Melts in your mouth Crispy Pata is a winner. But we all know that.

My great find today is their 4 Egg Spinach thingy. Super delicious! It has chicken egg, duck egg, century egg and quail egg. I love that the spinach was not bitter, nor overcooked. I felt like Popeye! Haha!

The Crispy Pata is great but I would actually come back for that 4 Egg Spinach alone. Yum!

Another session with my friend who can smell and taste better than your average person. She was excited to try the crispy pata of Livestock. Got in at around 9pm and it's not a nice experience.

Crispy Pata
- Very nice that you can slice it off with a stick but we opted to get a knife. Then my friend said it while slicing: "Omg. It smells like bocha. It doesn't smell good!" Pero baka raw it's just part of the crispy pata so she dismissed it. Then when the crispy pata got colder, she could taste it already. "Malabot yes, other crispy pata tastes better, but the main thing is that the freshness of their crispy pata is highly questionable. It's almost green!" She said the meat should be white. I told her go tell them about it, we'll pay naman. So I called the server and my friend asked in a really nice way why the food tastes like that (she wanted to say "basura" but she didn't nalang baka matanong siya ng "nakakain na po ba kayo ng basura?"). Ate server quickly got it without questions and said she'll ask kitchen staff. She got back and said, "Ma'am ganun daw po talaga. Normal lang daw po yan." and we can't even have it wrapped because it's bad.

Friend: 🙁 (it's really really bad)
Me: 128528128528128528 (no idea because i'm so useless when it comes to next level of food tasting)

Broccoli Au Gratin
- Something new for me! I haven't had broccoli au gratin before so why not??

Watermelon Shake
- Yay because walang asukal masyado. Just watermelon.

Friend's last comment:
Sobrang sayang talaga sa pera (ang crispy pata). Dapat yata lasing ka muna dito para di mo malasahan. Ni hindi matake-out! Sayang talaga bayad.

10:14pm Update: Okay. I finally smelled it. Ambantot po ng crispy pata. 128557 Hahaha ang lubha. Guys, stop eating meat nalang kasi. (Pero sabi ni kuya ganun daw talaga ang karne pag malamig na. But if ganun pala ang karne when it's cold, damn. It's bad po. Really bad.)

10:22pm Update: We got another server to smell it this time. My friend said di namin ittake out yung food. Then... They removed the crispy pata from the bill. 128528

When we entered Livestock, we only had one thing in mind, their famous Crispy Pata that could be sliced with popsicle sticks!

On the table
🔹Melt-in-Your-Mouth Crispy Pata - not your run of the mill crispy pata. When it landed on the table, it looked different from what we're used to. We actually sliced through the crunchy skin and soft meat with the popsicle sticks. It's not the type you use for your school projects nor the ones for Pinipig Crunch or Twin Popsies. The popsicle sticks were bigger and sturdier. They reminded us of those sticks doctors use to hold down your tongue while you say ahhhhhh. The meat really melted in your mouth. It could use more seasoning but the flavorful, slightly spicy sauce makes up for the lack of flavor. The portion is huge and best shared with a group.
🔹Four-egg Spinach - some veggies for a balanced meal haha. The sauce tasted like Nido or Egg Drop Soup. We should have eaten more of it while it was still hot. We didn't bother bringing home the extras.

I've had better tasting Crispy Pata and the novelty of cutting it with popsicle sticks is a one time deal for me.

My third review of this place. And never without their crispy pata. Just so sinfully good!

Didn't like the kangkong sambal very much but my friends seemed to receive it well.

It's great to just chill and hang out after a long week of work :) unwinding and meet up with friends or even have family dinners over the weekend. But FYI they are usually fully during weekend nights esp friday-saturdays :)

Try there livestock nachos n coffee bourbon ribs :) but most of their food menu are good too :)

Have fun and enjoy ;)

There are times when I have intense cravings to the point that I find it hard to sleep as I just have to sink my teeth into whatever I’m craving. Two weekends ago, I had a sudden craving for crispy pata at 12:15 a.m.. Luckily, W was game to try Livestock PH as he heard that it’s one of the restaurants that serve the best crispy pata in Manila and he personally knows the owner. (No, we didn’t get discount.)

It took us over an hour just to get to Livestock PH and we were both hungry. We were fortunate though that we easily got a parking space.

Hello, Livestock PH!

When we arrived, there was no table in the no-smoking area that could accommodate us so we agreed to stay at the al fresco area while waiting for a table inside. Again, it was a lucky night as no one was smoking then.

We decided to order the following: Melts-in-your-mouth Crispy Pata (PHP590), Not-an-Ordinary Kare-Kare (PHP396), Vegetable and Seafood Pot (PHP255), Salted Egg Rice (PHP98). I also ordered a Red Cucumber Slushie (PHP105).

It took them over 45 minutes to serve our food and W and I already ran out of topics to talk about.

Finally, the highlight of the night was served.

I enjoyed watching the server chopping the crispy pata with a popsicle stick. Too bad W was in the washroom while the food was served.

