Got a bunch of stuff to send to fam abroad. They have so much local stuff in this store, like a mini version of Blue Kitchen.

Tart prices have increased a bit, well compared to when they first opened. But still taste delicious after all these years. Tastes exactly how they make them in Macau. They also seem so huge now that I've been eating a lot of the smaller, more expensive cheese tarts.

If you are not familiar with this place, google the history. It's like War of the Roses between Lord Stow and Margaret.

The area around Lord Stow's is filled with delicious and inviting smell of egg tarts. I always wanted to just pop inside and get myself a treat but since I'm trying to stay healthy, I always just close my eyes and move along 128586

But one day, they asked me to take home some egg tarts since they are reminiscing our trip in Macau. So one Friday night, at around 9:30, I head on to the store and got a box of six for P245.

They are open until 10 in the evening but when I got there, there are only 7 tarts left. Buti na lang umabot! 128517

Placed it in the fridge, ate one the next day and it is still delicious. I love the crusty taste and the custard filling is to die for. I thought I could just go ahead and finish one box but that's not exactly eating healthy, right? 128528

So I just settled with one 128514

Best consumed six hours after purchase but you can always place it inside your refrigerator and eat it cold. Otherwise, you can reheat but using an oven and not a microwave.

Heat for 2-3 minutes at 200C.

Aside from egg tarts, they also sell different Filipino snacks and chips.

Hay, if only I could eat so many egg tarts and not gain weight. I will do it! 128055

Added tip: Some would sprinkle cinnamon on top! I haven't tried it but next time I will. It's already sinful to eat because of the eggs, cream and sugar. 128586

Last Saturday Khalil had a craving for egg tarts so we dropped by Lord Stow's Bakery.

Thought process while looking around: Hmm barbecue cassava chips. What exactly is a cassava? I'm not really sure. (at this point I ask the lady in the store) Bakery woman says its a root. Hmm. Root. Sounds weird but I like barbecue. I'll try it, its only Php45 and must be healthier than junk food.

And there began my love affair with barbecue cassava chips.

I may or may not have eaten the whole bag in one sitting.

I also may or may not have ordered 8 more packs last night through HeyKuya.

Craving for an Egg Tart? They certainly got one of the best! My craving was finally satisfied!

Visited the store earlier at around 7PM and they only had 2 pieces left. Huhu. I'll make sure to drop by earlier next time!

The custard in the middle says it all! Try it for only Php42/pc!!! 128525128525128525

Best eggtarts i've tasted. Wasn't too sweet and the mix of textures was on point. The flaky crust really complemented the soft custard center.

Their Egg Tarts are a must try! The crust is soft and flaky while the filling is custardy, creamy and not too sweet. They taste even better when warm.
Also try their Cassava Chips! A healthier version of the potato chips but they taste just the same! 128077128523

I was so curious to try this once I read Melissa P's review here on looloo. Finally, I was able to get a hold of one.

This made me feel nostalgic somehow because it reminded me of the eggpie that we used to bake when we were still running a bakery.

This is now one of my favorite desserts 128522
