Ordered the usual Bulalo (not in photos), Crispy Pata and Sinugba. Today was a super foggy lunch time so there was no view but the Tagaytay weather is always loved 128158

A serving of hot and delicious Bulalo is perfect for this rainy weather. Well, Leslie's Restaurant got that covered.

Of all the many sprouting Bulalo places in Tagaytay, Leslie's is one of the most popular and most visited. I think this is because the location is very accessible and is easy to find. And of course, good food.

In my visit here, we ordered the Special Bulalo, of course, and the Baked Mussels.

Special Bulalo - It is good. But I expected more from the hype that it's getting (and its price 🤑). It tastes like a proper Bulalo, don't get me wrong, but I wished it has more depth on the "beefy" flavor. I needed to add condiments (fish sauce and kalamansi) to fully enjoy it. One good thing though is that the soup is refillable. Even though it needed more of that "umami" flavor, I guess. 128516

Baked Mussels - We waited long for this dish to be served and we ended up being disappointed. 128542 The mussels were covered with this white sauce, which I think is bechamel, and it tastes like a Carbonara sauce that is overly sweet. I think it would be better off with just a melted cheese. Simplicity is key.

The servers were accommodating and there was even an acoustic band of sort who goes at every table to sing a song or two. It's very entertaining. They also were not expecting any tips. But I guess giving one is not a waste of money. They were very good and they look like they were enjoying performing to the customers.

Overall, it's still a good dining experience.

It was an impromptu tagaytay last minute trip that led me here with my friend. It was my first time to go to tagaytay in a past six but i think it was like a normal thing for peeps at south. Well here i am all hungry so we only order their special bulalo at 600++. It was the only thing we ordered since it was only 2 of us.

The beef was really big in serving and yummy but the soup was not that hot when served and the weird thing is that it didnt 'sebo' even after 30 mins.

Table was all wet when we were seated and plates need to be cleaned well.

The first thing that pops up in your mind when you here Leslie's of Tagaytay is Bulalo! Yes, we came all the way here to order a bowl of bulalo for an early dinner on a saturday. Very big bulalo with lots of meat, tendons and marrow was served with the hot bulalo soup. The soup was even unlimited. Although the meat part was not very tender. Besides the bulalo we also ordered the ff:
*shrimp in butter and garlic - very buttery! I liked to put the sauce on my rice, very sinful >.<

*pinakbet con lechon kawali - generous serving size and good for sharing

*alimasag in butter and garlic - this was delicious although we were expecting alimangi as it was only stated 'crab' in the menu. 4 pcs of medium size alimasag was served

*fried pla pla - this was good as well and serving is good for sharing

Overall food and Service was great. Servers were very attentive. While eating there was also a group of singers going from one table to another and you can also request a song to them. I like that they can sing old and new songs.

The resto also has a Very nice view of the taal lake as well and the ambiance was also good. A nice place to bond with family and friends.

When in Tagaytay, have bulalo! This time, tried Leslie's. Serving was big - good enough for a group of 5. Price is also good for 5 haha!

Meat was tender. Soup was so tasty. But the corn was a little hard, maybe undercooked.. Or maybe because it's not the sweet corn.

But all in all, it would fair Diner's bulalo.

We went at the Leslie's SkyRanch branch for lunch. We couldn't choose what to eat so we settled for something classic. For 350 Php, the sinigang na baboy that we ordered was really sulit (QUANTITY wise). We weren't able to finish it kasi dalawa lang kami. QUALITY wise, the pork tasted like it's aged... And the soup of the sinigang na baboy tasted really heavy... Place was with a lot of flies. We couldn't concentrate well with our food because we keep shooing away the flies. Also, not all servers were approachable (ayoko na ikwento, it's like the usual deadma stare when you see them see you calling them but they choose to ignore you because of unknown reasons). This branch used to be so good. The last time I went here (summer last year), service and food were excellent. Now, not so much. I hope they improve their service soon.

