taste like prawn at all.

We also ordered pomelo salad and chicken salad. It was okay, but nothing remarkable about it.

And our fried rice with seafood came AFTER all our viands. It had these rice krispies in it and it was not good. It didn't taste fresh!

Would never dine here since there were so few people inside, but then we had senior citizens with us and lining up at Todd English or Ramen Nagi was clearly out of the question. I was supposed to treat everyone for dinner but i had such a bad experience that i opted not to pay for it. I didn't want na manlibre lalo na if it wasn't a good meal.

My brother and i barely ate because we couldn't really stomach the food. 128530

I didn't expect to like this place but I was pleasantly surprised! 128516 after trying their pomelo salad and beef in lemon grass. They were really delicious and not expensive too. I didn't like the prawn in tamarind sauce though (despite being one of their best sellers). The sauce didn't meet my expectation, it tasted weird and not much hint of tamarind in there. Really disappointed 128532 as i really love tamarind and was so eager to have this dish.

Love their authentic vietnamese cuisine. Fresh shrimp, beef noodle, fried baby squid, margarine prawns, seafood fried rice, chicken wings, salted fish fried rice.
