I'm not an expert on food but I am definitely a foodie and meticulous with my meals. I use natural salt (sea salt, Himalayan) , ask waiters to serve me room temp water (no ice please!) and request that there is no magic sarap or any artificial cubes on my orders.

I think that this restaurant is probably the best the island has to offer when you compare to all the others we have tried. The penne was cooked al dente and the pesto was actually really good and tasty. I was told the chef/owner is a foreigner, French I believe. The Napoli pizza disappointed me because the flour used tasted stale :( Fries were ok but i think were bought ready to fry from the grocery (most likely in Cebu). When we came back for breakfast, I gave instructions to make my pancakes thin, crepe-like and was given 3 thick blobs, like the waiter didn't understand what I said.

Overall I would recommend this place for most of your meals if you visit Bantayan. Better than the others.
