Its been a while since we last dine in here and im happy that the le petit souffle that used to be my favorite restaurant has its groove back, back to 5 stars as it should be. As from past reviews, ive noticed that quality was going down but its good that its all back to what its used to be.

When we arrived at century mall, i went here to have a reservation for 9pm and requested to be seated somewhere wherein my nephew stroller can fit in and was given a very comfortable area. 128512128512128512

The food qere fantastic, haha, i seldom used that word but it really does.

Pork Bourgnani - im sure its spelled wrong but im very sure that it was the best dish that night coz it was so tender and the taste of wine blend in well with the meat.

Seafood squid ink rice - Our favorite that even it stains my shorts, i didnt mind. Squid, scallops, and mussels were really fresh and tasty. Yum

Japanese beef curry souffle - it takes a while to be served but it was really good. Legit japanese curry.

Matcha Latte with softee - nice portion of matcha, and its portion was normal unlike at megamall. Softee was really goooood. 128154

Matcha roll cake - ill fill u in on this, the cake was really really gooooood. Not on menu.

Gone are the days when this is an instant 5 star from me. Went here around 9pm, ate server wants us to sit on the high table but since im with family and my mother isnt comfortable with high chairs we politely decline, and instead told her that we shall wait instead, the server told us that she cant guarantee what time other tables would be finish but we said its ok and she repaeat the same line again, now it seems something is odd. Good thing after few minutes their manager went back at us and told us 1 table is clearing. 128522

After we took our seats a bunch of people went on queue... uhmm... lol. Anyway, the usual favs we ordered.
1. Squid ink rice,we found there was a plastic like substance, we have it redone instead manager told us its fried egg but im pretty sure it aint fried.

2. Japanese curry beef rice was awesome.

3. Matcha latte with softee .... since my last outing here the matcha aint look good so i have it seperate instead. Matcha softee looks kinda small and the matcha latte.had too much ice on it. Starbucks like ice. And the bottom part of the drink was kinda coarse.

In terms of food quality they have to up the ante for the squid ink rice. Its not the same as before.

Right after lunch at Little Tokyo, I decided to bring my cousins here. We (excluding Ony) are all MATCHA lovers and this was the only "decent" matcha place in Makati that I can think of (Matcha addicts!!! Where else can we get Matcha in Makati/BGC?? 🤗128154).

Plus, I still haven't tried their desserts so I was excited to finally get to try some! 🤗

We loved the MATCHA PARFAIT (220) as we can really taste the matcha flavor. Not too bitter nor too sweet. Loved the creamy texture, as well. Just not a fan of the other things they added (i.e., beans, jelly, etc.). Except for the pretzel sticks! Hahaha! I'll just get the plain one next time.

We also tried the MATCHA SOUFFLÉ PANCAKE (180). Was supposed to order the mahal na soufflé but since mahal siya and we're still full, we just ordered this one. Para lang matry. Hmm, it was good. It's not the fluffy super soft pancake I was expecting. Not super wow but I still liked this one. This is better with the honey? and the white milky syrup. 128517

Service was good. It was fast and all of the servers were helpful, approachable, and nice. 128077🏼

This has been looooong overdue review! 9996🏻 The ever great organizer, Roegan T planned this "event"

We had dinner after the movie, he chose this resto since I haven't tried it and well, I trusted his taste. 128514128527128586

We ordered their supposedly best seller - Foie Gras Mac and Cheese (P695) but I was a bit disappointed. I think the foie gras didnt match the mac and cheese. But mac and cheese alone was ok.

Since I love curry, we tried the Japanese Beouf Curry (495) and it was soooo good! 128076🏼🤤

For dessert, we had their matcha souffle pancake with milk and I love it too! For only P180

I would commend their customer service. I like how the staff communicate with the customers. I also like the cozy feels inside the resto! 128516128525

Thank you again for the invite! 🤣

Le Petit Soufflé will forever be one of my favorite restaurants. Nothing really compares to amazingly good food, classy and homey ambiance plus impeccable service. A French and Japanese bistro, I'd say Le Petit Soufflé definitely made their mark.

Had lunch here last Saturday when I met up with my officemates. It was their first time to try Le Petit and I was just happy to bring them here. The place only had one customer aside from us when we arrived so we got to enjoy the cozy ambiance to ourselves.

