My first time here. I was having a difficulty finding a restaurant I haven't tried before to dine at. After going around, I saw Lombardi's so I gave it a try. Their menu was quite intimidating. Not a go-to restaurant for those on a budget. I was pleased after eating here. The ravioli I ordered was good for sharing (2people) and was around 400php. They served the free bread as an appetizer and had good service. The servers were really friendly. The Ravioli was tomato-based. Not really a big fan of these because I always try those that are overly sour (or just for me?). Surprisingly, this was not that sour! 128079🏻128079🏻 The pasta was good also, however the meat was quite small. Pretty good visit. 128523

My friends and I decided to have our dessert here after eating a heavy lunch. They offer unli coffee and cakes for 250 pesos! That's a steal for me because when I saw their selection of cakes, it was really worth it. They have cheesecakes (blueberry, strawberry, and Twix), white choco caramel, Devil's food cake, choco caramel cake. There's one more that I forgot 128514

Their cakes were good albeit a little stiff. It's not the best cheesecake there is and that's okay because I didn't have high expectations. Gusto ko lang ng matamis! 128514

Their coffee was surprisingly good! If I could put a price on a cup, it'd probably be around 100. You can also switch between iced and hot coffee. I liked that option because hot coffee helps my food go down so I can eat more!! 128517

The ambience of the place is fantastic for an afternoon of catching up with friends. We went there on a weekday around 2pm so there were just a few people. This place would be great for students who chug down coffee by the liter when doing schoolwork or it could also be for groups like us who just want to eat unli dessert while catching up. Great service as well! Very attentive.

I'd definitely come back for their unli cakes and coffee! Not sure about the food though since that one's expensive for me.

One of the restos we haven't been to here in Magnolia. We loved the fried mozzarella. It's like grilled cheese but the bread was crusty. Most items were too creamy but it tastes good. Like the mushroom soup, it was so rich, it had a hint of truffle oil, which was good because usually the truffle oil taste is too overpowering, which makes the food nakakaumay. But this had just a hint of truffle which worked out pretty well. Other items we ordered tasted good. A good place to enjoy Italian food.128077

The pleasing vibe of the ambiance was enhanced with the nice appeal of Lombardi's staff. There's a ton of dishes on the menu but we decided to go for pizza, Lombardi specializes in their pizza dough that is freshly made and thin crusted. An interior wall at Lombardi's showcases its featured menu items, adding to the rustic and traditional feel of the place. great italian dining experience!

A casual dining Italian restaurant serving delicious antipasti, pizza and pasta cooking in the fresh Italian way. They are also proud of their panna cotta which I have to admit is delicious and will rival that served in more expensive hotels. Anyway, the place is cozy even though the a/c in magnolia mall are sometimes not cool enough. The pleasing vibe of the ambiance was enhanced with the nice appeal of Lombardi's staff.

We won a p500 gc during d food fair a while ago. So we went here and asked if we could avail it via take out. They readily agreed. I only payed P5 for taxes. The pizza tasted good.

We opted not to eat dinner here bec of d limited food choices, we were with lolas and kids, and their menu didnt seem appealing to family dinners. Its more kind of a business or formal dinners.

Maybe next tym will try to dine here.

The food is reasonable127829 but on the two occasions I have visited I felt the quality did not justify the costs. 128554 The service is really welcoming and attentive but I feel the food needs a little work. If you allege it is authentic Italian cuisine, I don't think so 128148 because the authentic Italian cuisine is about fresh, local, seasonal food which is cooked and dished out. Simple authentic ingredients make dishes full of flavour. But sadly say, this there food is not fresh.128078

Our experience was so disappointing I did not even bother to try and take note of the names of the dishes we got. Here's what we ordered: (sorry for the inaccuracy 128549)

Truffle/Tartufo pasta - The truffle taste was so faint you needed to concentrate really hard to get even just a slight whiff of it. The pasta was really dry too and lacked flavor. I had to call on the waiter to have it re-done but he was kind enough to replace it with a new one. The new one was no longer dry but was STILL disappointingly bland. The only thing that saved it was the freshly made al dente pasta. 2/5 128529

Amatriciana sauce with italian pancetta over fetuccine - This was again bland. My sister tells me that when they went to Italy last year, she found their pastas bland too so maybe it was really meant to be this way? I don't really know..but I was not happy with it so I tried to save it by dumping almost half the canister of parmesan cheese over the pasta just to give it a little more flavor. But then it got too dry so I had to ask for stewed tomatoes to moisten it up a little bit more. Parang kami na nagtimpla ng sarili naming pasta..and to think we were paying P400++ for this dish alone. Tsk. Well at least it tasted a lot better after all that. 3/5.

Chicken breast with risotto - The chicken was so thin, stringy and dry. It tasted overcooked to me. The risotto was nothing special. 1/5.

This is the 1st time I've written a bad review and I feel really sad about it because I am a lover of Italian food and my experience here didn't really do anything to strengthen that emotion. Hopefully the people from Lombardi's are getting feedback not only from the reviews here on looloo but also from customers dining at their restaurant in the form of comment cards or whatever so they could improve on the quality and taste of their food.

The food was ok. Not bad, but nothing too memorable either. We ordered the dishes suggested by our server: the black truffle pasta and the steak. Both dishes were underwhelming in my opinion. The black truffle pasta was kinda subdued. I've definitely tried better ones. The steak was ok, it was steak, albeit a bit dry. The flavor and texture was ok, but nothing to write home about either. The highlight of our dinner ended up being the pizza that came free with the steak.

On a more positive note, the service was REALLY good. Servers were very attentive. The place also looks very nice which was why I was attracted to eating here in the first place. And they have a board posting chef's specials, giving you more reasons to come back.

Italian cuisine. Food was relatively okay, not something extraordinary. It gave me that I've-tasted-this-before kind of thing. The Mozzarella in Carrozza was good though.

Went to St. Luke's QC for a procedure and proceeded to Rob Magnolia for lunch with a doctor friend.

I love trying out new restos and Lombardi's was (un)fortunately one of my victims. We ordered their Lasagna, 4-cheese pizza and a starter (forgot the name!). It doesn't matter what they call it because everything we ordered was forgettable anyway. It was overpriced and it tasted like UGH! I won't even dare describe it.

Anyway... It's not worth your money. I'm sorry for the bad review. 128532

I was craving for Tiramisu, and they just happened to have it on their menu, so we decided to try it out. Disclaimer: I don't usually eat tiramisu, so I don't have a good idea of what a really good tiramisu is... But I kind of liked this one. It wasn't too sweet, and the coffee liquor flavor wasn't too strong. It was soft and creamy too. For 250 or so, it was big enough to feed 2 people, so not bad.

We also got intrigued by their homemade gelato, so we ordered some of their chocolate. Immediately, you'll notice the presentation isn't that great. It was served to us in a transparent cup, but just like how you would do it at home. The taste was okay, but nothing really special stands out about it. It's priced at 120, and is probably not worth ordering.

The place itself looks interesting especially because of their brick ovens for pizzas. Maybe I'll try that and an order of pasta next time.

EDIT: wow, new badge! 127881
