After we had dinner (last Sunday), we went back to Glorietta, since Josh parked his car in Park Square. Since I have always been curious how Booky's BOGO (Buy One Get One) E-coupons work, I asked Josh if he wanted dessert at llao llao. He agreed, of course. 128513

They have two options for the BOGO: The Golden Plus Smoothie, or the Split Smoothie - both at 2 for Php 160. It is noted in the app that for Booky BOGO promos, these smoothies are served in a "special size".

We got the SPLIT SMOOTHIE, which has banana smoothie, sliced bananas, creamy caramel sauce, and frozen yogurt. 128525127820 For me, the serving size was just right, enough to satisfy as a dessert / snack. It's relatively cheap too, at Php 80 per cup! 128076 Tastewise, the smoothie is a bit too sweet for me. Good thing the tartness of the yogurt cut through the sweetness a bit. 128522 Worth a try, especially since it's on BOGO. 128513 Would probably stick with the regular frozen yogurt cups / sanum next time, though. 9996

If you're on tipid / kuripot mode, Booky's BOGO is a big help. HAHAHA. 128514

Llao Llao never fails to satisfy me in terms of Ice Cream cravings. I always choose the small one with dragon fruit and caramel sauce (P99 + 30 for the caramel sauce).

PLACE:

It was small but it was okay. Nothing special.

FOOD:

Sanum: Super yummy. The frozen yogurt is light and quite refreshing. You can also add three fruits, 2 crunches, and 1 syrup from a wide variety that they offer. I got strawberries, mangoes, and more mangoes. I forgot what crunches I got but I'm pretty sure it's on the chocolatey side crunches. And of course I got a dark chocolate syrup.

PRICE:

Super affordable, reasonable, and worth it!

SERVICE:

Friendly and accommodating staff.

VERDICT:

Did I enjoy it? - Yes
Will I recommend it? - Yes
Will I come back? - Yes

I super love their Frozen Yogurt.  Even without the toppings, it was heavenly.  It wasn't that creamy but sourly addicting.  I asked them what's the best seller and they said it was the Milk Chocolate and I gave it a try and it was indeed good.  The Fruits of the Forest tasted just like Blueberry. The chocolate was great too.  I think it was Dark Chocolate for it has its bitter taste a bit. But I did enjoy the Milk Chocolate more. I also get to the they Split and Mango smoothies! The best!!!

YAYY YAYYY!! Finally after almost a year of wanting to try this place out, ETO NA!!!!!! This was our last stop during @FoodSocietyPH's Poblacion Crawl! Yass!! 🤗

Jai and I shared a SANUM - 3 fruits, 2 toppings/crunches, 1 sauce. And gaaah, though sweet because of the caramel sauce, it was still good. I liked the yogurt as it was not too sour, just right. And the fruits - we got strawberries, kiwi, and mangoes!! They were all fresh and super sweet (in a good way! Haha lol). They were very generous with the fruits. Sarap! 128069

But I think I'll get the plain one next time haha! 128518

Service wasn't that good though (or is it because ang ligalig ko kaya nainis si Kuya?). 128517

This brand just came in the dessert scene recently. They are however not new in the world. Currently, this Spanish yogurt has more than 200 stores. There are 3 here now in Manila and I am expecting them to grow more soon.

Their yogurt boasts premium ingredients. Its taste was slightly sour, a tad of sweetness and is very creamy. The price points here are decent and their signature offering Sanum presents the most value for money. You can have hefty yogurt with three fruits, two crunches and any of their 6 types of sauces. I love that their fruits choices are mostly fresh. When I went here they had red dragon fruit too!

Is yogurt on the rise again? Llao Llao might just be able to make it happen.

Love their yogurt to the max! Anything paired with it was perfect. From fruits to chocolates to nuts.

This was my first time to try the Spanish frozen yoghurt and i say i like it. The yoghurt does not taste super sour like white hat is. What i like best are their crunches. I liked the almond crunch.

The place is not so conducive as the glamorous white hat. They only have plastic chairs and tables that would accommodate around 20pax.

I still prefer pinkberry for the fruit selections cause they have real berries--- one factor why it's only a 4 cause it does not offer other yoghurt flavors.

But But! I like the smooth yoghurt taste. It's not watered down/ rough in the tongue like red mango.

