The Lipa Cathedral Church is located at the Bayan of Lipa Bantagas City. The Lipa Cathedral Church is so beautiful and so artistic inside. The sculptures and architectures inside the Cathedral was so good as the good creation of God.
I'm so feeling blessed.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of San Sebastian or what we Lipeños called as Lipa Cathedral, was indeed my favorite church (I know I'm biased, hehe) in this lifetime. This Romanesque church was actually chosen to be the seat of the Archdiocese of Lipa back in 1910. Growing up with my grandparents, my Tatay Aste whom was named after our patron and my Inay Belen whose an active of DMI (Daughters of Mary Immaculate) and a choir member together with her children, both came from clans originally from Lipa. They are the first ones who taught me to hear mass every Sunday as I am always with them when they went to church.
Sight from the outside, you can already see how the architecture was reconstructed beautifully over the years. It evolved to spot not just a religious sanctuary but also a tourist pilgrim. The interior was magnificently huge with the dome at the front center and you can see extravagant images drawn in walls and ceilings. Plus the glorious altar which you can instantly be astonish. They also features their baroque designed pipe organ which only few has in the country.
Another captivity that you can see in cathedral was the Holy Door which was opened by Archbishop Arguelles last December 13, 2015, a Guadete Sunday. The opening of the Holy Door symbolizes the beginning of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. I was blessed to have witnessed and participated with the faithful devotion. It was said that when you pass through the Holy Door with the intension to repent from your sins, you'll experience the jubilee indulgence.
Lipa cathedral was also one of the sites frequently visited all year round and it's also one of the churches where couples wanted to celebrate their union. I for one had dreamt of it myself.
So if ever you'll be visiting Lipa, make sure you don't forget to visit Lipa Cathedral and make your wish. :)
Visited: Almost everyday since I live nearby. Plus my son's school is just around the corner. Too accessible. Talk about perks of living in central town. :)