We were famished so we immediately ordered for food:

🍽 Carbonara Soufflé

This is one of their newest items that was not on the menu on my last visit so we surely had to try it. Something new for all of us. Aside from being seriously instagrammable, the pasta was downright delicious! Cooked al dente, it was flavorful, rich and creamy! I loved the creaminess of the carbonara "cloud". Our server told us that we had to mix the "cloud" thoroughly to the pasta to fully enjoy it. And we did just that!

🍽 Squid Ink Rice

Never leave Le Petit without ordering this one. This is a must in every visit! An assortment of fresh seafood–shrimp, squid, scallops, mussels–on top of fluffy scrambled eggs and perfectly cooked squid ink rice, this dish is absolute heaven!

🍽 Strawberries and Cream Pancake Soufflé

Le Petit is known for their desserts, being one of the people behind it is none other than Chef Miko Aspiras, IMO the most celebrated pastry/dessert chef in the country today. If this alone don't tempt you into ordering dessert, I don't know what will. 128514 Their pancake soufflés are always a delight! It's so fluffy and soft and melts in your mouth, the fresh strawberries together with the creme anglaise is just mouthwateringly good! We were tempted to order another one! 128514

Overall, it was another awesome visit for me. And I'm happy to have recruited my officemates! Service is always amazing, our food attendant was nothing but very accomodating and friendly. Ambiance is 💯! So... until my next visit! ♥️

What happen to my fav resto in the metro?? Just as im a fan of cavs last year, suddenly find myself on warriors side and in this case rather than a mere 3 stars, i decided to give this visit 2.

Our fav squid ink, we order it in 2. And both taste different, one had gooey egg while the other was normal, overall taste was inconsistent. Very disapppinting.

Japanese curry rice, egg was too fluffy with less rice below.

Matcha, oh, this made all the difference in ratings, macha latte was 80% ice while that didnt help in keeping the softee afloat. Somebody call baywatch as the softee look its drowning. Oh i prefer that mug that was used before.

Service was so so, i wont go into detail but where are the previous ones?

Someone from the staff ask us about the feedback and we gave them an honest opinion but we only got the response "yun lang ba?". Whattt.

Overall, very much different from the le petit that was an instant 5 stars.

[Intro to the introduction: It's my 3rd post for the day, and 23rd review here on looloo! 127881 Also, today (3/23) also happens to be our second anniversary! Cool, right? The numbers seemed to be so well-calculated. 128586 So anyway. This is a special anniversary post, so expect it to be lengthy; but I hope you'll read it anyway because this is actually the best new restaurant we've tried this year, as of this writing!]

IT'S OUR SECOND ANNIVERSARY TODAAAAY! 128522 Josh has actually saved one of his extra day-offs (which he accumulated before) to use today, so we can spend the day together. Sine he was quite busy with his work, I have volunteed to look for a place where we can have our anniversary lunch. I actually searched for date places that have nice ambiances, and my lisy was narrowed down to 3 options: La Spezia MNL, Rustic Mornings by Isabelo, and Le Petit Soufflé. After much deliberation (and me subtly convincing Josh that we reaaaaally have to try out LPS, because hello, JAPANESE-French Fusion), we decided to celebrate there. Yay! I was super excited, and read so much about Le Petit Soufflé that I already know what I want to order for us.

I also discovered Zomato's book-a-table feature, and tried it out last night. The response was prompt and it was super convenient! I even had to modify the booking time twice: first, because Josh said that 11:30 am might be too early (probably, he was allotting extra time so we won't be in a burry if I arrive late... HUHU 128517). The second time was 2 minutes before our ETA (12nn), because my morning errands finished late. I had the time changed again, and it was hassle-free! This feature is so awesome, kudos to the team. 128079

Anyway, when we arrived at Le Petit Soufflé, we saw that it was a relatively slow day, prabably because it was a Thursday lunch. I told the receptionist / waiter (Elmer) that I had made a reservation through Zomato, and he immediately led us to our table. I love the seats they reserved for us! I felt like I was transported to a garden. 128525 (I actually wrote in my special requests part in the Zomato booking that I hope they can give us a good spot, since we're celebrating our anniversary. I was thrilled with how well they delivered. Elmer was also very courteous, and immediately gave us water to drink. I also requested that I do not want to have cold water, and he immediately took away the cup with ice and replaced it with another one. Now, that's exemplary service! 128076 We browsed the menu (actually, I already had pre-planned items to order in mind -- such OC-ness 128584) and chose the follwing dishes:

