Decent Japanese restaurant in BF homes. Nothing special on the menu. My usual orders are their donburis and their "Crazy Maki".

Sometimes they usually have promo sets which include buy 1 take 1 of these donburis or sometimes the promos cover the bento sets as well.

I remember liking the food here and since we were craving for sushi and were near BF, we opted to go here. I was a bit hungry so I ordered tempura and rice and their crazy maki. My friend ordered the dynamite maki. The place was quiet as usual, only one table was occupied when we got there. We were given chopsticks and nuts that was served in a small plate to snack on, and I was hesitant to try it since it looked like it was cooked Sichuan style? But then I take a piece and I just couldn't stop eating it. It was a bit sweet but it was yummy. (but i'm not sure since I could literally eat anything at that point and love it?- I was hungry) Haha!

The place was small but it was extremely humid in there again, just like the first time I ate here. Thank God I was in a good mood and the food came just 10mins after we ordered (it better bec by then we were their only customers) The lady who served us our food was friendly and very attentive.

Price wise this place is affordable, the crazy maki I ordered was I think 200pesos for 8pieces and the dynamite ones was 250pesos? Yummy food, I just wish they changed their aircon cos it was really what made me give it 4 stars! Although I love that this small restaurant had a nice and spacious "common comfort room" (which was surprisingly clean and odorless- especially for an OC person like me) I also loved that they had house tea because my friend and I are obsessed with house teas 128540

Looking for a quick, tasty, filling snack? Then head on over to Little Rio and get their version of Crazy Maki. Shredded crabsticks, fish roe, mango sliver and Japanese mayo on tempura batter covered rice. Looks like a stylized version of California maki with a crunch. Offers a very nice medley of flavors and textures in your mouth. 128077

Now, as to why a Japanese restaurant is called Little Rio, I will have to get back to you on that! 128516

The place looked cute but when we got inside it was a little hot and the menu looked worn out. Good thing everything we ordered tasted good!! We even got a free stir fry vegie because we ordered these two maki platters and they had like an ongoing promo or something. Haha

I forgot what maki this is, but what i can say, its sooooo delicioso!! Its not bad for a small Japanese restaurant. The maki prices are very cheap ranges from 180-220 pesos, 8 slices. 128077128077128077

Ill be coming back for more maki 128513

This is an ok place to satisfy your Ramen cravings but its not even close to THE benchmark that is Ukkokei Ramen Ron. My wife and i ordered Usual safe jap dishes, Gyoza, Tori Kara-age and Tantan Mien (they spelled it as Tantan Min.) Their Gyoza had a hint of Joy Lemon scent, something quite artificial in the taste, most likely its the wrap. Their Tori Kara -age is technically just Chicken Lollipops with a Japanese sounding name, theres nothing authentic in it,dont get me wrong though, its good. I dont know if its because i love fried chicken to begin with. Their Tantan Mien falls under OK lang level. Unremarkable but can go therre if i dont eat for a week. Its enough tonsatisfy my ramen cravings. In summary, i still might drop by here if i cant go to ATC to eat in Kenji Tei Ramen, but if i'll crave for Jap food in the future, i'd rather go yo Bentoya.

Now called Rustico Sushi Bar & Restaurant. I was looking for that distinct peanut taste in their tantan men but only got a slightly better version of a spicy beef mami noodles. 128539