How do you read or pronounce this? The first time you encountered it?
Apparently, it wasn't what you are thinking it was. Of course I consulted Mr. Google about it and I found out that it originated from Spain. So it was a spanish word, but there was no meaning behind it rather than a frozen yoghurt itself.
It was pronouced as Yaw yaw and not lawlaw as your first guess, well we were the same. So don't feel shy about it. Now you know the drill, spread the word. ;)128526128526
My friend and I decided to get the most complete choice they call it Sanum (P199).
We decided to choose Kiwi, Strawberry, and Banana for the fruit toppings. Something nutty and crushed oreo for our crunch choice and a hazelnutty sauce.
Apparently, the server had unawarely put a different sauce which was dark chocolate instead of the hazelnut one so she, surprised of what she did ask us to consider instead of making another one, and we said yes but she must still put in the sauce that we chose and she obliged to. So we've got unexpectedly 2 sauces on ours.128527
I think they were just short for the variety of crunch options there were not nuts available like almonds, walnuts, cashew or even granolas, I hope they would add those as it is good for those who want to stay on the healthy side instead of just offering graham crumbs, crushed oreo, choco bits.

About the yogurt..
It's good and tarty complimented with fruits and crunch and the sweet sauces that was added. The serving can be good for two.
Just that I was wondering what their edge was over others or I mean I found nothing special in it when compared to the other yogurt competitors. Enlighten me with this please?🤔

Pronounced as 'yao yao' this Spanish frozen yogurt is by far my favorite FroYo place in the Metro.

It has a wide variety of sauces, fresh fruits and toppings just like any store in Manila. But what makes it different is that they offer the Petitllao. These are small FroYo cups, good for those who just want to have a little bit of goodness. Even though that might seem tempting, I prefer to experience it fully each and everytime. Hence the cup with the chocolate hazelnut sauce.

I make it a point to visit Llao Llao everytime I'm in the Makati area. That chocolate-y sauce paired with their FroYo is something you'll crave for.

After having a late lunch, we decided to hit Glorietta for some desserts. My brothers went for ice cream while me and my sister decided to go for Llao Llao for a healthier finish. This was after my visit to Llao Llao's MOA branch, and since I loved their muesli crunch, I was looking forward to another one. Sadly, this branch didn't have them 128532 I chose another crunch, but I can't remember what I chose because I didn't appreciate it as much as I did with the muesli. I was also not too happy about my order since the fruits were a little sour. Good thing the lotus caramel sauce was there to save the day.

I'm quite on the fence about this. Llao llao has good yogurt although I feel their array of toppings and sauces are limited. The yogurt reminds me of White Hat but without my choice of toppings. The small size though was quite generous so for 99php, this was sulit. I got mine with mango sauce. It's like a mango jam with dried mango bits. Not bad, but not remarkable too.

They also have a mini serving, kind of a cone type but in plastic for 49php. Maybe next time if I just want a bit of yogurt and not shell out around 100php, I would choose that.

On the other had, on days when I want to treat myself to a good froyo, Pink Berry is still where it's at for me.

In fairness masarap sya! Yogurt that is a little creamy and milky. 128077🏻

They even offer a small size without any topping and it'll still taste good even if there is no topping. 10084

"Yogurt Me at Hello"
I hope the picture I’m posting will catch your attention just like Llaollao caught both my heart and tastebuds! Coming from way South, my go to yoghurt stores are pink berry, white hat, and JCO which is in Town Center, but Llaollao instantly became my go to in Makati.

I became aware of Llaollao (Yao-yao) while I was on my Summer Vacation in Switzerland. The pictures my friends posted of it were very enticing so I told my boyfriend back then that we should give it a try when I come back… and to my surprise, I wasn’t disappointed at all. As expected, frozen yogurt should be more Tart than regular ice cream and lighter because of the use of milk instead of cream. Llaollao’s yogurt definitely ticked the boxes off my list. All along I thought nothing would come close to how close to perfection my boyfriend is. Haha! *squeals* But Llaollao seems to be a game changer. Unlike other people's reviews, we were highly satisfied with our first visit. After our lunch date at greenbelt, we decided to have some frozen yogurt for our dessert. We didn't have a hard time finding the store since it's very convenient when you're around Greenbelt-Glorietta-Landmark area (it's located at 128205Glorietta 2) and it's easy to spot because of its large signage, which is a plus for people like me who have poor directional skills.