✔ KINOKO FRITES (Php 235) - 1108811088110881108811088
It was only the start of our meal, but LBS had its best foot forward! I loved this appetizer, and it's probably the best item we ordered today!!! 128525 I loved how well the mushrooms were fried... No one would ever suspect they are mushrooms! They are so yummy and actually kinda tasted like calamares, BUT BETTER! The umami taste was accentuated by the dash of nori salt, and the tonkotsu mayo dip was such a delight, too! This is probably the best appetizer I've tried! 128156

✔ SESAME CRUSTED TUNA SALAD (Php 375) - 11088110881108811088
Based on my research here on looloo, this is also a must-try item. The salad was good, amd the serving size was veey generous! The mixture of the components of this dish complemented well with each other. The tuna was very fresh, though it could use some seasoning as it can be a bit bland when eaten alone. The star, however, was the sesame-wasabi dressing! It was very good, and it brought this already good dish to the next level. The bonito flakes were a great addition, too.

✔ SQUID INK RICE (Php 395) - 11088110881108811088
This was also a best-selling item, so we wouldn't miss the chance to taste it. The dish was served in a hot plate, and had a variety of colors because of the egg and seafood toppings. It looked so yummy! 128523 Upon mixing it in, however, I felt like the dish lacked oomph to it. The lemon added depth to an otherwise quite ordinary tasting squid inked rice. The scrambled egg was also a vital addition for the dish's texture and creaminess. The toppings could've been a bit generous, though. We were served with a few pieces of squid loops, a prawn, and a piece of mussel. The dish is good as a whole, but it could've been better.

Since soufflés are supposedly their specialty (Hello, it's there in their store name! Hehehe), we did not pass up the chance to try one of their signature desserts! We learned that their best seller was the dark chocolate classic soufflé, so that's what we got:

✔ SOUFFLÉ GUANJA (Php 350) - 11088110881108811088
This is a 70% Dark Chocolate Soufflé, served with Vanilla Creme Anglaise which you have to pour though a hole you'll poke on top of your soufflé. Make sure to order this before you start your meal as it takes a while for them to prepare this. When it was served to us, its freshness was very evident. The sweet smell of the dessert was so irresistible, we decided to try the soufflé first without adding the creme anglaise. It was cooked just right, and the taste: perfect mix of sweetness and bitterness from the dark chocolate was a pleasant surprise. We then poured in the creme anglaise, which transformed the dessert into a tasty mix that will surely make eat one scoop after another. A bit pricey, but worth it to try! 128516 On a side note, I personally like my desserts cold, though. Might try the frozen soufflés next time!

Being the matcha lover that I am, of course, I MUST TRY THEIR MATCHA DESSERT! I was choosing between either the Matcha Custard Base Softee or the one with the aforementioned softee + cold matcha latte, but I chose the softee this time:

✔ MATCHA CUSTARD BASE SOFTEE (Php 95) - 1108811088110881108811088
I LOVED IT. SO MUCH! 128154128154128154 The matcha has the right matcha bitterness to it. The dessert, while being a custard soft serve, was not too sweet. The creaminess it possessed was also a winning trait for me. It was like I'm a step closer to heaven with every scoop! 128525 Since Josh is not much of a matcha fan, he later decided to scoop this softee and eat it with a spoonful of the dark chocolate soufflé, and WE KID YOU NOT, it was SO GOOD! The mix of flavors and textures and temparatures bleneded ao well with each other, we thoyght LPS should have sold this as a "bundle". This discovery was pure genius! I urge you to try this out 128154 Josh even said that it made the matcha softee "bearable". Yay, at least he does not dislike it anymore 128154128154128154

We had such a great time here. The wait staff who assited us from order taking to billing out, Alwin / Arwin was so attentive and nice! 128079 He also chose the best angle and lighting for our couple shot (even closed the blinds para hindi against the light). Impeccable service, really. 511088 service + 511088 food items, what more can you ask for, right? 128516 The pretty interiors and romantic ambiance were just the icing to an already elaborate "cake". 128156

As I was getting lost in Makati, I stumble upon Century Mall. The mall was actually a few blocks away from where I grew up. It's been a decade since I was here in the area. I noticed that Le Petit Souffle is one of the restaurants here so we quickly decided to try this even if we were not hungry.