I invited one of my college buddies fo a day hike at Mount Batulao-located at Batangas. We were both speechless upon arriving at the summit-spectacular view.and well of course after completing our hike, to complete our day, we decided to taste Batangas' famous soup dish-BULALO. We chose leslie's as it was one of the top rated resto around the place.well,i guess we made a great choice. service was great, quality of food was above expectation, servings were right for the price. When everything was set we immediately started to eat.and in a snap! Ala ey, buto nalang ang natira-literally. The soup was superb, the meat was soft and tender, the veggies added up flavors. Two thumbs up.

If Tagaytay were more accessible to me, I would go back to Leslie's a lot. I loved their bulalo (especially the actual soup) and tuna sisig. Their pork sisig was good too, I just usually prefer less fat in it.

My favorite about this place though was their location (relatively accessible since it's on the main road. Now if only Tagaytay were nearer and didn't require a bus trip......) and their inhouse entertainment. If you get a chance to visit the place, make sure their music group goes to your table. They do a maximum of two songs (either their choice or yours) for each table and are AMAZING. So much talent in one group, forealz. You request a song and more likely than not, they'll be ready in less than 10 seconds (including top 40 songs, no joke). Their music group is the real deal, to be honest. 128076🏻128076🏻128076🏻

Great place to have a lengthy sit-down meal with good friends!

We were on a roadtrip and so hungry. Looking for a nice place and great food to eat. Leslie's restaurant caught our attention as people we're heading to this restaurant. We were lucky to easily find a good spot to park our car. We went inside and it was a full house, we're nos 4 on the lists, turnover was so fast and we find the place really great. The worst thing happens, no waiter attending our needs and we've seen other customers raising their hands and just ignored us. We've heard waiters cursing. Finally, they served the food hot first, we've waited for so long for them to set up the plates. We went to their kitchen asking for plates and spoon, fork. The kitchen staff told us to wait for the waiter to set up everything and we wait, the food are now cold and we were thinking switching to other restaurant and decided to stay since food were served. In short, we didnt enjoy food, we didnt even bother finishing them. This is the worst of the worst restaurant i have ever been to. Nightmare!

One of the best places to dine overlooking at Taal in Tagaytay, Leslies provides good food + atmosphere. What I love about the place is the high kubos, giving you a much better view of Taal plus it’s something different, right? Although do take note that it’s freezing cold out there! Of course we ordered the Tagaytay’s Specialty, the Bulalo! And some Lechong Kawali too. Hihi. Breathtaking views!

This post is a week late but the public needs to know. Personally I don't know what attracts tourists to flock this place maybe the view but I hope it's not the food. I expected a lot from this place being an institution of sort in tagaytay. The bulalo is... blah! they use cow shanks way way old. Plus I think the restaurant needs a hygiene check, seriously the tables smells and are oily. Yuck!!!

The reason I love bulalo is because of the soft yellowish matter inside the bone marrow, or what we call in Tagalog as “utak” (brain) even when it’s not really an “utak.” I rarely order bulalo though, not really for the fact that it’s high in cholesterol but more from the fact that it’s expensive. An order usually sets you back at 599 pesos. For a cheapskate like me, that’s already too much. But in my recent trip to Tagaytay, I was pretty resolute to eat bulalo at Leslie’s just to quell this curiosity brought upon by my friends who are all about singing hallelujah after dining in this resto.

The one that I tried was the Leslie’s branch at Sky Ranch. There isn’t much to rave about the place, but the customers are overflowing. It probably helped that there were just the two of us so a female staff managed to find us a table. We ordered the regular bulalo for 599, the rice is PHP49 a cup. Yes, expensive so ready your wallet when you dine here. I thought waiting time would be long because of the crowd but before we knew it, a big bowl of steaming bulalo was already being served to our table.

How was it? To be fair, the serving is big, something that four people my size can share. But I didn’t find it as delicious as the kansi that I had at Chicken Island Inasal in Boracay. Still, it’s worth a try.