When we got there, the line was kind of long (maybe because of the hype). Long enough for us to be able to pick our toppings. They have quite a good amount of choices of toppings which includes oreos, crunch, kitkat, fruits - kiwi, strawberries, mangoes, crushed cookies and more. As far as I remember, for sauces they offer dark chocolate, caramel, white chocolate, and more. We decided (I got to pick 2 of the toppings and I'm pretty basic, just a heads up) on getting a medium sized one + oreos + crunch + dark chocolate sauce. The service was okay, the payment section could be improved. Talking about the cost, it's on the pricey end, but for me it's worth it.

There are a number of seats at the place which is a good thing if you're not the type of person to walk around while eating. First spoon and right away I knew it wouldn't be my last. The fact that it's very rich in flavour is already a win, plus I got to eat it with someone I love... What a treat! Hahaha. The yogurt itself is a little tangy and creamy but like I mentioned earlier, very light. You could choose to eat it plain, but i guess adding a little toppings is not a bad decision at all. Actually, the toppings compliment the tangy taste of the yogurt.

127848 Sanum = P199 incl. 3 fresh fruits, 2 crunches, 1 sauce
127848 Small = P99 incl. 1 topping
127848 Medium = P179 incl. 3 toppings
127848 Large = P199 Bigger cup compared to Medium + 3 toppings
*they offer smoothies too! but we weren't able to try.

Finally ending my review with good and bad news:
✖️ Bad news: Unfortunately, we are no longer together
✔️ Good news: Llao llao is still open and will continue to make my heart happy (and yours too if you give it a try!) by reminding me of him whenever I order our favorite medium sized yogurt with oreos, crunch, and dark chocolate. Yum! 10024

To fulfill my recent addiction to frozen yoghurt, I had to try this infamous Llallao as dessert, after a filling dinner. And in the spirit of hitting two birds with one stone, this is also in line with my unending quest to gain as much weight as I can before the year ends--hence, I just officially kissed my pretend diet goodbye 128557

I wasn't that excited though as I looked through the choices of toppings, as the options weren't that varied and the fruits didn't look fresh anymore. This is compared to Pinkberry--I love their blueberry and strawberries, and these fruits, among others, still looked and tasted as if freshly handpicked, even though it was already late in the evening.

But since I was craving for dessert, I opted for the small-sized variant, with one topping. This cost me only PHP99, which is quite cheap vs Pinkberry's small cup that would cost PHP165 (although for the latter, you get to choose 3 fresh toppings and there were also other froyo flavors). I chose the muesli with chocolate as topping--the sweet taste blended well with the sweet/sour frozen yoghurt.

Service standpoint--the staff looked exhausted, which was understandable as malls today have extended closing hours. However, I couldn't help but again compare it to a recent experience at Pinkberry, whose staff were still friendly and accommodating even if it was almost-closing time.

Hence, I'm sorry but I don't understand the hype with Llallao, based on this visit. I might give it "one more chance" in the future though if I have more tummy space for dessert. Heard Sannum tastes great 128522128076🏻

Going all over the metro to meet suppliers has its perks... Meeting new people, visiting new places, and trying out new food!

We were in Makati over one weekend when I suggested that we try Llaollao (yao-yao). This is a froyo brand from Spain that was finally brought to the Philippines by the FooDee Concepts group. My fiancé and I decided to share one order of the Sanum (P199). This is their froyo with 3 fresh fruits, 2 crunches, and 1 sauce... 3-2-1 deal!128077 This is actually a big serving, perfect for sharing or just right for froyo lovers and people with a sweet tooth! 128515

We chose kiwi, strawberry and mango for our fresh fruits, got the Lotus biscuit and oreo cookies for our crunch, and the white chocolate-coconut sauce to finish it off... The sauce was perfect-- just the right amount of sweetness to complement the tart froyo... It had a hint of coconut-y taste that was like an added fruit topping. The fruits they used were fresh and the crunch added a nice textural touch. I liked how they make the froyo, making sure that the fruit and crunch were well-distributed and the sauce coated the whole concoction evenly. I thought it was worth the price actually... My fiancé, who is very hard to please when it comes to sweets, was hogging the dessert... He was very enthusiastic about this particular cup of froyo goodness. He loved the coconut sauce! He hailed it as the best froyo in the metro, so I'm assuming he loved it!128077

Btw, service was efficient! Kudos!