The place is well executed with fancy art deco and comfy seats with french background music. A perfect place for a casual date.

We tried their LPS Carbonara and Cream Cheese Souffle Pancake. Our very nice server suggested to have souffle on top of our Carbonara. How can i resist? The pasta with souffle on top makes it even more instagrammable! The serving would be good for two people. Although, a bit disappointed with the taste. Just bland. Pepper to taste needs to be added.

But I am way happy with Cream Cheese Souffle Pancake we ordered. It reminds me of the bread pudding of Bellevue in their breakfast buffet. Soft and fluffy with a good cream cheese filling in the center with maple and creme Anglaise to complement the pancake.

I do hope that someday they will open here in the south part of the metro.

I suggested this place to my team one weekend as we’re having our R&R in Mystery Manila in Century City Mall. I know that this place won’t disappoint.

We entered the restaurant with all smiles as the place wasn’t so packed yet. We chose to be seated in the couch area for better lighting. I was initially looking for their Squid Ink Rice but the server told me that it’s not available that day. SERIOUSLY?! Well, that made me really sad. I remember I was in food heaven the first time I tried it here. Anyway, we just had the following instead.

** Vegetarian Soba Pasta
I’m not a vegetarian nor a veggie fanatic but I loved this one. The soba pasta was nice and firm and the mixture of zucchini, eggplant and bell pepper in shoyu sauce was delicious. It’s a light meal perfect for diet-conscious people like me. Okay, kidding.

** Truffled Hamburg Meatball Spaghetti
This is heavier compared to the soba pasta due to the big serving of Japanese hamburg meatballs. The truffle sauce was creamy but light in taste. You can enhance the taste of this pasta dish by adding freshly ground pepper.

** Porc Bourguignon
This good for sharing meal consists of red wine-stewed pork served with garlic Japanese rice and egg. I was able to taste this and found it really delicious. I just think that everything is overwhelming. It’s so tasty!

** Hambagu with Japanese Ketchup and Egg
The bomb in this visit! I loved it. It was filling and really flavorful. The seared Japanese burger patty was complemented by the Tonkotsu ketchup. And what made this meal complete for me is the sunny side up egg. I liked that it was not cooked well done. All these ingredients were perfect with the Japanese short grain rice.

The service, as usual, was impeccable. The staff were so attentive to our needs. The place, as always, is good and bright. Just minus one star for their Salted Egg Caramel Parfait. I ordered this because of the term salted egg – it’s addicting, However their parfait’s version is rather disappointing. No trace of salted egg, for me. It was just a salted caramel parfait. Even my officemates didn’t like it so much. Anyway, I still like most of the item in Le Petit’s menu.

P.S. I’ve always loved Le Petit Souffle’s ambiance. Very sweet and classic. Yung pwedeng pang-date. *wink*

I was really excited to try to this place when I saw it online because of how instagrammable it is. Also, being a fan of japanese food, anything with "japanese" in it piques my curiosity.

However, it was quite disappointing. The quality of the food didn't match up to the excellent interiors. The food was okay. Okay meaning it's okay to try once but it's something I wouldn't really crave for.

We ordered Kinoko Frites, Squid-ink rice, Carbonara, and Valrhona Guanaja. Out of all we tried, I think the Carbonara and Squid-ink rice stood out the most. At first I thought the serving of the rice was too little but then when we were eating, it was actually more than how it looks like. Still, the servings and generally less than what you would expect for the price and it didn't even 'wow' us. Actually we ordered Carbonara after we ate our dessert because we were still hungry.. 128514 I was even with a friend who ate so little and she was the one who suggested we order something more.

