My mom got interested with Liloan's cos of its sign outside that says "Better than lechon". We ordered their Group Meal B which includes two slabs of liempo, 1 plate of pancit canton, 4 cups of rice and a pitcher of iced tea or lemonade (sosh lemonade!!). We also added chopsuey on the side. The liempo slabs were good. The meat was a bit salty but was tender and had few slices of fat (taba). The pancit canton was good! It's a bit saucy and it wasn't salty or sweet. The sahog of both the pancit canton and chopsuey were fishball and squid. It's actually good that they use seafood to help balance off the other viands. For the drinks, we were asked to choose between moringa iced tea and cucumber lemonade. Both drinks sounded weird so we just went with the iced tea. When it arrived on our table, it was green-ish in color and the taste wasn't that sweet. The taste was weirdly okay.

I'm trying cebu lechon liempo for lunch. It is near the vicinity of Philippine Orthopedic Center. I remembered I have tried to taste their spicy liempo before. I tried their set meals which is Cebu Lechon liempo which cost 135 pesos eventhough they recommend me the Chicken lechon. Based on their claim they are listed on the 2013 best liempo in Manila. The cebu lechon liempo is good although I think I would like the spicy liempo. The liempo has a crispy skin bit tender meat. I think they should have a spicy vinegar if the cebu lechon liempo is a regular one. Over all I can say the price is worth the try especially if you want to have a taste of lechon cebu liempo in a inexpensive price.

Landing a place in Spot.ph best liempo in Metro Manila made me want to try this place. Unfortunately, the liempo did not meet my expectations. Chooks to go's liempo is way better, not saying its not good but I was expecting something kick ass. Serving is good enough and price is affordable.

Cebu pork liempo meal was good. For only P135 128513 wish they had the spicy version though, would've been better

Apologies for the half eaten chicken on the plate. I was starving!

After leaving my car to get "pimped out" here at Banawe (and not eating since the day before), the words "lechon" and "liempo" immediately caught my attention.

But alas, no lechon here. Got the bundle which included a slab of liempo, one whole chicken, a small bottle of achara and a liter of (lots of) fruit juice. Their liempo was sorta average, but different, as it had this really herby flavor which I liked. I brought some home for mom but she really didn't like it so it might not be to everyone's taste. The roasted chicken was the typical run-of-the-mill litson manok. Liked the achara. And fruit juice was well, a liter of four seasons with what looked like the remains of some orange, pineapple, watermelon and calamansi from an explosion.

Overall, nothing special. Actually, it was lower than my (already low) expectations. Would have given a (paawa) 3 but the servers were not very much attentive and one of them even sat down on the couch behind my seat like she was at home.

Business must be really slow and she made it really obvious to see.

Not cheap for an ordinary liempo... By the way, this place has a new name. I hope it will survive....
