My friend was visiting from NYC and needed to get that 24hour travel smut off of her so we decided to go here for a spa day to get ready for our week in Boracay. We both got facials and she got her eyebrows threaded and I desperately needed a foot spa to scrub off all the calluses from walking in flip flops all day. I also added mani and pedi. I'm a firm believer that all men should partake in spa treatments for themselves and for others that have to look at their crazy feet on the Jeepney everyday. I know it is a luxury so instead I eat at home rather than getting my daily fried chicken with spaghetti at Jollibees. So they did my mani and pedi and foot spa while I was laying down getting a facial. I found it a little odd but I guess why not do it all in one shot. The place was empty so knowing that people were not watching all the dead skin flying off my feet and tears rolling done my face from the slightly painful extractions made the experience a little more relaxing. I always ask them not to show me the stuff that comes out of my face but they always do, either to say "look at what I did!" Or "look how disgusting you are!" , but I felt great. My friend had a good experience also except for the painful threading but I guess waxing hurts just as much. Everyone was very pleasant and professional and I will definitely come back for upkeep.