Met with my good friend at Petit Soufflé for lunch. I love the cute frenchy vibe of the place. When I looked at the menu, I found it a bit pricey but the restaurant has good reviews so perhaps it's really worth the price. We ordered the following:

128523 Sesame Crusted Tuna Salad: 345 PhP for a salad but it’s worth the price. Tuna is seared on the sides, and you greens, those japanese flakes, and served with a wasabi-sesame dressing.

128523 Japanese Beef Curry Soufflé. This took sometime to arrive at our table. One of the staff gave us the wrong dish, and we said we ordered the curry soufflé, I suppose that’s the only time they made one for us. We had to wait 45 minutes for this dish! Good thing we had a good breakfast earlier. Taste-wise, it is a good dish. Light on the curry taste, tender meat. Not something I will order again, though.

128523 For dessert we had the Matcha Soufflé. SOOOO good. Matcha and white chocolate are the perfect combination talaga! We had it to share pero frankly, I can eat it myself heehee.

Will I comeback? Definitely cos I want to try their other dishes, if it is closer to home – that’s why I’m super excited they will open in UP Town Center soon!

If i wanted to write an instant five star review, i dont have to look any further than this place.  And there are only quite a handful of restaurants that im happy writing a review for, this place is definitely one of them.

I made a reservation before proceeding here and was given a very nice spot for our lunch.  And for all of my visits here, i think i fully enjoy having few people around as you can fully enjoy quiet and bright environment.

So what do i love about this place aside from its price 128539.  All dishes are really good, as in really good. 9786 Matcha of course. Haha. Utensils are clean *something i really expect from a japanese place. Tables are well placed.  And the interiors are just instagram worthy.  And for this visit, we were served by Liza, i seldom remembers a server's name but she delivers service worthy of more than 5 stars. 128077 definitely raises the bar of 5 star service.

Visit here wouldnt be complete without squid ink rice, its a unique take on a squid  ink paella with souffle + shrimp, mushrooms, squid, tuna* i think the tuna part is new ingredient for this dish.  Definitely my all time fav.

We were tentative at first to order their carbonara but i saw somewhere wherein you can add egg and souffle on top and it was so pleasant to watch it being mixed, so we went for it and i didnt regret ordering it, maybe my favourite carbonara now in the metro, check the video at my ig. Just watch it being mixed. 128522 yum.

For the dessert we went for soft serve matcha + Iced Matcha Latte.  First time taking it seperately as the soft served matcha was really creamy while Matcha latte was of a different variant with a milky take.  But then you could always scoop some soft serve and put it on the latte. 9786

I was told that they are opening a new branch at megamall fashion hall called "The Workshop" by Le Petit, it will have different menu items compare to this branch + pastries and thats something i will be looking forward to. Now I will be much confuse on which resto to choose at megamall.

I'll definitely be back here, defintely 128522 instant 5 stars.

When Le Petit Soufflé started operating here in the Philippines exactly at the third level of Century City Mall in Kalayaan Avenue at Poblacion, Makati City, I have kept following their social media sites and kept reading reviews because I have fallen in love at first sight with it.

Le Petit Soufflé is a fusion restaurant of French and Japanese comfort food. The concept came from the famous pastry chef Miko Paras in partnership with the Hole in the Wall group of people.

It was last Friday night when finally I found the time and date to visit Le Petit Soufflé at Century City Mall. Given the Friday rush, traffic was bad but that didn't ruin my mood because I was so excited to check out the restaurant and experience it for myself.

It was a bit surprising to see that the place was not full when I arrived with one of my good friends, ate Donna. As we were entering the establishment, we initially took photos of the beautiful exteriors that highlighted mostly French art patterned with the colors white, yellow and green.

Upon entering, be in awe as your eyes will see pure gorgeousness from all the interiors that they have. The white brick walls were designed with a nicely made calligraphy art that's in French. On the corners are artificial trees that gave the place a very organic and environmental feels but still retaining its very classy look. The ceilings were decorated with hanging plants and cute white lanterns that matched well with the nicely mixed and matched furnitures that came in differently styled chairs, couches, lounges and tables that actually give you the choice where you wanna stay at as dependent on your mood.

So, we stayed at the far end of the restaurant where we had this nicely crafted backdrop that showed yellow windows, as if you're in the classy streets of France. Once seated, we were given glasses of cold water along with the simple yet straightforward menu.

