First to taste this egg tart when i was in Glorietta fee months ago. I wonder why this egg tart is pricey? I also learned that the original egg tart can be found in Macau.

So then, i tried egg tart here in the Philippines and the original from Macau since i went there for a family vacation.

Th verdict:

This egg tart may be bite size but its worth it! The consistency of sweetness and creaminess is just right and its heaven! I think 1 piece is not enough to satisfy your cravings. So order in box! Perfect for pasalubong and dessert.

The price is a bit costly. It ranges from Php 42-50 per piece. Same price when i visited Macau, the price is from 8-9 MOP convert it to PHP, so same rate.

-xoxo

The best Egg Tarts! I don't know if it's expensive for P48 each but it doesn't matter. This is really good!

Im not a fan of their tart but you know whats worth buying here, the TORTILLA CHIPS / NACHOS! The barbecue flavor is just to die for, if you like Doritos and such kinds this is a good alternative at a much cheaper price.

Lord Stow's egg tart is a favorite on-the-go snack, particularly when I'm in the middle of some serious retail therapy and just need a quick bite. I love its sweet and smooth custard filling and flaky shell. They say it tastes different from the ones made in Macau, so I made sure to visit the original bakery in Coloane Island when I was in Macau last October. The photo on the lower righthand corner is the egg tart from Lord Stow's bakery in Macau. Maybe my palate is not discerning enough, but frankly I didn't notice any marked difference in flavor, save that the egg tarts in Macau are served fresh from the oven and piping hot which of course made them infinitely better than reheated egg tarts.

The best egg tart I have ever tasted so far. I was not a fan of pastries and tarts but when I come to taste this one - OMG. It was heavenly! So creamy filling, not over sweetened and the crust! Flaky and always fresh! 12852310084128077127854

The filling was creamy and sweetened just right that melted in my mouth. The crust was also fresh and flaky. Definitely the best tasting egg tarts!
