Went to DFA Robinsons Novaliches for our passport renewal today. Some weeks back, I saw the review of Faye A and I decided to give Lola Ote a try as well. We loved it! The 18 inch BBQ is a novelty but it actually tastes good. It's tender and very flavorful. Good for sharing. Also loved the Chicken Inasal and Isaw.

The food and service is 1108811088110881108811088
It was our first time here, my friend recommended this restaurant in Robinson's place Novaliches. She said that it's a must try! And it really didn't disappoint us. The service is good, the crews are accommodating and they serve the food fast (for a ihaw ihaw)
We tried their barkada treat B, a package of 3 isaw ng baboy, 3 bituka ng manok, 3 pork ears and 1 sizzling sisig then we added a 18" barbeque which is a must try 128077🏻
The package was I think good for 3-5 persons since the hanged bbq's are large sized

This place is interesting! Had business in the area when we found lola otes. The 18-inch barbeque surprised me. I thought it would be ordinary, but it was more. The meat was tender, and flavourful - mainly because of the sweet and spicy glaze. The size of ginataang gulay had big shrimps and was good for two. Good food for very reasonable prices. If i ever find myself here again, i think il be back.

Ps: my dad took the photo. His first foodie photo! 128517

Robinsons place novaliches have expanded a new front building just after Ayala Fairview Terraces opened. Robinsons novaliches caters for the masa thats why the new building is more of tiangge and bazzar type of shops. But inside this new building is an intriguing new resto, the lola ote.
At first I read it as lola ate but they correct me that it is ote not ate hehe. Lola ote is famous for its 18 inch barbeque. I have heard of 18in footlong or sub but for barbeque this is a first for me. The store is just on the 2nd flr of the building. It was quite spacious and with alfresco table outside.
So I ordered their famous 18in barbeque for 110 per sticks. I love the way they presented it hanging upside down and its wooden bbq stick they use a metal skewer. Their bbq tasted great and the sauce was a little bit on the sweet side. We also tried their chicken isaw which is one of my favorite. Their isaw is the round version compared to the current trend of flatten isaw. I love their isaw same sauce as the bbq. We also ordered the stuffed squid. The squid was full of meat on its inside. It was great and easy to chew.
Overall lola ote opened just the right time for Christmas seasons. This is maybe one of the reaon that I'll drop robinson novaliches next time. 128518128076