From soups, salads, breads, pastas, Japanese soufflé pancakes, soufflé glaces, parfaits and pure custard soft-served, Le Petit Soufflé's menu has a whole lot to offer and I suggest that you go here with a hungry stomach to be able to try a lot from their menu.

So, we ordered their Chicken Pomodoro for 350 pesos, the Steak and Potato Wedges Plate for 1450 pesos and the French Vanilla Bean Soufflé for 300 pesos.

The Chicken Pomodoro was made with Fusili pasta with seared chicken breast, basil and fresh mozzarella and parmesan cheese. I liked that it was served not too saucy and that the serving was really good for sharing.

The steak and wedges looked small at first but it was hard to finish the meal given that we were both hungry at that time. The steak was cooked medium well but it was still easy to chew. I liked the fact that I did not need to put steak sauce on it because it was in itself juicy and tender with every bite. The potato wedges were served generously and I liked their combination altogether.

Of course, we could not miss on trying their signature and classic soufflés. The French Vanilla came hot and we were thought to pour the sauce while it's hot as it'll taste even better that way. When I popped the middle open, I felt the softness and freshness of the soufflé which I also experienced when I first tasted it. It wasn't too sweet and milky. Just perfect, perfect for my tastebuds!

Le Petit Soufflé is such a happy place for foodies who are looking for a cute and artsy cafe/resto that serve good food that's worth paying for. I will definitely go back here for happier and lovelier experiences.

Le Petit Soufflè is a Frensh-Japanese resto which offers comfort foods which undeniably great. I've been here a few times but it was my first time writing a review of it.

The place was beautiful. Going inside was like entering a different dimension. The interiors were great, I really love the garden concept with a twist of french tables and chairs. My fave were the rolling pins hanged on the faux trees. Every part of the resto was really amazing. I just can't get over how perfect the interiors were.

I liked Le Petit mainly because of the desserts. The mains were great but I wish for bigger serving tho the quality and taste worth the price.

We ordered:

Squid Ink.

Seafood paella negra with a twist lol. Eating the squid inked rice alone would do but I was hoping for more toppings tho. 128513

Kinoko Frites.

Fried mushrooms for our appetizer while waiting for our mains which usually takes time to prepare. It was good, tastes like calamares. I still prefer Mushroom Chicharon from Chelsea Kitchen

Pork Bourguignon.

The dish was good. The most flavorful dish among the mains we ordered. Nothing special.

Japanese Beef Curry Souffle.

This dish never disappoints me. I'm not a curry lover but it's an exemption. The savory cheese souffle was fluffy andd i really love the creamy curry sauce. It's better to order this in advance coz it takes 20 minutes to prepare the dish.

Valrhona Grand Crus.

Katie ordered this for our dessert to sum up our evening. Of course, a celebration is not complete without a cake for my Birthday lol. It looks like an ice cream cake because of less flour was used to create this beautiful cake.

The cake was sooooo good. It's perfect! You could taste the richness and quality of chocolate used on this cake. Not too sweet, smooth and melts in your mouth. I was planning to order red bean matcha souffle but having Valrhona Grand Crus was enough to satify my dessert craving. I highly recommend this cake! 128076

Cold Matcha with Matcha Softee.

Matchmacallit???! Best drink for matcha lovers and best matcha drink in town. 128154

Service was excellent.

This place is one of my fav dining place here in the metro. And for obvious reasons is my 300th review. 300!!!! For spartaaa (matchaaaa) 128517 sorry corny joke, moving on.128516

Most of the time im happy after dining here except for one. But for this visit we are satisfied with what we had. We booked in advance via an app so that we'll have a discount but wasnt able to get our free dessert that comes with that reservation. Oh well lesson learn.

As usual, the squid ink rice was very delicious. Its my must order here. Japanese beef curry souffle was superb, its good for 2 to 3 person, perfect fusion of japanese and french. Pasta that we had was okay, it doesnt have the wow factor as compare to the previous 2 dishes but nonetheless was good.

And oh, the matchaaaa was 128076128077128588 probably my top matcha place, it was perfectly bitter (if it makes sense). Now that im thinking about it, i might come here again next week for it.

The place was nicely done, quite similar to wholesome table it has this green garden feel. In terms of service i had no complain at all for this visit.