It was really soft yet the skin was so crispy. The first few bites was heaven but after a while, I realized that it had an umay factor and I got tired of eating it. But I ate enough skin for me not to crave it for months. W and I finally had something to talk about… how they prepared the crispy pata.

The vegetable and seafood pot was pretty decent. It didn’t have a wow factor but it was light in taste and went well with the crispy pata. We needed a palate cleanser of some sort. Plus, it somehow made us feel that we’re eating healthy. (Okay, not really.)

I loved the kare-kare! The sauce’s texture wasn’t that smooth proving that they used peanuts and not just some powder or some sauce that you could buy in the supermarket. I loved the nutty taste. It was delightful.

The Red Cucumber Slushie (supposedly called smoothie if I recall it right but I’ll call it slushie since there was no milk added) was refreshing. I love the combination of watermelon and cucumber. I’ll definitely order that again on my next visit.

Overall, it was a great dinner. The wait though was a bit too much. I do hope that they do something with that.

This was the most epic Crispy Pata I have ever had! Delicious! The skin was so crispy and the meat was so tender, they serve it with a popsicle stick stuck through it!
And the best part is, they cut it using the same popsicl stick! EPIC!
We didn't even order anything else except for garlic rice. The Crispy Pata was more than enough for two people.
I would definitely come back to this place. So awesome.

If there's one thing worth coming back home for, it's the FOOD!

We had Livestock for lunch after a quick dentist appointment (and this was months ago, LOL! 128517). My dad recommended this after reading through spot.ph's top 10 Crispy Pata!

Oooh how I missed the "putok-batok" food!
We got one order of that, which slices through easily with a popsicle stick! Us girls were able to consume it quick!

Drunken mussels were a good match for beer but it was still good without as well.

The Bagoong Adobo Rice was just a complement! Rice is my weakness, haha! 128586

Goat Cheese Salad with tomatoes was indeed an appetizer you'll keep coming back for more.

All in all, you can really taste the Pinoy flavor here and definitely a good chillout place at night.

Love their Crispy Pata! Quite pricy but worth it. One of the best ones 128523 service was great. Ambience was 5/5 for me. They have flat screen TVs and a smoking area for smokers.

We went here during dinner time. The place is spacious, has nice ambiance and cozy because of their lights too.

My boyfriend ordered their Livestock Crackling Pork Belly and I had my Herb Roasted Chicken since I don't eat pork that much, also because we ate here past dinner already so I need to lie low of the foods I'll eat haha. Yet I need to taste the Pork Belly, the taste was so tender, savoury and it was too crispy, it has herbs which made so tasty and the smell was good. The Herb Chicken was tasty and juicy, also it has herbs and not just a typical chicken.

I wanted to order more because they have many options to choose from but for me I prefer and better to eat here during lunch time because their foods are sinful and since I'm afraid of "putok batok" thing haha especially at night, though they have pastas and non-pork, but of course I need to taste their specialties.

Their foods are good, not bad for the price. We need to come back here again to try their other menus!!

So totoo ang sabi-sabi! Tender.. Crispy.. Walang dahas ng kutsilyo..I'm talking about Livestock's melts-in-your-mouth Crispy Pata. Tenderness is evidenced by slicing the meat with popsicle stick (walang stirrr!) . I super enjoyed this tasty star of the table during our dinner. Well, this is a perfect pair for their bagoong rice (good for 4-6 pax). Another yummy order we had is their Salted Egg Shrimps (plump shrimps in rich buttery, salted egg sauce)... Its just so good! A must try !

Checking out their menu via online while doing this review, makes me feel like coming back. This place has a lot.. Believe me 9786

Enjoyed the crispy pata, as always! Crackling pork belly was awesome as well! As for the kare-kare - found it lacking in flavor so I wouldn't suggest it.

Thank you Wiljohn M for recommending this place! Just had dinner with the family here and we ordered their crispy pata and a vegeatable dish with lechon. Sarap! The place was full so we had dinner at the veranda or rather their al fresco place. It was alright, since the night was cool and our server made it a point to make us comfortable 978697869786

We will definitely come back and try their other specialties 128077🏻

tried this supposedly ranked #1 crispy pata from livestock resto along sgt. esguerra. true enough, the meat is soft & tender enough that we easily sliced through using a popsicle stick. the taste is very good, not too overwhelming. the crispy skin was the right thinness for me but may be too thin for the hardcore crispy pata aficionados. the 12 hour roast beef was very tasty as well. i noticed that the chef was confident with the freshness of their meat that he did not put too much seasoning (in fact it might not have any at all) so that you can appreciate the flavor. very good indeed. plus, we were pleasantly surprised that their coffee & dark chocolate cream pudding dessert were not bad. very satisfying (and filling) meal all around.

It claims to serve the #1 crispy pata in town. I dont know about bring #1 since I have yet to try the rest but I have to admit it is really deserves to be one of the best. I was curious with the popsicle stick thar came with the crispy pata. It turns outt that you use the syick to slice into the meat so you can just imagine how tender it is. It was quite tasty too the flavor seeps well into the meat and not just the crispy skin. It goes well with garlic rice and seafood vegetables. Wash it down with cold beer and uouve got the perfect yet deadly mix. Its worth trying y'all!
