It felt like I'm in a scene in Twilight or Jet Lee film. Haha.

This Man-made forest, becomes one of the favorite stop for tourist going to other Bohol attraction sites. It is composed of Mahogany trees about 2 kilometers stretched densely in towns of Bilar and Loboc.

Philippine mahogany is a common name for several different species of trees and their wood.  Botanically, the name refers to the species Toona calantas in the mahogany family Meliaceae.

We passed by a long stretch of road surrounded with tall and majestic mahogany trees.   Such a pretty sight.   The trees serve as shade for the narrow road.

Nothing to do here except take pictures of the mahogany trees planted by a group of students years ago. This area has no electricity, celphone signal and no one is allowed to live here. No payment to visit this place. Just park your car at a safe area and if taking pictures at the middle of the road, just be sure to be alert for incoming vehicles. This is the coolest and coldest area here at bohol as the sun's heat is being stopped by the tall mahogany trees.

We must not just do this in Bohol but everywhere. It was really beautiful and scenic. Too bad it was raining when we pass by.

A quiet place and a going to and from the Famous Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

This forest is made up in Mahogany which located in Bilar and Loboc.

You can feel that you are inside of the forest, so quiet and peaceful.

A favourite stop for tourists going to and/or from the Chocolate Hills in Carmen town is the Bilar Man-made Forest. Stretching up to two kilometers, the dense forest made up of red and white mahogany trees is located along the border of Loboc and Bilar towns.

What makes it more attractive to tourist is that you can take unlimited pictures without fees. #picturepamore #selfiepamore

Beautiful!! This included in the countryside tout. As this is just along a national highway, be careful when taking photos most of the vehicles passing were fast-moving.

Passed by Man-made forest and we were strucked by its international-like ambiance. If only I am stupid enough to believe that this is where Bella and Edward shot some of their scenes in Twilight, I wouldn't be thinking twice10084️. The wind is cold and gloomy while passing through. Our tour guide/ driver is very kind enough to be our photographer as well. He told us that it was some high school or elem pupils who planted the trees as a school project, I just don't know if its true coz he was telling jokes the whole tour! Hahaha. Boholanos are really honest and knows how to welcome tourists very well. To know more about our bohol tour, visit www.jorellefajardo.wordpress.com

Sorry guys for the selfie photo shot! I don't have any if you're looking for the forest itself. 128563

Me and boyfie really enjoyed the place! One of the tourist spots in Bohol. Well, it's just actually a spot. But a popular one! 128513

The place is really serene and relaxing. You can smell the trees as you pass by. 127811127807127794 And our tour guide told us that there's a White Lady at night! 128123 128561 Though, it was said that it's only a drunk man who wears a white dress plus black tshirt on his head to scare the passers by at night. Hahahaha! 128518

Imagine a 2KM hectar of mahagany trees planted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines plus the Local Govt. Kudos to them! 128077128077128077
