Looking for authentic Batangas Lomi? Lomi King is the top choice. Lipa being dubbed to be Batangas' best in Lomi, Lomi King certainly carries the torch. Lomi King's lomi can be described in one word. Simple. No fancy veggies and seasonings. What you'll get is that signature hot thick, hearty broth bathing the noodles. It's a complete dish on its own with pork cracklings, pork liver and sliced pork. To complete the ensemble , the noodle is topped with raw onions and condiment it with chilisoymansi (chili, soy sauce, calamansi). If you happen to stop by in Lipa, Batangas be sure to stop by Lomi King, to complete your Batangas food trip.

ala eh! pagkasarap ng lomi ng batangas! One serving costs 60.00 and could be shared by 2 people already. Ang sarap nito truly a lipa specialty.

I believe my father in law came from Batangas the day after he gave this to me during this month. He often visits his hometown and this Lomi is one of his fave place to go to in Lipa. It was already a year ago since i had this the last time. I was soo happy and excited to have this coz we were just talking about it days before i got this. Glad he craved for it that he also thought of buying some for us. 128525

Now, how can you not love this very delicious Lomi?
I love that it's always abundant with Shrimp, Squidball and Fish. 128523

I never thought i'd be eating Lomi ever again in my life...coz fyi, i'm not a Lomi person, ever!!!
But this one was found by my hubby on Fb. Posted it and tagged my father in law who is a real Batangeño! He couldnt belive he hadn't known something like this in Batangas and so few days after, he went to Batangas by himself! A 60+ senior citizen drove alone just to try this and said he didnt regert doing so..Why?! Because it was delicious and CHEAP!!!!!!!!

He btw gave us this as pasalubong and i couldn't stop eating it! The thinnest flat Lomi noodles ive had, yummy soup, and a lot of meat inside, may parang siomai, squid balls and ground meat balls...Ahh, super toh!!!!!!

If you want authentic lomi, this is it. I'm sure there are other great lomi places but this one is recommended by locals. I love the thickness of the broth and the tenderness of the noodles. The extra treat would be the crunchy, filling, sliced kikiam thrown into the soup. Make sure to have a dipping dish of soy sauce with calamansi and sili on the side as most Filipino dishes ought to be eaten.

And I highly recommend ordering the dry noodles with caldo and an extra plate of fried kikiam.

The place is simple, basic and unpretentious. You go there for the food and not for the ambiance. I would definitely go back. I even crave for this late at night and wouldn't mind driving all the way from Manila for this.

What I love about travelling that comes with my job is the food sidetrip. So, off I went to Lipa to check out their delicacies!

1st stop: LOMI KING. Because I'm fairly starving and this the first lomi house on the road.

I ordered their Lomi Special as I read somewhere that that is their specialty. ;p

The food looks very appetizing, it comes with chopped onions on the side, which is good as I love onions. However, the taste is lacking. I kept on putting soy sauce on it but injust can't get the saktong taste for me. So there.

What really thumbs down this place is the little ipis crawling on my thigh. Yes. On my thigh. After which, I also saw another one on my table. Nyerks.
